This is my first pair of hiking shoes. There are very comfortable and have enough room on the front for your toes. My first hike with these shoes were hiking on stonewall trail in Cuyamaca,CA. Dirt, loose soil, rocks, and some climbing. They performed great, and were very comfortable along the hike. I would recommend this to anyone. I'm thinking about getting the boot version.

Merrill shoes have never failed me. I can buy a new pair, take and wear them on a week long vacation with no issues.

This pair is the sixth pair I have owned. I wear them everywhere, not just hiking.

This shoe is remarkably light and comfortable. If there is one improvement I would make it would be a slightly more cushioned insole. Overall it is a good looking shoe.

Got these and hoped they would fit. Turns out they are amazing. I recommend them to anybody looking for a breathable hiking shoe.

I bought this for my son, it looks very nice and sturdy, better than I expected. My son loves it, it is true to size, fits perfect. Very please.

Comfortable and priced right

This is my fourth pair of Moabs. I need the wide widths, and they are very comfortable, and long lasting.

I'm on my feet all day and needed a comfortable pair of sneakers. These past my expectations. They are very comfortable and make it feel like your walking on air. Great purchase.

I've been using this shoe for walking long distances on a regular basis for a number of years. Just ordered a new pair. Best support for a larger man and comfortable for various uses other than walking.

I bought these after I already had the Moab2 Mid Waterproof.(I love those boots!) These were comfortable right out of the box. The sole does seem to be a bit less flexible than the sole on my Moab 2 Mid Waterproof and my Moab2 Mid Gore-Tex though. That is a minor issue-the shoe looks good, is comfortable and has held up well to the abuse I have put them through. I did treat them with Merrell waterproofing spray to make them somewhat water resistant as a precaution but have not had the opportunity to test whether that was effective. The quality is first rate and they show no wear after a lot of miles. If you're reading this review while contemplating purchasing Merrell hiking boots, I will tell you that you can't go wrong with these products. The boots are truly comfortable right out of the box, product support is great and you'll get a lot of trouble free miles out of them.

I was pleasantly surprised by this shoe. I was looking for a good wide width hiking shoe and I also suffer with occasional flare-ups of foot pain/plantar fascitis (PF). A lot of cushioning and a soft sole tend to be most helpful for my PF. The M2VWW fit and felt great right out of the box. The shoe does not have as much cushioning as I had hoped for, but does have a shock-absorbing air cell (?) built into the heel of the sole. Also, the sole is rather stiff and is not soft. However, even with a couple of negatives, the shoes felt so good and comfortable I decided to give them a try out. I used the stadium of a local college for a training session, constantly going up and down the concrete steps of the stadium for a little over 30 minutes. I was very pleasantly surprised by the comfort and lack of any foot pain throughout and after my training session. They are definite keepers for me! Keep up the good work Merrill!

Great shoes for dog walking in the MN elements. Fashionable enough for business casual at work. Wicked comfy. I'm getting another pair as a backup.

Most comfortable, longest lasting shoes I've found. This is the 3rd pair I've purchased. Will definitely buy again. Please don't discontinue these shoes!

These shoes work great for winter dog walking and are not too casual looking so can be worn to business casual workplaces.

I have not had the chance to wear my "new" Merrell's. I expect them to be as comfortable and supportive as the ones I have now and have previously owned. This is the first time I choose this color scheme (gray and red).
