Nice color and very durable

I had this jacket for about a month now and have used it daily as the outer shell of my rucking (hiking) clothing kit - wicking layer, warmth layer, outer shell. Living in Michigan, I've already had the opportunity to use it through most weather conditions - from cold and snowy, to warm-ish and windy. I've been very happy with it and would recommend it as use as an outer shell, but not an only layer because it's not very breathable. For me, that's not a big deal. When I'm done wearing, I turn it inside-out to let the interior dry out on the back of a chair. Just know, if you're doing physical activity, and this is the only layer against your skin, the sweat it's not going to wick away or evaporate. PRO's: Great wind and rain protection. Lightweight. Easily packable. Roomy side pockets. Good fit. CON's: Breathability (holds perspiration inside). Pricey.

Nice jacket. Great in the Spring. Great for rainstorms.

Lost venture 1 jacket after a few years of use. Bought venture 2. This is not an athletic fit, it is a standard fit. If I could change anything would make a bit slimmer for my personal build and style.

Saw many have it and I had to have it to. I've loved it already. A little bigger than I thought, not true to size.

Great jackets, great value; I've always bought North Face rain jackets for my son, he puts them to the test and they hold up, that's why I keep coming back to The North Face!

Boyfriend liked the armpit vents. Traps heat well. Wear with fleece or puffer for cold weather (comfortable with a fleece at 40 degrees F). Can be worn in warm weather since it is just a waterproof shell.

Product was for my dad. He enjoys it but it feels to tight

Haven't had the opportunity to use it in more than a light drizzle, but it kept me dry. Rain just slides off. Looks and fits great. I'm 5'11" 175lbs and the medium allows for a reasonably thick hoodie to be worn comfortably underneath.

Like how light weight it is. Durable but could be a little warmer.

Great raincoat. Living in Florida I need one. Runs a little big, so order accordingly. Great pockets and secure hood.

A bit right at the bottom and the zipper sometimes gets stuck towards the top, otherwise it's a great rain jacket.

Not much for warmth maybe should have looked into the thickness.

Great jacket just runs a little bigger than previous one I had which was same size but thats fine as you can layer underneath.

From the picture I assumed the jacket was all black but the jacked I received was black and grey later I noticed in the description it mentioned black and gray and jacket feels a little big wish I would have sized down.

Very high quality material and comfortable and gets the job done. Always a customer for the north face.

This is a great, classic shell but I think you'd be better off with the breathability and stretch of the Allproof stretch jacket for just $50 more. I swapped mine out for one after trying on both at the store.

size, quality, and packability are all good.

My husband loves his jacket. I wish it were just a but shorter in length, but overall great.

This is a great jacket and fits me well. It has already kept me dry through many walks and hikes. It really is breathable and doesn't allow moisture to build up inside. Only small complaint is that I wish the hood tightened over the top of my head rather than around my face. I have a winter coat by north face where the hood tightens around my head similar to a hat.

Bought two of these jackets for my college boys. Jacket does the trick on rainy days. Light weight and easy to pack/fold down into backpacks. Hope it withstand the college years. It is a good investment so far.
