I had another pair of Merrell Moabs bought 4 years ago and absolutely loved them. It was time to buy another pair - where else to go but Zappos? I've hiked in Yosemite, Switzerland, Shenandoah, the Carolinas, Colorado, and Italy in these shoes. I can't imagine wearing anything else. I wore my new shoes on a 6 mile walk the day after I bought them - there's literally no break-in time. If you're looking at Zappos, you likely know about their flawless customer service and delivery. I'm never happier than when I order from this company, because I know my order will come promptly and any return issues are dealt with quickly.

Fit perfectly on my W to WW feet. Sturdy and provides good support. I was worried about the color (smoke) but am pleasantly surprised with them in person. I love the fit and felt comfortable from the first time I put them on.

love these so much! the toe area does feel big but that's ok. recommend these for anyone? who does hiking!

This is my second pair of Merrill Moab's. They feel great on my hard to fit feet. The style is different from my first pair, but still attractive and extremely comfortable.

I buy a new pair of Merrell Moabs a couple of times a year and it my primary footwear so I hold these shoes in very high regard. After surgery to fuse a big toe, I need a shoe with a large toe box and this shoe (even in medium width) provides lots of wiggle room. This particular pair seems to be a little bit larger than other Moabs... not enough to size down but still a little looser. The smoke color is pleasant enough. I wish there was a different color palette for Moabs.
