It's a rain coat. Does the job without a fuss.

I purchased this jacket for use on the boat and is great to wear at any destination or port.

Good for rainy days in summer or winter, and if you put a sweater below the rain jacket, will be perfect for cold weather.

Use this jacket at work, almost daily. It's perfect and will buy this again in a different color.

High quality raincoat that does what it's advertised to do. I'm 5'8" 170 and i usually buy medium shirts but this runs large so a small fits well. Really happy with this for hiking in the rain.

I'm off to Ireland where rain is a crapshoot, and just needed something that I could take with me as a contingency, but not a hassle. The stuffing-into-it's-own-pocket feature was perfect - only they don't tell you which one (hint: the LEFT pocket). And while it is supplied with a loop, a claps of some kind would have been an extra touch. I solved it easily with a light-duty caribiner. Now, just clip to my belt loop until needed. Breath ability is what you might expect from a water-resistant jacket, but the HUGE zippered vents an each side of the torso make venting easy. All in all, love it.

I had a light weight rain coat that stopped shedding water. Sent in for review and was promptly received a gift card. Picked a new style that looks great and is still light weight. Great for hiking or walking around town looking good. Best rain coat around and great customer service if needed.

I bought a similar North Face jacket in Jackson Hole, Wyoming about 15 years ago, on a trip to Yellowstone. After 15 years of wear, the inside lining started to flake off. North Face has a lifetime warranty policy on its products, and this jacket was acquired through that warranty. No questions asked. Good service. The sleeve length, while a little long for me, is not a problem, because of the Velcro fasteners on the cuffs. It is good for wearing over warmer clothing.

I purchased this jacket primarily for hiking in the rain but also as a three season rain coat to wear with everything. I have not yet used it to hike but have found it to be adjustable in all the right places with vents, a great fit, waterproof, and well made. I have used it lately commuting to/from work in the rain since I don't like to use umbrellas...ever. Great coat so far.

This jacket is great for all activities. Very versatile. I bought mine to use for backpacking and hiking, but works for all outdoor activities. The jacket is extremely light weight and folds into itself for packing. It's made well and material has been durable thus far. I've worn it on multiple occasions without issues. The jacket wears a little big, but that's great for hiking/backpacking. Allows for layering of clothing and adding layers beneath your shell. Also makes the jacket versatile for all weather environments (except snow). All in all, it's a great product and I would recommend it.
