I live in NE Georgia, so a lot of humidity and mild winters. I use this jacket when it rains which is mostly moderate to light. It holds up well and keeps me reasonably dry. I don't use it for running or hiking as much. I have the previous iteration of this jacket and it wasn't terribly breathable - this one appears to have a similar construction. I pair it with a zip up fleece and it'll keep me warm enough for most of our winter. I bought this one on discount, so I'm pretty happy with it. It's a solid, basic wind/rain jacket.

For the handcuffs elasticity option would be much better than Velcro options as the hands are too long

Sleeves are quite long for me, will need to get them tailored.

I like to be outside and this is a light wind and waterproof jacket the keeps me dry and blocks out the wind so i stay warm and i don't have to wear to many layers.

Great jacket for the rain!!

Simple no-frills lightweight rain jacket. Works for what it is.

It is great for wet and rainy days

My first jacket was great but the inside liner began to peel away after a few years. Northface Warranty covered it. Hoping this new one performs the same and lasts even longer.

When I first saw it, I thought it is a jacket instead of a wind blocker. However, it makes sense due to the price I got. I think they did a wonderful job advertising the products. I thought I got a deal, however, I pay the amount of exactly how much this jacket might cost. Wonderful products but I felt that I was cheated on the price.

I usually wear a large, but the large I ordered was too big. Quality seemed good and I really liked the color.

I am a bigger girl and none of the women's jackets fit me around the stomach area. They fit great everywhere else. It would be nice to be able to get the women's jacket but instead I had to order a man's and the arms were to long for me but I had no choice since that was the jacket that I wanted.

I use it for rain.

waterproof windbreaker. bought for dad and looks really good but typical expensive since it is a north face. nothing special but gets the job done and looks good. also good quality.

I like this jacket but the sleeves are a bit long on me, even the XS size.

It's not as breathable as I had hoped, but the pit zips help. It's a high-quality raincoat. Very well made.

Like the coat a lot, but as mentioned the sleeves seem a bit long for a medium sized coat.

North Face is a great brand. My wife and I have purchased their jackets in the past and we love them. Even our children love their jackets.

Wear when it rains

I had been looking for a light jacket or shell that was light, of modern design and most importantly, waterproof. I received my Venture 2 jacket today and it is light, fits great, the color is fabulous and I cannot wait to wear it next time we get a soaker!

I like how it feels and fits on my torso. The sleeves are just a bit too long. I have yet to use it in prolonged rainy conditions, but I predict it will keep me dry.
