I've been wearing Merrill shoes since 2010 as an Overseas Military Contractor and they have always held up to the austere enviroment. I wouldn't wear anything else.

These are by far my favorite shoes. Rugged and comfortable.

Great low hiker! Gripped wet, muddy, rock in the Adirondacks of NY. Third time I have purchased this Merrell.

I have worn Merrell for over twenty five years. I am changing careers and find nothing that can be worn as a nursing shoe. A huge market but shoe wise very limited . Desko aren't not comfortable but meet waterproof slip proof criteria. Fun colors!

These are perfect shoes for someone with foot problems. I tried several other manufacturers before discovering how great this shoe is.

First time wearing this Merrell brand of shoes and can honestly say it's the most comfortable shoe I have ever worn, right out the box! Excellent traction on multiple surfaces, and arch support is perfect. I never realized how much I needed this arch support until I wore these shoes. Overall construction seems to be great, and I really like the snug padding around the ankle opening which adds more support and comfort. The heel cushioning is perfect, and the overall feel is extremely stable. I also love the high padded tongue. Shoes are lightweight, breathable, and seem durable for everyday wear. Definitely would highly recommend this shoe, and I'm ordering another pair in another color now! Also, I tried on multiple pair at the store before purchase, and find the sizing to be pretty spot on; however, I opted to go with a half size larger to accommodate different sock thicknesses. Great shoe!

Very comfortable walking shoes. I go about 3 miles each morning on a mixture of pavement and trails. Good support and cushioning on all surfaces.

The shoes arrived yesterday and I took them to the Wind River Mountains today. The 12 mile hike covered various terrain from low altitude sage brush to alpine tree line to open meadow above tree line. The trail had everything from mud to late spring snowpack, along with the typical rocky mountain debris. The Moab 2 Ventilator handled it all with much more comfort and support than the North Face hiking shoes they replaced. They look good too. I highly recommend these shoes for hikers of all levels

Fit like I have worn them for years. No break-in required.

Just recently received the Moab 2. Shoe fits great, with wide widths. I wear the shoes mostly working as a male nurse, on my feet all day. the shoe feels great on my feet, roomy and great arch support. I plan on a second pair to hike with.

I bought these shoes for my husband. He ia on his feet all day on concrete. He works for the Dept of Corrections. He absolutely loves these shoe!!!! Worth every penny we paid for them!!!

My "go to" shoes and the color choices are nice to have.

My husband loves them. I have a similar model of Merrill hiking shoes too. As seasoned hikers, we both were concerned about not having the ankle support of hiking boots. I have liked Columbia hiking boots in the past. But these have the advantage of being lighter weight and easy to break in. With hiking boots that come up around the ankle, I usually end up having to cut out a hole from the foam liner for my ankle or else it presses and hurts my ankle bone badly. These are comfortable out of the box. No break-in time. They'll be easier pack in a suitcase than hiking boots and more comfortable to wear on a plane. They aren't waterproof, but they're breathable and will dry out quickly. Haven't tested out water resistance yet as we're mostly desert hikers. Shipping took five business days to southern CA.
