The Moab 2 vents are the best hiking shoes on the market! I have four pairs and wear them daily. Out on the trails in Idaho also out on the boat and in the office.

The only shoes my husband will wear! Has 2 pairs for work and 1 for dress.

I have been wearing moab shoes for years now. Ive had many many pairs. They fit well, and they tend to last for a long time. I motorcycle, bicycle, hike, walk the dog, and offroad in them, wear them to work, apart from house slippers or boots for mud, they are my primary shoe. Ive had some where the rubber became smooth on the bottom. Others where the toe box unglued from the rest of the shoe or had rips in the sides develop. One pair failed in a particularly annoying way and I warrantied the shoe wity Merrel and they replaced the shoes no questions asked. Shoes are wear items, they dont last forever, and my experience shows me that as long as you dont have a physical problem they just keep going. My #1 biggest complaint is they just get smelly/fungusy and there doesn't really exist any product to fix that. I usually change my insoles when this starts to happen and that buys me another few months of toleration, but it isn't fool proof.

i like it for walking around any places it is very conferrable

This is the 5th pair of Moab 2 Ventilators that I have purchased. They are a great all-around shoe for hiking and general use. It is well-made, attractive, and very comfortable. I buy one pair every year, and it lasts the whole year, although I do coat the heel with Shoe-Goo after about six months.

I been buying merrell for years best shoe made they are solid shoes they lasted me 3 yrs. Wearing every day dont fall a part true to size very comfortable

Had Merrell's equivalent of this shoe for the last 10+ years and loved it. I wore it everywhere, every day. It was used hard in rain, snow, mud and heat. It spent the last 5 years in the Arizona desert climate. My wife finally got me to look for new Merrell shoes. These feel great and it appears that they will be the same quality as my last pair which i am still wearing because there is really nothing wrong with them.

The Moab 2 Ventilator is very supportive and breathable with an excellent traction Vibram sole. I have worn it on roofing jobs, as a ferry operator climbing over bulwarks and up and down engine room ladders, and on hikes in the mountains of the North Cascades.

My Moab 2 boots will be going to The Cove Palisades State Park in May!

Fit is true to size with a roomy toe box. I used them on a few rocky sections of the AT in PA and they performed well. They have improved greatly after a few hikes. Traction is good and they look great. My only dislike is they don't have the locked in feel of a trail running shoe like Salomon but that is not what they are designed for. You can't go wrong with this very comfortable hiker. Great to wear out casually, for work or hiking. Merrell - DO NOT CHANGE AND RUIN THIS SHOE LIKE OTHER BRANDS DO.

I have been wearing these shoes since 2005 (I think I am on my 7th pair). I have never had a better fitting, more comfortable shoe. Great for hiking and everyday wear.

Super light shoes and great for walking all over Italy!!! Very comfortable.

Perfect fit. Worked well for trail hikes in Sedona, the Grand Canyon south rim and Antelope Canyon, AZ.
