Love this shoe, very comfortable, but runs small. I usually wear size 8, but am wearing a 9 in these.

Good shoes but I agree with the other reviews that say to order 1/2 size larger. These do have good arch support. I am returning them, however, because I liked the Ryka Dash 2 even better -- they also good support but are lighter on the feet, plus these Merrell make my feet look like boats. For long walks or light hiking, I think the Merrell Siren Sport Q2 would be great, but I am looking for something for daily wear.

I have had foot surgery and one foot fits shoes different than the other. This is the first shoe that accommodated all my needs. I have been able to wear them from the moment that I put them on with no problems. Even though this style is not water proof, I have worn them in snow ( we have 6 foot on the level) and my feet have stayed dry. I'm ordering another pair today.

This style runs short.

I love Merrells so much I bought these in 2 colors to go with everything. I walked over 5 miles the first time I put them on. This pair and a brown pair will take their first big adventure to the Swiss Alps next month.

I try other boots but keep coming back to Merrell. The fit is perfect for me and they have great support. I have walked hundreds of miles in my Merrells, city, suburbs, and country. They have carried me to hundreds of vacations around the world.

I'm on my feet all day at work , and as an Amputee care and support of my remaining foot is a priority , these Merrell's are just a cute as they look and they have the support and comfort that I need

I love these shoes. My first time trying a Merrell, fell in love with the color and style. Fit perfect, no break in period.

First let me say - These are lovely shoes. But sadly they are a bit short and the heel is just a bit higher than I can tolerate. Usually I put Merrells on and go, but not these. So sad 'cause I really wanted to keep them!

I did not try these shoes on as I did not like the color. They are brown, even though they are described as "slate black".

I have to agree with the critical review that mourned the "retirement" of the old Siren Sport. These new ones are short in the toe box, so I resorted to the next size up which is a little too loose in the heel. On the other hand I love the arch, which supports my flatter-than-flat feet, and saves my back from aching. The new style does make one's feet look bigger (especially in the very blue blue) as there is a minimum of darker colored detailing (unlike the old Siren style!). I resorted to adding dark shoelaces to break up the blank space, but the front still makes the foot look large. Oddly, the Siren Edge I last purchased worked for me in a size 8.5 -a roomier toe box I suppose. On the other hand the plastic "3D" decoration started peeling off pretty quickly.

I have very narrow feet so these were way too wide! Too bad because I really liked the way they look and they are very well made.

I haven’t decided on these yet — it depends on how they feel with an insert. The wide is pretty good on my feet, which are between a medium and a wide. The cushioning on the sole is decidedly weird though; the outside is just plain uncomfortable. And the cushioning is not exactly comfy. Also, the size that fit me better in length also had an uncomfortable thing bracing the outside of one foot (near the arch) in spite of being a wide. So I had to go up a half size. They are sort of nice-looking though.

Thought I would like these because I like Merrell since they tend to have good arch support. Found that they didn't have a wide enough toe box for my comfort and that my feet slid to the front and squished my toes - so I could tell these would not work for hiking and going downhill.

Too narrow but wide is too large. Great looking shoes though.

I liked the way this shoe looked, and the sale price was terrific, but in the end I didn't keep them. Merrill's are always good quality and the shoe was cut well for my wide feet, and overall was really comfortable. Quite lightweight and good for summer. But there's not much support or cushioning so it feels a lot like wearing a sneaker, and I was looking for a lightweight day-hiker. This just wasn't going to work so in spite of overall comfort and quality I had to send it back.

They ran too small for me. I’m keeping the ASICS brand sneakers in the same size/width but the Merrell’s definitely run small.

Had to send back for larger size. Love the look! Hoping the 10 will fit. 1/2 size up from "regular" size

I've had other Merrill Siren Sport and they were so comfortable and fit well. The last two pair I've tried seem to run small. I don't like having my toes touch the end when I walk so I'm returning these. I like the durability, comfort and styles of Merrill but wish they would make them true to size.

great shoe, too bad it doesn't come in narrow. It will have to go back.

If you have wide feet, these will still be a little tight in the toebox. I compromised because it seems so hard to find wide width hiking shoes that aren't wildly expensive, but these aren't really a true wide width. Very rigid back, which l'm not used to; possible blister alert. Also, the slate black is not black by any stretch of the imagination. They're brown. The shoes aren't bad; I may like them better as I wear them more.
