I Love my Merrells all of them. They are the only company that has shoes wide enough for my size 14 4E feet. My only complaint is the outside heel support fails long before the shoe wears out. I simply wish they could correct this. It's a Chassis issue that could be corrected. I hike the crap out of my Merrells in very rough country. They should be up for the task. Still love them though..

I have wore out four other pairs of these shoes in last few years. When I got all of other shoes I took them out of box and would walk in them. This pair first time I wore I only wore for short time and they seem to hurt in center of foot. Thought they needed some break in so I bend them some this time some better but don't seem as comfortable as the other pairs I had. I would not walk 8 miles in them now,

This shoe is very comfortable for walking and hiking. The Gore-Tex keeps my feet dry when walking in wet weather. I often walk in cold winter weather and these shoes are warm.

My husband is trying various waterproof hiking shoes. Liked this one the best but returning it because one lace was already shredded.

I love these and this is my second pair like them. One small gripe is the seam on the back of the heel rubs. I have to tighten the laces a lot to prevent heal rub. I have a normal heal and wide foot in front. All wide shoes have loose heels if they are wide enough to fit in front.

This is a very sturdy low cut boat and comfortable to wear. Was hoping it was a little lighter but the goretex waterproofing is what I was looking for

This is a great shoe for extended walking. It is heavily made, immediately comfortable out of the box and very supportive of my feet with lots of protection rocks, roots or other obstacles. I am glad I purchased them. As the shoe is intended for hiking, it is a bit heavy to wear for just knocking around all day - a lighter weight sports shoe would probably be better for that.

I have had these shoes for about a year. I haven't worn them too much because they hurt he back of my heel on the left foot. I'm not
sure what the problem is. I have many other pairs of Merrell footwear and do not experience this issue.
These seem like a well made shoe, but the pain is really a bummer!

Working overseas, I am a big fan of Merrel's shoes. In the past I've owned several versions of the Chameleon, however, found my last pair to be a disappointment as they started to fall apart almost immediately. The MOAB on the other hand, seems very well put together, far more rugged, and much more comfortable to wear for long periods. My only complaint would be that they do not breath well in heavy heat. Otherwise, I am satisfied with my purchase.

Complete redesign of this shoe. I like the color and the style. But the shoe is super narrow now. I used to always order the gtx 15D and now it doesn't fit. Just not as comfy as it used to be.

They are very durable made and are of quality Merrill's but these gore Tex Moab's make a popping noise while walking I hoped they would break in but have not. I will not be buying gore Tex again

Great looking shoes, I love how comfortable they are, but unfortunately they are not 100% waterproof. If you go on a hike on a wet day you will come back with damp socks, especially in the front part of shoe.

This would have been exactly what I was looking for--a low-cut walking/hiking,waterproof shoe. The sole seemed a little stiff, but not uncomfortable. I've been happy with Merrells in the past in this same size. But the left shoe of this pair seemed narrow and pinched my foot. Maybe it would have improved with breaking in. But I didn't want to take that chance. So I'm returning it and will try another brand.

I could use a 2E width but Merrell doesn't make it. Still, 4E worked fine. Great shoes for hiking. Outer shell peeling from sole after only a few months of daily use walking the dog however.

This is the 4th pair I have purchased over many years. This pair rubs my heel wrong and the shoelaces will not stay tied. I will see over time if the heel gets better as they break in. I did not have this issue with all my previous ones. The shoelaces are really annoying. I will be looking for replacements.

The shoes themselves are nice but it's irritating that the laces have already fallin apart and i havent even had the shoes for a month.

I really enjoyed these shoes for about a year, kept my feet warm and dry through north east weather, mostly walking the dog. Unfortunately material started cracking around toe and pinky area on both shoes.

Comfortable out of the box. Not as water proof as they claim. Fell apart before toe bed in a couple months. I thought the glue was not done very well and noticed the same bad glue job on my new Primes that I bought. I will reconsider buying Merrells from this point forward.

I bought my first pair (Made in China) in Europe 10+ years ago and they served me very well. They are too worn now so it was my obvious choice to purchase the same model, also in Europe. Unfortunately the quality of the recent model (Made in Vietnam) is inferior to the previous one. My biggest problem is the sole: it is very slippery even on wet tarmac and impossible to use on icy roads. I tried it and fell off within minutes. Interestingly, when I put on my old and worn pair I had no more problems on the very same surface. Shall I be brave enough to walk on wet rocks when crossing a creek? I regret that I bought it but cannot return it after using it for two weeks.

My previous Merrells lasted me 10 years, so when it came time to replace them I of course went for another pair of Merrells. I decided to go for this model because it's non-leather. Unfortunately the toe-caps on both shoes started breaking up after 18 months of use. I wear them most days, but I've rarely used them for hiking and the toe-caps aren't subject to much wear and tear. I'm surprised they wore out as quickly as they did.

Good quality shoe but very hot. They fit my feet and they're comfortable but I can't wait to take them off. I'm guessing they don't breath very well.
