I love Merrill shoes for their quality, sturdiness and longevity. This is the second pair of this shoe and I knew they would be perfect the minute I put them on. I always buy a half size larger than with a dress shoe to accommodate an orthotic. The toe box is roomy so that my bunion and hammer toe are not an issue. The weight of this shoe is just right, sturdy but not too heavy. I have worn them on the wet trails in the woods near my house. My feet have been dry and comfortable at all times. I am glad I paid a bit more for the waterproof version of this shoe.

A great shoe with good support. But I have a hammer toe that arches behind the mesh (moving toward where the laces are) where the leather crossband occurs, and it presses painfully on my toe. So I can’t wear these shoes, unfortunately.

I ordered up 1/2 size and ordered a wide width. Fit was fine. Roomy toebox. Sole provides good traction. Relatively lightweight shoes that work well with my plantar fasciitis. Great for walking the dogs. Many hiking/trail shoes do not come in wide widths, so I am very thankful for these.

I bought these to have a comfortable, waterproof shoe for a trip I am taking. Comfortable and not too heavy.

I originally ordered this shoe in my usual size 10 and thought it would be fine, but tried them on again when my feet were swollen at the end of the day and found they were too short. I ordered the 10.5 and found they fit great. Usually when I go up half a size in shoes there is heel slippage but I had no problem with this. I need a generous toe box, have a narrow heel and a high instep and felt these fit the best after trying Keen’s and Ahnu’s. I wore them hiking yesterday on pavement, dirt and sand and found them to be more supportive than my old Merrell’s very comfortable. The falcon color is also more of a light grey than a beige and looks nice with my stone and grey hiking pants.

Loved this shoe! I'm kind of hard to please and these are real good. Like that they're soft inside too.

I love these shoes and they really are waterproof. I ordered a half size up after reading comments and they fit perfectly. I really appreciated all the help customer service at Zappos gave to me to help me find the right shoe. My feet have grown wider as I age and the W width makes my feet feel great again.

I needed a shoe to replace another pair of Merrill's which had worn out after several year (no loner waterproof and overall it was time). Couldn't find the exact style but very happy with this one! I am out with my dog in every kind of weather and terrain and have found this to be sturdy, stable, comfortable and waterproof. Haven't walked through streams or been in a downpour yet but through lots of puddles and long, wet grass and sock were dry! Hooray! I ordered a 9 1/2 which is my go to size and fit perfectly. 10 would have been too big. I need a shoe with a wider toe box because of a bunion and these fit me right away, no problem, no pain. The sole was a little more stiff perhaps than I would have expected (last style not quite as stiff) but think that will serve me well over time since I need a sturdy 'base' and I'll be that becomes less noticeable with more. Definitely a thumbs up!

Many people said this shoe ran small, but I ordered my usual size 10 and it was fine for me with a regular athletic sock. The toe box is roomy and the heel fits snugly and comfortably. Also feels more supportive than my last pair of Merrell’s. Haven’t hiked in them yet but think they will work great.

I'm generally a size 7, but these shoes hurt my toes within a couple of hours of wearing them. I love the style and feel otherwise. I'm ordering up a full size.

I bought these to wear in Alaska because I was expecting rain. It didn't rain on that trip but it poured on a wildflower tour here in Montana. They kept my feet dry through a downpour and lots of mud on the trail. These boots are very sturdy and provide great support.

I love the look and comfort of the Merrill Moab 2. I read the reviews before I made my purchase and made the decision to go up a half size to an 8 and a half. With socks the shoes are comfortable for walking on paths or on the beach. The drizzle/mint color is attractive. I'm very pleased with my purchase.

I've been trying to replace some old Merrell Siren Sports for some time. The updated Siren didn't fit. This shoe is a good replacement. A little clunkier perhaps but it works. I have pretty flat feet so no detectable arch support is fine by me. I normally wear a narrow and finding narrow hiking shoes is just about close to impossible. These medium width work especially given they are lace ups. A bit narrower in the heel would have been good but these are fine. In some Merrell's I've worn a 7.5 in others my normal 8 so sizing does vary. For this model they are true to size.

I wore these every day on a week long trip to Iceland. They kept my feet dry and were comfortable from the start. I usually wear an 8.5M or 8.0W. Went with 8.5W based upon reviews. I was able to wear thicker socks for the cooler weather. They were comfortable out of the box. No break-in needed.

I really loved these. They ran small - I have other Merrell shoes in an 8 that fit fine but I needed to size up to an 8.5. I can't wait to try the new ones because I think they will be perfect.
