I love my Venture jacket for its versatility and utility. I use it for both day hiking and commuting in the unpredictable and variable northwest weather. It's great for both because it's roomy enough to have an insulating layer when I need one. I also like that it packs down nicely so I can keep it in my backpack when I don't need it. The hood works great. It's easy to flip up and down and can be cinched to keep it out of my eyes.

I lead hawk watches and bird tours, nature outings and science based surveys. I have 2 Columbia jackets I had been using for 10 years, lost them both in the 2017 Tubbs Fire in Sonoma County. Went to try to replace them with Columbia gear and no big sizes, tried Patagonia, again no big sizes... Thank goodness foe North Face and sizes for big guys.. looking forward to utilizing your gear over the next 2 or 3 decades, Will not buy Columbia again.

First was a gift from my brother. Became my favorite rain coat up until I lost it. So I decided to buy another. Fits my style and fulfills my needs.

The quality of this jacket is excellent. After using the original Venture Rain jacket in all kinds of mountain conditions when I seen the Venture 2 I decided to get it and I am very happy I did. It is very light but also very durable, the fit is perfect. I have used it a few times while peakbagging and just 3 days ago I was on a summit with 70 mph wind and it sure was nice to have my new Venture 2 Rain Jacket. I don't like to carry a separate wind shell and rain shell and as light as this is I can get both jobs done with this jacket. And those are the kind of things that add up to a lighter pack. I got it in weathered orange and this will be my go to rain/wind shell for all of my peakbagging and mountaineering trips. As always North Face quality and a decent price.

I received this for Christmas because I wanted a light weight windbreaker/ rain coat for running, traveling, and general wear. I really like that it folds into its own pocket, but even if you don't want to pack it like that it still folds very flat. This jacket does an excellent job of keeping the wind off of you. I've also noticed when running that it does trap your body heat so if you're moving it can keep you somewhat warm. Over all this is an awesome jacket at a pretty reasonable price.

I've been wearing this jacket to coach softball. It is perfect to keep me dry and I can fit a sweatshirt under it to keep warm! The hood is very functional and stays on my head through lots of wind and running.

I originally bought the large but the arms were too long, so i exchanged it for a medium and it fits much better. I am 6'0" 180lbs and I would recommend a medium for my size.

Was meant to be used as a workout jacket but it's way too baggy for an extra small as are most of the extra smalls I've gotten. Great brand just a bad fit.

A good light weight weather proof jacket. We are in Kauai this week and it is a wet trip. The Venture jacket has been a blessing.

The Venture 2 jacket worked great on the trails and is compact for traveling. Used it while hiking over 8,000 ft in elevation with snow. I used layers of clothing under the Venture 2 jacket for warmth. The jacket kept me dry and allowed me to adjust the built in ventilation to keep from overheating. I am very happy with the Venture 2.

Love the jacket. Also purchased the women's Venture Jacket and love that just as much. Lightweight and great in rainy weather!

Fantastic as a commuter jacket/shell in rainy weather or for easier hikes. The sizing seems to run a tad large to a comparable jacket from Patagonia, but it makes it easier to layer underneath (which is needed in any cooler temperatures).

Love the jacket I went with a large which I normally stick with medium and it's a little big so might have to go with the medium next time.

This jacket has been the smartest purchase in a long time. Whether it's a cold rainy weather type of day, or I'm just going to the market, this jacket is the most versatile jacket I've owned.

I bought this jacket for my husband-he has never had a "cool" jacket and we won't discuss his age, but he loved it and I loved it on him. I guy North Face for all of my grandkids ranging from 12 to 21 because they love this brand-always good quality and style
