I have plantar fasciatis so I was looking for some cute orthopedic flip flops. I had never tried Vionic shoes before and I was so excited to find these as I like to have a little higher heel on my shoes. When I received them I was pleasantly surprised because the style was pretty awesome; however, I began to wear them and the love affair ended quickly. I ordered my typical size (9) but it felt like the arch support wasn't in the right place. I kept wearing them and my feet (both of them--and I only have PF in one of them) began to howl. I ended up returning them. I know lots of other people swear by these, but they were not for me.

I think I misunderstood this shoe, so leaving a review to help others not make the same error. It seems to be designed with orthopedic support in mind, not necessarily style. By the pictures I thought this would be a moderately cute woven flip flop, with a little wedge lift. But in person, it is clearly an orthotic shoe. The sole is a thick, ugly rubber material, like crocs, and obviously so. They were comfortable, but as I was just looking for an attractive flip flop, not worth the price tag.

I love have two pairs of Vionics and love them, but this pair is going back. The sandal felt uncomfortable as soon as I put this pair on. The footbed was hard and unyielding. While this shoe has arch support, it did not feel comfortable on my foot at all. The straps also felt a little tight. Finally, the appearance of the sandal was a bit clunky. I’m bummed!

Love Vionic but the straps on this Sandal cut into my arch so bad couldn’t walk with them. Not good if you have high arch.

I was looking forward to this shoe fitting but alas, where my arch is and the arch in the shoe did not match! This made for an uncomfortable and loose fit on my foot and I got no support where it was needed. Sadly I will be returning the sandals, although I loved the color. As usual Zappos was right on the mark as far as ordering, delivery and returns. Thanks for your great service.

I so wanted to love these shoes! I've been looking for something just like them - look great, feel great, have great support - however, I had to return them. In just walking around my house to try them out, I nearly rolled my ankle half a dozen times. For whatever reason, they shockingly were not that stable. Too often my foot would roll sideways in them and I was afraid I'd truly hurt an ankle should I have walked in them outside. So bummed!

I love this style of shoe! I'd wear Vionic sandals all year. BUT THESE, not so much. For some reason this sandal in the same size and width I buy other High Tide shoes, doesn't seem to offer the arch support in the right place. Returned.

I was hoping this shoe would be better than the last pair I bought in this brand but it wasn't. The support seemed to hit the middle of my arch and not the inside to help support my ankles. I keep hoping to find a pair as comfortable as my quickly declining Merrell's but so far not good. The toe strap is comfortable and I liked the height.

These shoes had much too high of an arch for me. The arch dug into my foot so unfortunately, I need to return them. If you like a high, hard arch, these shoes would be great.

Not awesome. The footbed is too hard/stiff and the uppers are painful.

Read the reviews and ordered wide.You won't need wide. Too wide. Will try regular size in Vionic, platform notwithstanding. PS Sorry to say really strong chemical smell out of the box on this one.

I've had a few pairs of Vionic sandals, including the Tide I, but I felt these run a bit narrower. As my feet are on the wider side of medium width, the sides of my feet hung over the sandals a little. Not an attractive look! The length was the same as my other sandals.

I normally wear a 9 1/2 or 10. I ordered the size 9, and while the length was just fine, the straps were very sloppy. I do not have a narrow foot. Going back.

Being that Vionic is the only brand I have worn over the past 6 years as far as shoes, sneakers, slippers, boots, and flip flops, I had to buy this seemingly brilliant platform flip flop. I own several pairs of the Tide I and Tide II flip flops so I am very familiar with sizing/fit re: the Tide collection. Sadly, the platform version is not the same as far as sizing nor fit. Plus the straps are different. The straps on the "High Tide" are so incredibly loose that I almost fell after walking few feet after trying them on! (I am 44 and thankfully without any health issues that would cause me to fall so easily). I tried the High Tide on again a few days later, and I lost my balance AGAIN since the straps are so ridiculously loose and the flip flop is just too big. I am always size 10 in this brand and the High Tide flip flop was a size 10. Too bad since I loved the platform idea! I really hope this platform can be revised to fit properly since it's otherwise spectacular!

The Arch support, was under the ball of my foot. Therefore these were very uncomfortable.

These shoes run very small. They are the most uncomfortable pair of sandals I ever had.

Very disappointed. Bought Same sandal last year fit great. This year cheaper made and too big! How do you buy a shoe on line that fits? How many size 7 are they?

I had to return them because I slipped off the left side, twisted my foot and broke my metatarsal bone. I wish I could find a shoe or sandal with all that support but maybe with straps or a closed toe. This all happened as I was trying them on. Freak accident I guess

Some colors have a slippery sole. I have a narrow foot, and I feel like I could have fit a half of my other foot in them, they’re SO wide...

Appeared used. Very disappointed in Zappos. Wasn’t even in manufacturer box. Sending back.

This sole of this shoe was hard, I have neuropathy so I couldn't wear them.

These definitely aren't made for wide feet

I have original Vionic Tide flip-flops and have been happy with them. New foot problems that benefit from having about a 1" heel lift prompted me to try these. I do not care for all of that extra heel to have to flip-flop about. Returned.
