Good sun hat with great coverage. I wish the brim stayed in place more firmly when I push it up in the back to avoid interference with a pack, on the sides, etc. It's pretty nerdy looking, like some kind of Jumanji safari hat, but I didn't buy it for its stylistic qualities.

I gave this as a gift to my neighbors, one for the husband and one for the wife. They really liked the hats. The hat I got for the husband was extra large; I guessed the size. He's 6 feet and a big man. The hat was too large, but he used the draw string to tighten it, but it still looked too big on him. I offered to return it, but he said it was fine and he'd wear it. He didn't. He gifted the hat to his grandson to fish in, and his 7-year-old grandson was delighted with it, even though it was too big for him. The wife said she loves her hat and wears it fishing. I gave her a medium, and it fit her perfectly.

Excellent coverage, with the brim wider at the back helping to protect the back of your neck from the sun. The brim holds its shape nicely, and it feels very secure so it's ideal in the wind.

This was a gift for my son - here is what he said about the hat: I have had trouble with hats shrinking after a wash. The hat fits great, and it helped me avoid sunburn on the camping trip, but I won't really be impressed unless it fits after I wash it. I'm trying to keep it clean as long as possible, because I like it.

I use this hat all year round out in the Greater Everglades. Most of the time we are out all day long checking remote cameras for the fStop Foundation in some very tough conditions and this hat is a tremendous tool for me. Keeps the sun off me extremely well, protects from the rain, and breathes extremely well. This is my second OR hat and I will continue to buy them and use them!

I've worn a lot of hats over the years, but on a hot summer day there's no other hat but this. Excellent sun protection, but doesn't make your head super hot. It's amazing how well the hat ventilates.

I own two of these hats. Simply the best I have ever used. I have 20 years as a fishing guide and this is my go to on the boat. Excellent coverage.

Hat is large enough to keep the sun off my neck; working all day at my duck club in 105 degree heat this hat is the ticket !

I really like this cap. Lightweight with a large brim. Wear it a lot when outdoors in sunny conditions.

My daughter took a trip to S. America and needed a hat. So she took mine. I needed another for my golf and other activities in the sun. It keeps the sum off my face and neck.

I have not found any other head apparel that is better.

Used for hiking, been using it for hiking in the eastern WA sun. The hat breathes well and has a nice adjustment to custom fit to your head size.

Being in central Texas know a bit about needing protection from the sun. Hat is light to wear and comfortable. Particularly like that the brim is wider in the back to keep the sun off of the neck. Venting does a good job and prevents the crown from turning into a Turkish bath. Nice work OR.

Finally found a functional, cool, and good-looking hat for the swelter of Laguna Madre and summer Chesapeake fishing.

I own four of these hats. Two I have had for years. They are large enough to fit my head when most women's hats are too small. They pack flat in a suit case. I have taken them on birding trips and wear them in the garden on walks and at the beach.

Love the style and the wide brim. I feel prorected wearing the product. This is my third one and I wear it mostly to paint outdoors. I asked for a new one for my birthday because my others have oil paint on them. It does get hot but still worth the coverage.

great product. Keeps your head cool in the hot weather and keeps the sun off your face and neck. Fit as described. Keeps it's shape despite being thrown in the garden bag.

Wear it 3 to 4 times a week while racing rc sailboats or planes. The most comfortable hat I've ever owned. Now looking for another one.

I use it for sun protection playing golf and it's the most comfortable, well designed hat I've ever owned. I'm going to order another one so one is always available when the other is being washed.

I've been an OR fan since the 80s when I bought a goretex Seattle Sombrero that lasted over ten years I live at 7k above sea level 9.5 plus UV index daily the sombriolet is perfect protection adequate ventilation not the best but fit finish and style are un equaled got caught in a hail storm was grateful for the large brim ...
