Hi, I just received these today. The estimated size was way wrong. I was shipped a size 39 which is usually equivalent to a size 9 but it says it's a size 8 in the shoe. I'd say order a size SMALLER than what you normally wear given the weird sizing. Size 39 would like fit someone with a size 9 foot. So disappointed..

Not like normal Vionic flip flops. The foot bed was very hard and uncomfortable.

Loved the look and arch support. Maybe it’s the way I walk, but I returned them because of the loud slapping sound with every step.

Ordered a size 6 and it fit perfectly. The problem is the arch support is way too much and too stiff . I supposed it's good for people with high arches. Not comfortable for me. Sadly, I'm returning it. Too bad because the style is great. Looks good. Love the wedge height.

I ordered the Vionic Sandals because my podiatrist recommended these for house sandals to help with my plantar fasciitis. I ordered the wide width, but unfortunately hese were too narrow. My foot is wide at the toes and my big toe was hanging off the edge of the sandal so these would not work for me.

comfortable foot bed, but the 'tongue' is quite uncomfortable between the toes (rough material) and it is very noisy (loud slap slap when you walk)

I have tried several Vionic styles and I just can't seem to get them to fit right. This pair was no exception. Because it only cam in full sizes I had to order a half size bigger than I normally wear and it was too long and the arch did not hit in the right place. They are very stiff and not comfortable at all. I have a friend that loves Vionics but they just dont work for me.

These were not like my other Vionics I ordered
I am a true Vionics supporter and have ordered them for the last 5 to 6 years. I have to admit I am not crazy about this style. it does not feel comfortable like all their other designs. Was disappointed. the sole is awfully hard and takes time getting used to. the shoe is actually a little bit heavier than I expected as well.

I have a wide foot and was happy to see there was an option for a wide width in this flip flop. I own the flat Vionic Tide and was excited to get a higher heeled version. Unfortunately, I did not find the width to be any wider than the normal medium width, which I also purchased to compare. The medium width felt tighter than the other the regular Tide so I have to return them both.

I was really hoping these would fit good, since i love the lower version of Vionic's regular High Tide sandals. Unfortunately one fit really well, the other seemed almost a 1/2 size larger. So much so that i even compared them side by side and bottom-to-bottom, one did appear only slightly larger, but felt much more roomier than its counterpart. I normally take an 8 in the Vionic sandals, but these still felt too roomy, so I returned. Will try again with a different style, because i love Vionic's arch support.

I had such high hopes for these sandals. They're soooo cute! After I saw where one reviewer said that the High Tide felt like the original Orthaheel Tide, I got all excited and ordered them. I ordered both the Medium and Wide widths, in the white color. Sadly, both are going back because they don't have nearly as much support as my other Orthaheel/Vionic sandals, and they do not work for my feet. More details:
- I have posterior tibial tendon dysfunction which results in serious flatfootedness and overpronation. My arches and the inside edges of my heels need enough lift to align my ankles, and this support needs to be firm to keep my ankles stable. These sandals did not have enough lift in the right places. Also, the footbed was slightly cushiony, so even if the shoes had had enough "inside lift," I might have had to send them back for the inadequate firmness. (For comparison, I don't have these issues with my original Tides. The other Orthaheel and Vionic thong sandals I've purchased have had sufficient inside lift, but they're all too flexible in the sole to keep my ankle stable, so I can only wear them for brief periods.)
- Regarding length, I normally wear a 9.5 in other shoes/brands (or 10 if I need a little more width). With Orthaheel/Vionic sandals I have always worn a 9. The 9s were still the right length with this sandal. (Although the length is consistent with other Vionic thong sandals, I said "felt half size larger" because I normally wear a half size larger in other brands.)
- Regarding width, I'm normally between a Medium and a Wide. In regular shoes I can usually wear a Medium if I use a stretcher to widen the forefoot slightly. In sandals, a Medium usually works fine. All my Orthaheel and Vionic sandals are Medium. With these, the Wide footbed felt better; the Medium footbed was barely wide enough. The Wide also had a bit more room in the straps, but the Medium straps were still comfortable.
If you don't need as much arch/ankle support as the other/earlier Vionic sandals provide, you might appreciate these platform thongs as a stylish step up.

I love Vionic and own several pairs of sandals (mostly Tides). Love the arch support they provide and are my go to shoe year round (I wear Tide II’s with toe socks around the house in the winter too). I was eager to try the High Tide, as I am short (5’2”) and missing the lift that heels provide, but can’t wear heels any more due to capsulitis of the 2nd toe coupled with plantar fasciitis. I bought the High Tide in 7 Medium (my regular size) and I really like the way they look, however they just don’t quite feel stable and the straps seem a bit looser than the regular tides and they don’t feel quite wide enough to provide me with the peace of mind to walk for extended periods. I did not return them, but wear them infrequently, for these reasons. I was thinking perhaps a wide would provide better stability, but then the straps might be even looser. Maybe I will try an elevated Vionic with adjustable straps next.

I was looking for a more supportive flip flop and love my other Vionic's but this one didn't check all the boxes. The heels are a little too high and more stiff than the toes so bit of an awkward feel when walking. Returning them and will continue my search.

too narrow, which was a bummer because I own several pair without the heel and the width is fine. Now the wide width is unavailable and I'm not sure it would fit anyway.

I love the style, arch support, and extra cushioning of this shoe. I usually get the vionic tide II in medium width, which fits perfectly. However, on this style I ordered the wide width and it was even more narrow than the medium with of the tide II. Very disappointed and must return ??

I really wanted to love these. I have many Vionic sandals and swear by the brand. I tried both the regular width and then exchanged for wide which were still too narrow. Although these are called the "High Tide" the base seems to vary a great deal from the regular "Tide" which I love and own in multiple colors. Unfortunately, these are not the same sizing or as comfortable. These will be going back in favor of another regular "Tide" model. If you have a very narrow foot, these might be for you. Otherwise, try some of the other Vionic styles because most are awesome.Thank you to Zappos for making returns and exchanges so easy!

The sole is too high. No flexibility. I would like this with the regular Vionic sole. I want red flip flops but not these.

While I loved the look and the footbed of the sandal, my foot moved all over the place in these. The top straps are really loose which allows for so much movement and difficulty keeping them on your feet. The size was correct but in order to walk, I had to hang my toes over the front edge just to keep them somewhat in place. They are definitely made for a wider foot. I sent them back and will be ordering a different pair of Vionic sandals...love their arch support!

I really like the look of these shoes. And the comfort of the arch support was very good. But for me there was just too much "flip flop," making it uncomfortable to walk. I felt like the shoes might fall off. So back they go.

Nice support, but the hight and thin width made my feet roll - and I wear platform shoes a LOT. Otherwise, super-cute!

I really wanted to love these. I got the same size as the Tide 2 that I ordered last year thinking the fit would be the same. Wrong! These are really narrow and my little toes hang off the edge. The length is right as the arch support part fits on the correct area of my foot. Just odd sizing. I will try the wide size and see how that is.

i bought the red pair and while they have a thick cushioned sole, i'm still trying to like them. I've been wearing them around the house to get comfortable with them. I can't decide if i'm just not used to the slight height of the heel or if its the thick sole, or if its something else. The have a high arch as well - which usually doesn't bother me and i prefer that, but i'm just not loving these. Maybe they will break in over time as i want to love them... but its taking some time.
