The shoes are great for walking through all kinds of yuck. I travel for my job and am constantly going inside and then out to my vehicle. These look decent enough for work and have great traction so I don't have to carry a second pair of shoes for my inside work.

This is, indeed, the mother of all boots. This boots fits to size, wide width fit is very comfortable. No need to break them in at all. Very impressed with the grip and feel when walking and hiking. I would highly recommend these! Can't wait for summer hikes in these babies!

I find it difficult to find shoes that fit properly. These fit right out of the box. Love them !!

I was fitted once upon a time and when I ordered these they fit me perfectly. I wish I could get the boot version for winter in Canada as well. I've had these for two years and they are still going strong and I hike regularly. I wish there were more wide styles available.

Comfortable and look great!

Purchased these shoes and was very happy with them! Fit is great, comfortable on my feet for all day walking on concrete floors. Wider at the toe area which was perfect for me!

The Merrell 2 MOAB Ventilator is an excellent hiking shoe - sturdy, stylish and comfortable. I ordered a 6.5 which turned out true to size, but I need to go half size up for a more comfortable fit. I would recommend if you do light to medium hiking and are looking to upgrade from running/gym shoes!

Have had my best loved casual shoes going on 8 years. In spite of miles of use, they continue to provide ultimate protection, comfort, and still look great! Can wear all day like in a theme park and feet dont get tired or sore. Great traction for hiking. Good quality, well made and durable. Highly recommend!

I just bought these recently and I basically love everything about them. There's snow on the ground here and they have kept my feet nice and dry. I haven't gone on any hikes yet wearing them yet, but there's enough room in them for good hiking socks. In case you couldn't tell, I love them!

Extra roomy wide width excellent quality excellent support

I bought these shoes for my wife. She had a similar pair that she has worm for the last 6 years. They are worn out and we have been waiting for a long time for this shoe to be available in her size. She says the shoe is a little bigger than the first pair despite being the same size. She also does not understand why the wide widths are so hard to come by. her foot is actually not that big. She thinks most people wear shoes that are too tight. She tested them on our 12 day cruise where we walk at least 4 miles every day. She loves the new shoes.

This shoe was comfortable from the first wearing! It has very good grip on rocks and other typical hiking surfaces. Excellent waterproofing on low levels of water. Good arch support. Only minor problem is the shoelaces, they are slippery and often need to be re-tied. Otherwise a great shoe,

I love the new MOAB 2. I was so excited when they came out with the wide widths in the MOAB 2; however, I did find the MOAB 2 low hiker 7W to be too big. The regular MOAB 2 low hiker is just perfect. However, I found I needed the MOAB 2 7W mid hiker. The MOAB 2 has lots of room in the toe box and feel very comfortable. They are even better than the previous renditions. As with the previous versions, they were comfortable right out of the box. I am using this pair mainly for hiking, but the MOABs have been my go-to shoe since at least early 2007. I bought my first pair the year they were first produced. Now, they are the only shoe I wear unless I have to get dressed up (like never), it's summer and I'm wearing sandals, or I'm on a strenuous hike and I'm wearing my MOAB 2 boots. NOTE: If you have a narrow foot, this may not be the shoe for you.

I'm a 10 wide woman's. They fit perfectly and no need to wear them in. I was able to go for a long walk the first time wearing them without any blisters or sore feet. The only issue I have is they squeak a bit.
