I have a hard time finding Jackets that fit, I'm 5'11" 245lbs with wide shoulders and back. This Jacket fits exactly how I like it, can't wait till it starts raining here (Hawaii) to test it out.

So i bought this rain jacket for just that, rain. However, I've found that it's quite mobile and perfect for a morning run with light showers in the forecast. Also, it's proven to be a sufficient wind-shield, but I wouldn't be wearing it on those 20 and below days, lol. But in conclusion, this is an awesome little jacket for the price and i would definitely purchase it again :)

Great quality. Light wear but good to layer with. Cheap. The water just beads off the jacket leaving you completely dry.

Everyone needs a dependble quality rain jacket and you cant go wrong with a venture. Imagine being caught in a downpour without a rain kacket such as the venture that also keeps you cool. you may have to resort to a coat of some sort that keeps you sweaty. With the venture you would be ready for whatever mother nature throws your way whether that be on campus or and exploration trip.

I'm 6'3 and the XL fits very well. The quality of the jacket is clear just by wearing it. It's lightweight and completely water eproof. Perfect for days around the city and for hiking. My only complaint was that for the Cosmic Blue color option, the logo was also cosmic blue not white as seen in the online image.

This jacket is made of high quality material, built to last. The stitching right down to the zipper is pure perfection. This is a great repellent jacket and will last a lifetime.

I ordered a men's venture jacket online and I got it fresh in the box with a northface sticker :) But yeah I love this jacket, it's light and very stylish. The water resilience makes it perfect for the upcoming fall. I can almost garauntee you'll love this jacket!

This jacket works amazingly well in the rain. It is a great spring/fall jacket. It manages to keep you warm, dry, and even wicks away sweat. There's nothing more I could ask for.

I looked at many different rain jackets. I was at The North Face store and tried this one on and it was exactly what I was looking for. It has the dual draw string in the hood. The rear drawstring makes the hood snug to your head so you can turn your head from side to side and not be blinded by the hood. The other important feature was the zippers under the arm pits. This allows the coat to breath and regulate your temperature. I was surprised at how well the material breaths. At first I had my doubts but it works great. I am going to use this as a shell for my Denali vest and jacket to protect me from the wind and rain. It is a well made well thought out rain jacket. It is packable in the left hand pocket, it can easily fit in a day pack or back pack.

I purchased my first Venture Jacket more than 10 years ago, and finally had to replace it last month when the interior lining around the neck became worn. Everything still worked perfectly - the wear was just a bit unsightly. The overall quality and durability of this jacket is absolutely excellent - I would recommend it to anyone! Well worth $100!!

This jacket is perfect for Columbia River gorge winds and drizzle! Perfect weight where you are protected from our wonderful west winds and yet lightweight enough to keep your temperature perfect in the sunshine. And if the occasional drizzle happens, you're dry as well! Got this jacket for both my daughter and her boyfriend and they love it! Wear it constantly!

Due to an impulse buy I picked this little number up online in the blue and red color scheme. I was really excited for the jacket to arrive but every day it was coming I felt more and more regret for buying it. When it came I wanted to send it right back because the colors were really out there and in your face and eye catching. So instead of wearing it out in public I posted a picture on twitter to see how people would react. Everyone loves it! I have since worn it and only get really nice comments in regards to my venture jacket. This is the second one I have and as always the fit is perfect! It's lightweight, portable, flexible, and just plain genius. But what else can you expect from the North Face? GET IT.

I'm an avid hiker/climber living high in Colorado mountains where rain/wind shells are mandatory. I had several other name brand shells from major gear manufacturers that were badly worn and needed to be replaced. I kept looking for something that had: 1) Waterproof shell, 2) Windproof shell, 3) Adjustable hood, 4) Pit Zips, 5) Front Zipper, 6) Front Velcro, 7) Stow-able Pocket, 8) Fit right, 9) Was lightweight. After looking at all the major brands, the North Face Venture was the only shell I could find with all these features? Now that I've used the Venture Rain Shell in the field, I ordered two more. This is a bomb proof shell you cannot go wrong with.

The jacket has the right amount of pockets and all the right locations. The jackets fabric looks like it will hold up to what the weather and I will put it through. So far it has kept me warm and dry this spring and will be my go to jacket. It should perform well in the cold and windy fall/winter weather...but its too soon to write a review on that.

I've tried others and have never been able to find a raincoat that REALLY keeps out the rain. This one is so waterproof that my cell phone has never gotten damp even when tucked in a pocket in a monsoon. And the hood has adjustable sides so even if the wind is whipping, it still stays up and doesn't blow away. Love it!

I bought this jacket to use during a festival that I was working. The festival is notorious for having rain the entire time and, needless to say, it kept me dry the entire time (at least my upperbody was dry). The only thing problem with this coat is the size, because it was quite big. But they give you velcro straps on the sleeves, so you can make it fit.

I have a venture jacket and have been very satisfied with it. I recently purchased one for my neice and nephew for Easter. They were both thrilled with the jacket(I purchased each on them a jacket for Christmas) , and have been wearing them daily. The color and also the fit was great.
