I can't blame it all on the shoes because I have a really bad bunion...but I still don't think the sole was wide enough and I hoped they would be because Dansko is supposed to run wider. I just wish Brands would start making stylish sandals/shoes in what are really wide widths. I know this was marked a Medium, but I took a chance. Had to send them back.

A bit stodgy looking, but ok. Fit my skinny foot fairly well. I didn't like the odd texture on the sides of the sole. I got the Pewter Napa color and the sides were speckled and slightly bumpy. I know it was intended, but it looked almost like rain spots.

Unfortunately these did not work for me....the right shoe was ok but the left shoe felt almost a full size larger. My right foot is larger than my left but the difference was obvious. I also have a very high arch (and a knobby bone on the top of my foot). The cross strap hit me at the wrong spot. Had to return them which is too bad because they are cute shoes.

The leather is extremely soft and the heel & sole are very shock-absorbing. These shoes are comfortable from the first moment, requiring no "break-in" time. I can wear them for hours.

Dansko Vera Shoes could use a little More arch support. I have four pairs and if you had other colors I would surely buy them.

This is my back-up pair of black Vera sandals. I have them also in red, oyster and pewter. Super comfortable.

Fantastic shoes. Gr4eat looking and comfortable. This is my second pair. Walked through Prague whole day for days. I have 9.5 size and I am buying now one size down.

The fit and size was perfect for my feet. I have a bunion. It wrapped right around it. The velcro strap makes it so easy to get on and off quickly. The peep toe is so feminine. The wedge sole is so comfortable. Ahh....the arch support is great! These shoes are awesome!

I love Danskos and this pair did not disappoint!

Love the simple design and color of this sandal. The heel is low enough to be comfortable and high enough to look a bit dressy and stylish. Fair arch support for high arches and comfortable for walking. I got these for dressier occasions and though they are comfortable, they are not for long walks.

These are beautiful shoes. I wear a 9M and these are true to size. I need a M width but with a bit on the wide side. These work well. The pewter is a great color and goes with anything! Thinking about the red ones to purchase too.

These shoes are beautiful! The pewter color goes with everything, from casual to dressy. I needed a shoe that's a medium but a bit wide. And this shoe fit exactly that. I wear a true 9M and most mediums I tried were a bit too narrow. I guess I forgot that I had Danskos in my closet and pulled out a 39 and that was the perfect size. Comfort without a doubt and style too.

These shoes did not need any breaking in! The simple lines make it be work for a dressier look. Only complaint is the white line around the sole's edge. Might take a Sharpie to it!

These sandals are structured enough, they feel like they will look good and last for a longtime but also feel soft and supple against my skin. I’m prone to blisters and these didn’t rub at all. They are so super comfortable too, and have just the right amount of platform to keep my feet from getting dusty walking down the street. I like the way they look, I can even wear them at the office and still look professional and cute but comfortable enough to take a walk and get my steps in during the day. My husband wore Danskos when he was in culinary school, and recommended them many times, but these Dansko sandals are my first Dansko purchase for myself, and I’m in love. Also, I’ve gotten a ton of compliments from colleagues.

Love this shoe, wish it came in more than a few colors. They improved the strap so it’s more comfortable, I have silver and black.

Just what I was looking for- love the style, comfortable for someone with foot problems. Love the color for fall. Had to return for a smaller size though, but there was no problem with the return process as usual.

Great shoes and super comfy!

Love these shoes! They arrived just in time for me to wear them to a garden reception party. They feel like I'm wearing bedroom slippers, but they looked more formal than a lot of the other footwear at the party. And I didn't sink into the grass with narrow heels or end up shifting foot to foot like so many others there are a few hours of standing. Shortly after, I took them as my shoes on a Caribbean cruise - they were perfect there, too. Great for long walks around the port cities, versatile, and again formal enough to wear with a dress for dining on the boat. Perfect.

This sandal is exactly what I wanted; peek a boo toe, slight heel and straps. I bought this pair instead of the Born style I have worn before as it feels more stylish. I wear a 9M - 9.5M and size 40 feels a bit loose but I know from experience that 39 will be too small. I can adjust the ankle strap and it feels secure. I plan to wear the shoes with shorts and ankle length pants.

I was looking for a comfortable and versatile shoe that looked classic for a upcoming trip to Italy. Dansko Vera was comfortable right out of the box. In fact so comfortable, I ordered them in the black as well. I wear size 8, they fit true to size.

I'm excited! My pewter color shoes arrived and fit! They don't look chunky either! The fit is wonderful and they are very soft. The height of the heel makes them perfect for just about everything I wear. Capri's, pants, skirts and even a casual dress. I have a slightly wide foot so the width is perfect as is the length. The pewter is stunning and the sort of pebble look on the heel is pretty too. I love these shoes and hope in the future Dansko will be making them is a lot more colors. I'd love to see navy or mulberry!

I love these shoes. I have a nerve issue with one foot so need a shoe that does not put pressure on the side of the foot at the ball. This means I often go for a wide though I am not. If your foot has a narrow heel and you want width at the front these are for you. In shoes (sandals) as opposed to sneakers I average a size 7.5. The 38 fit very well, even a touch long. This is a good shoe to wear when you need something professional (not showing all your toes) but are in hot weather. Highly recommend it. I'm down to rockports, born, dansko and brooks as the only brands that I can wear all day. Hope this helps you.
