I've had a couple pairs of these pant for years and they keep going. Had some problems with the crotch ripping out but I think we got that fixed. The new version/design have it all. I'll never wear another pair of jeans - these are so versatile and comfortable I hate having to send them to the wash.

I plan on using the pants for hiking, trekking, traveling, and camping. They fit great and look good. The material seems durable but a tad bit heavy, but that's the trade-off right. I think it would do well in wet weather. I like the deep cargo pockets; the left side zips and the right side is quick access; also zippered rear pocket. Comparable to the Paramount 3.0, these are the older sub-model; a little bit lower price. There were a couple of things I liked about the 3.0, but ultimately chose these because of the bigger cargo pockets and the lower price.

Wear these every day. Durable and light, pockets are solid, presentable to wear to work. Like that I don't have to worry about changing pants to change activities, like from work to the river.

Just love the quality and the feel of these pants! True North Face Craftsmanship. These are hands down the best pants I own! Can't wait for the warmer weather so I can unzip them to shorts!

Love the fit of these pants. Im 6'2" and the long (relaxed or regular?) fit well. The skinny legged version is defiantly not for me. I really like these pants North Face thought of everything. These convertible pants even have crotch venting. Quick drying, breathable, and comfortable... love them!

I use these camping and fishing in the sierra Nevadas and they are perfect. Dry super quick, very versatile in the hot to cold temperatures, as you could take off the legs and you could wear long johns underneath to be super warm. Surprisingly durable as i could slide down rocks on the river and it didnt hurt the butt of my pants. I highly reccomend these to people looking for a ln awesome fishing or camping pant.

I found a pair of these pants years ago and liked them so well that I searched them out again. I don' t use the convertible option often, but I am glad to have it.

Great for fishing in south Louisiana. Cool mornings turn into warm days and the pants can change as the weather does.

My husband wore the older version of this pant climbing Kilimanjaro. They were out of stock for a bit and now we've found them. We've ordered more to replace the the ones that have started to wear out after 6 years of nearly constant wear. He loves them.

I own these in every available color and they are by far my go to hiking pant. The fact that they are a convertable pant is the best part. Start the morning hike in full pant mode and by midday unzip the bottom leg and now shorts. BAM! The best of both worlds. I also really like the pocket configuration giving you many useful places to store things within easy reach. I would love to see these in maybe a 500+ denier cordura version and insulated for really cold activities but for now with a base layer they are still warm and stay dry. Great pants for hiking!

great style and cut... hate when too baggy but also not a fan of the skinny fit either. i'm 5,11 205 and and Lg is just right on waste, length, and thigh roominess. Great materials, not overly heavy so can mutli function well for activities and or chilling.

Great hiking pants. Not warm but you've gotta know that these aren't thermal winter pants so they definitely fulfill there purpose and are great as advertised.

I have worn these pants for over 20 years. I am not sure if they have been made that entire time but I still wear the ones I bought years ago. I was so happy to get these and I will order more.

I have an pair of these that could be well over 20 years old. They're great for hiking and back packing. After getting serious knee surgery following an accident, these turned out to be great for using as over pants in cold weather. I can get them off and on over shoes when my knee doesn't bend much, and over a bulky leg brace, because of the bottom leg zippers and the looser fit. It surely has saved me.
