I searched high and low for comfortable, supportive, well made shoes and finally found it in these Moab's. I have a tendon issue in my right foot which will need surgery soon and up until now, every shoe I have worn, even my shoes with my orthotics, have hurt my feet. But these Moab's 2 shoes are great! No pain while wearing them or after I take them off. The only negative thing about these shoes are, the shoe strings, come untied a lot.

I bought this shoe for the support for a vacation where a lot of walking was expected. The product delivered the support and comfort needed to withstand long walks. Very please with this shoe.

I ordered the wrong size. The refund process was smooth and easy. I pulled these out of the box, put them on and went on a 5 mile hike in the rain. They did prevented me from slipping several times.

I love these shoes. I bought a pair 3+ years ago and even though I wear them every day and hike once or twice a week they're still kickin' haha. So I finally bought another pair but I'm keeping the old pair as a spare.

This is my second pair of waterproof hiking shoes from Merrell, and I can hike miles as soon as I put them on. There is no need to break them in.

You will not regret this purchase. The moment I got them in the mail I went and hiked a mountain. I had to check them out. The comfort level is unimaginable. It was like I was hiking in clouds. Usually with shoes one needs time to "break them in". With these Merrells that was not the case. They felt like I had been wearing them for years! So comfy. Not a blister in site. These boots are worth every penny of your hard earned money.

I have suffered with hiking boots in the past that almost fit, but not quite. Calluses, hot spots were the norm for me because of my wide foot (especially in the toe). The new wide Moab 2 is perfect for me--rounded toe area, definitely wider than my current Moab and Keen boots. I have already walked 12 miles in the new low hikers and not foot problems at all. I bought these for a hiking trip I'm taking to Sodona, AZ. I wore them to walk my dogs 1 mile each day to see how they would feel. They're very comfortable. I know they will be great for hiking in a few weeks!

Just spent two weeks in Ireland and wore shoes every day. Rainy weather is typical but also encountered strong winds due to Storm Ali. Shoes kept me dry and securely planted, whether walking streets, hills, or severely inclined rocky paths. Comfortable, supportive and no blisters with lots of walking each day. Purchased wide and I usually use medium. Glad I did.

Just bought my second pair. Sturdy, light, offer good support, waterproof (unless soaked from mud and driving rain), good traction,attractive. By far the best hikers I have owned.

I have Morton's Neuroma and needed a wide toe box. This boot didn't need any breaking in and fit perfectly. I am back to hiking 3-4x a week. Thanks Merrell.

I love the way these shoes fit. They are the prefect shoes for summer hiking and they are waterproof too!

I have wide feet and have had bunion surgery. For an upcoming trip, I needed something waterproof. I have above the ankle hiking boots, but thought they were overkill for this particular trip. Most walking and hiking shoes are not comfortable for me (and I've tried many). When I tried these Merrells, I thought, wow, I won't even have to break these in. I am breaking them in, of course, but I was amazed at how comfortable they were from the moment I put them on. I started with the 6.5W because my usual shoe size is about a 6, but there was not quite enough toe space for me. I returned the 6.5 and ordered a 7W, which works well. The slight discomfort of the 6.5W was probably unique to me and due to the bunion surgery. I wish I had known about Merrells before purchasing my other hiking boots. While those are okay, I have a feeling I would have liked Merrells better!
