I bought my usual size 8M and I felt they were too loose in the strap for my feet. If they had been flat flip flops, I wouldn't have cared. I was afraid these would not stay on my feet and I would trip.

I normally wear size 9 in vionic flip flops but these felt too small. I had to return them. Generally I find vionic flip flops to be great.

Love these! Vionic sandals are the best if you want orthopedic shoes. Other styles than sandals aren’t good but these are amazing

The fit was great but the base of the flip flop was a plastic material and my foot was sliding all over the place. Back they go.

I rarely wear flip flops since I need custom orthotics but I tried Vionic since their arch support is legendary. This particular pair, though, had too much support for me and wasn't as comfortable as a few other Vionics I tried. The outer strap also felt too wide. These will have to go back.

These were a bit rigid when I first put them on but as I walked around the house my feet fell into all the right support areas which I love so much about Vionic's sole design. I am looking forward to trying them out on a long errand day.

I'm an 8, and the size 8 in this shoe was too big; the strap was also loose across the top of my foot. The 7 was a better fit, probably closer to what I expect a 7.5 to be. But it's just a smidge too small. I wish these came in half sizes!

I love Vionic, only sandles I can wear everyday and not get plantar faciitis. I was not sure how the thick heel would fee since I have a back injury. It felt great and added a dressier look to the dandle. Will be wearing to my niece's Santa Barbara wedding by the beech! Only reason I did not give 5 stars was that the paten leather piece by the toes digs in just slightly due to its cut. It should have been shaped to the V instead of square. But i found I got used to it and will not be a real problem.

As other reviewers have mentioned, this sandal is more narrow and shorter than other Vionic flip flop styles. I have three pairs of Tides that fit great in a size 8. When these came, my foot was spilling over the edge, both in length and width. In a side-by-side comparison, with the Tide model, this footbed is noticeably more narrow throughout the toe area. And, the length was almost 1/2 inch shorter. I returned for a 9 WIDE, hoping it would work, with an increase in the width of the toebed. The length and toe area were better (lined up perfectly with my size 8 Tides), but the straps seemed looser on the top of my foot. I kept them because I loved the leopard style, but don't wear them as often as all my other Tides.

In some sandals I need a 7 1/2 but I ordered a 7 in this shoe and it was just right. The footbed is too hard and the arch too high to be comfortable for me so I am returning it.

Went down a size and fit great.

I love these sandals so much for comfort. Better than Birks en stuffs for my metatarsal issue. Comfortable like no other Now for the issue. The synthetic sole. My feet have never sweat so much! I'm not really even a sweaty person so I was a little surprised at that issue. I would give an overall 5 star if they were not so hot

Cute flip flop style shoe with a little heel so they feel dressier. Very comfortable & great arch support.

I have 8 pairs of Vionic thongs. I have had 5 foot surgeries and have wide toes and semi-narrow heels. these are my daily shoes as well as slippers for walking around house, standing in kitchen etc, on hard surfaced floors. I was excited to see that Vionic had finally come out with the wonderful support of the flip-flop but with a bit of a wedge that would be great for short dresses , skirts etc,and a bit cuter, but would still provide the support and comfort. I was soooo disappointed to find the toe area to be very narrow. My wider toes were hanging off the front and sides. So sad they have to be returned.

These are awesome. I love that they offer a little height to boot. They have great arch support, especially when I have very little.

I have the Vionic High Tide in black and navy blue. My typical shoe size is 6.5, sometimes 7 (average width.) In this particular shoe, the 6 wide was a perfect fit. The footbed was unusually narrow on the regular width, & my toes were "threatening" to creep over the edge. In all other Vionic sandals I wear a 6 regular. PROS: Love the added height because I'm 5' 2", they are incrediblely comfortable, have excellent arch support, and are quite stylish. I particularly like how the navy blue strap is slightly two-toned, with the center patent piece being a nice dark navy. CONS: The black pair which I've had the longest (little over a month) started to slightly come unglued where it attaches (lays flat) to the side of the sole. This wasn't a huge deal & was quickly/easily fixed with a dab of super glue. It was never close to detaching from the shoe because the strap follows all the way down & is fastened in between the bottom layers of the sole. However, for such a pricy sandal, I thought this detail was worth noting. OVERALL: I would say these sandals were a good purchase, and I would buy more in different colors. I'm a 36 year old elementary teacher who used to love & live in Volatile flip flops. After developing PF in my right foot, I very sadly had to get rid of all of them & have been slowly replacing with Vionic. I'm very grateful to have found this comparable orthotic brand which happens to be quite stylish. Vionics have made losing Volatiles less devastating for me. :-)

Casual, high flip flop that I will be wearing in Spring, Summer and Fall. So far, comfortable and more stylish than regular flip flops. I can't wear them to work but will wear often in my down time. I have a wide foot and the fit is just about right.

I'm going to try the "W" wide version of this platform sandal as the medium one was just too narrow. Because it was narrow, it made me feel like I was going to teeter over and fall. Not enough stability. But I love the design and the fact that it has Orthaheel technology AND it's a platform (not a flat).

Loved them so much I bought another pair in silver. I did size down because they are flip flops and they will stretch out.

I prefer "Cassandra" so sent them back. Just a matter of taste.

These are just not the right thing for my particular feet. My feet are flat with severe over-pronation. I am always looking for good support but the sole of these flip flops is extremely firm (read: hard) and the arch was too high to be comfortable. I have no doubt these work really well for certain types of feet but not for mine.

I love the shoe but they are too wide

Not a great feeling shoe in spite of many positive reviews. Grateful for Zappos' easy returns! I normally wear various Birkenstocks, and wanted to try the Bionic based on someone's recommendation. These have a rather hard, kinda heavy sole and not the type of "cradling' of the foot that I'm accustomed to, even in the PVA styles of Birks. I may try this brand again, but in a different style.
