Super cute but the band is huge. I bought 2 pair last summer and wore them daily and they are only slightly stretched out but still wearable. The band on the cork high tide is so big they must have used an elephant for the model. Another example of the lack of quality control. You simply never know what size you will wear. It varies from style to style and even color to color. Usually great shoes but often unwearable. They do, however, continue to amaze me with their ability to make their expensive shoes look cheap. On the cork, they have STAMPED Vionic. Yes a stamp. Imagine PAID stamped on a piece of paper or SECOND on a discounted product. Yes, that stamp. Absurd. Just when you think Vionic is getting stylis - ish, they do something like this. 3 stars because the strap is so large they can’t be worn, though when they fit, they are a great shoe.

Anatomical footbed with a very high arch support that was not comfortable.Felt like walking on a lump.Too bad because I otherwise liked the style

My tendonitis flared up wearing these so watch out! I only wear them once in awhile now.

They really aren't very comfortable. I probably should have returned them. The original Orthoheel sandals are so very much better made.

This shoe ran a little big for me. It seems wide. I am usually a 9-1/2 and ordered a 10 in this model based on other reviews. I also ordered the Tide in a size 9 and that fits perfectly.

Shoes were cute but not wide enough so I had to return them. Disappointed!

I have been wearing Fit Flops for years, but recently my knee was hurting so I wanted to try something with an arch support.It's only been 3 days, but wearing these to go to the mall made a difference in less knee pain. However, they have a very different feel as far as feeling the arch under foot where you may not have felt it before. It is very firm which is probably why the knee pain let up. The vamp straps across the top of the foot hurt a little, so I'm hoping they give a little with wear. I also have fibro, so my feet generally hurt, but if these grow a little more relaxed for me, I'll edit this post.

These felt comfortable enough, but the footbed is extremely slippery. When I walked around in the house in them, it felt like my foot was sliding in the shoe.

I was disappointed. The shoe is cute, but the arch supports are all wrong for me. I have a high instep with occasional bouts of plantar faciitis. So I look for sandals with good support. The straps are vinyl which cuts across my foot. The arch supports are actually too high and extremely hard. I put on one shoe and immediately took it off because it hurt too much. I initially bought 2 pair, in different colors; but back they go!

I found the straps to be very stiff when I first got them, but I liked them enough to keep them. I've been wearing them and the comfort is improving, not enough to be 4 stars yet, though. There doesn't seem to be as much room between the bed of the sandal and the strap as there is on other thong type sandals. The fabric between the toes is comfortable, and I do like the footbed. I also like the height of the platform.

I bought the High Tide in the patent leopard print. Loved the style but the sizing is weird. I have bad feet - need arch support and my feet tend to be wide. It was suggested that you order the wide width if you want the original Vionic fit. To be safe I ordered both the medium width and wide width and neither fit very well. The medium was a bit narrow and my toes felt like they were sort of hanging over the sides. The wide fit better in the footbed, but the thong straps were too loose so that my foot didn't feel secure. They blew it on this one. Wide doesn't need to be both wider and deeper. The wide footbed with the thong straps of the medium would have been a perfect fit for me.

Love the look of this shoe, with the height of a wedge heel. I really respect the Vionic brand as well. But this shoe did not meet my needs. The sole was too soft and "squished" at the heels, and coupled with the (admittedly awesome) arch support, that left me feeling constantly off-balance. I also hated the look of the oblique rounded toe when it was on my foot, and it was too long in the toe. I'm returning these.

Addendum to my original review which was for a pair in white. I also got the black and it was really weird, but they fit nothing like the white ones! The footbed surface felt oddly slippery and the straps were loose and so my feet were kind of swimming around. I had to return them. I had ordered the exact same size as the white ones which fit just fine and I have in fact worn them a few times quite happily.

this shoe ran loose and I was not liking the pitch. For me it was big and the arch support threw me off. Sorry

Love Love Love this flip flop. The "moderate" arch is perfect for me. This shoe arch is not as high as the traditional Vionic shoe--but that is the reason I like it much more. As I do like Vionic shoes, the other Vionics tend to be a tad bit too much for me and I cannot wear them all day. It does run big. I am normally a 7. I could probably have worn a 6 1/2, but since there are only whole sizes I ordered a 6. It fits perfectly! The High Tide is very light weight and extremely cushy! Buying other colors!!!

I've consistently bought this shoe in all colors but the straps have changed and are SO LARGE NOW. I can't wear them anymore so...wrong move for me!

This is one of the most uncomfortable shoes I ever put on. It was like walking on cement. I ordered a size 9 and it was too small. I would not recommend.

There is something weird about the black version of this sandal. A couple years ago I ordered the white and the black. The white were great. I wore the heck out of them. The black felt loose and slippery, like the surface was something different than the white ones. I knew I would never be comfortable in them, and I wear these for comfort (I’m a longtime Orthaheel customer back to the original and far superior Tides), so I returned them. Eventually the white ones started to get dirty and I decided to get new ones. I thought, well, maybe those black ones were some kind of factory mistake—why would they be so different—and decided to give them another try. And lo and behold, nope, same thing. New white ones are great, black ones are loose and slippery. What the heck?? Am I the only ones who notices this? I’m really bummed because if the black ones worked, they would be a staple of my summer wardrobe. I’m wondering about the other colors too, though I really just need the basic white and black neutrals and am not all that interested in a fashionable flip flop (I’ll save my fashion for a really nice comfortable sandal I only wear occasionally). Boo-hoo, I want my black Vionic High Tide for when the white ones don’t look right. Errrr. (Can you tell—this is a customer review version of throwing a fit.) Vionic—what gives??

These were hard as a rock when I put my feet into them and had to return them.

Ordered these in W width. Felt more narrow than a M width! Back they go, and I thought they were so cute :(

I should have listened to the other reviewers and ordered a wide. my big toe hung off the side. sending back...

I wear a medium width and love Vionic shoes, but there were too wide for me to even walk in them.

I have a wide, hard to shop for, foot. Although this shoe fit, it did not feel comfortable on foot.

These were so cute BUT a seam on the underside of the strap actually cut my foot on a short walk from our hotel room to the pool.
