I have this same version as a hiking boot and love it! I did not find it necessary to even break it in. Went on long hikes in Steamboat with very happy feet.
I was excited to see this low top version. I usually wear a US 9, but buy the size 9.5 so I can wear thick socks. Size 9 fits perfectly with thin socks. Super comfortable just as the hiking boot. I plan on taking these shoes to Morocco and later to Jordan, where the roads are cobblestone or rough. Thank you Merrel!

These shoes are the most comfortable and most versatile shoes I have ever owned! Whether it's hiking in Zion Canyon or wearing them to work all day at the hospital, the shoes keep my feet from hurting, burning, at the end of the day. Purchase these shoes and you won't regret it! These shoes are also attractive in color and style! There are so many color choices it's hard to pick.

Love these shoes. They are so comfortable and the wide fit is perfect. So many "wide" shoes aren't! They went from dog walking in the city through moving interstate to now walking my soon to be prairie renovation! Thanks Merrells!

I wear a 8W in Merrill clogs, I bought 9W in the Moab 2 waterproof hiking shoes and they fit perfect, not too loose and plenty of toe room, wearing good quality hiking socks.

I wore these hikers for the first time for an all-day hike. They were so comfortable & light on my feet. My feet stayed dry & were not sore at all even though this was my first time wearing them. I highly recommend these hikers!

I love these hiking shoes! Wore out my last pair of mid-height Merrells and when I put these on, they were as comfortable as my old ones. Wore them hiking around my farm all day right after putting them on. Both were size 7.5 and both true to size and width. I like the switch to the lower cut this time which provides just as much support but a bit lighter weight. The tan color is an attractive neutral shade.
