Well the 1st place I really wore these is to a concert and stood for 6 hours so they were hard & stiff but after wearing them hiking some they are very comfortable and sturdy. They stay new looking because the rubber is thick & tough and doesn't break down easily. Tough, comfortable and cute.

We hike long range, 250+ miles, of Pacific Crest Trail sections. For that type of hike you need a shoe that will stand up to the rigors of many miles between re-supply. The Moab 2 Mid Ventilator is just such a shoe. The non-insulated Ventilator allows for quick drying and keeps your feet cool when hiking 20+ miles each day. The higher top shoe is also much better, than low top shoes, at keeping dirt and dust out of your shoe.

I use them for patrol in the summer as a police officer. They keep my feet cool. I wish they would come in all black

I'm a UPS driver in the New York city suburb of Westchester. I wear these to work and swear by them. You'd be surprised by the different types of terrain I come across on my route. These give me the support and stability of the boots I wore as a Marine. Wholeheartedly recommended.

I've been using these for years. Some say they are different this year but I can't tell. Good boot at a good price. About to go to the Grand Canyon for the second time, looking forward to my new pair of Merrell's!

I have owned 2 pair of waterproof and one pair of ventilators. This is my first pair of Moab 2 Mid Ventilators. The Estimated delivery was 1 week when I ordered them, they were delivered in 3 days. My first pair lasted over 5 years and had thousands of miles on them. They finally wore out due to wearing them every day from daily activities to hiking photographing wildlife. My feet would stay dry even when hiking in the South Dakota grasslands at over 100 F.

The GORTEX is great if you have to cross creeks and is warmer. Great traction on rocks and flexible for uneven terrain

I've had three pairs of moabs before this pair. I've ground them all into the dirt because they're so comfortable. My feet are hobbit-like and your wide width fits them quite comfortably. Moabs are my go-to shoe forever more. Thank you.

Fits as described, 10W, great feel when hiking. Past experience has shown about 400 miles out of a pair, hope the quality is the same and this pair make it that far.

good fit (with SuperFeet blue inserts); comfortable from the start; needs more extensive testing on rock etc.

These survived a twenty mile hike and were so comfortable yet protective. Mostly desert which can be exhausting without the right support on your feet but these were great. Adventure starts and ends with a good shoe!

Very good support off trail on sandy loam soils. Feet stay cool in hot weather. Getting 800-1000 miles of usage per pair; now own my 3rd pair of Moab 2 Mid Vent Wide men's.

These boots definitely live up to their name! My wife and I bought ourselves and two sons Merrell hiking boots. She has the Accentor 2 Vents, myself the MOAB 2 Vents and the boys the MOAB 2 WP's. The boots have a personality like "you do the hiking we'll be sure to get you there whatever terrain you bring our way". They definitely give you the confidence. Our feet and ankles are not sore after hiking. We highly recommend them!

Comfortable out of the box. 1st hike was 7 miles in Snow Canyon State Park in Utah.

Great fit and comfort. The extra-wide is what I need and they are great. This is my 3rd pair.

Out of the box the best boot you can buy... especially if you have sweaty feet.

These shoes are tough and comfortable. I would recommend you buy a size bigger I normally wear a 12-12.5. I purchased these in a size 13 and the fit was perfect.

So Comfortable and light. No break in time needed!!
