These boots fit well, and go thru mud, wet, steep, rocky- even miles of urban sidewalks with no issues. So comfortable and sure-footed that I never think about them.

Thank you first for making a 10.5 wide boot for women! It's been a rough road trying to find the perfect boot for my backpacking trips! These boots fit my feet like a glove, comfortable, great arch support (for me at least), nice ankle support, waterproof keeping my feet dry during a recent muddy hike. Thank you again for making a boot in this size!!!!

I haven't worn these out in wet trail conditions yet (and if I'm not satisfied after doing so I'll come back and speak up,) but wearing them to teach in on my 12-hour day this week was awesome. Great support and comfort. A little slippery indoors on smooth wet tile, but that isn't what they were made for, so I won't complain. It's amazing and incredible to find women's hiking boots in my size; I despaired of ever finding any more years ago when I got to the point where 9.5M and 10M women's boots wouldn't work anymore, and so I had been wearing ugly-colored men's hiking boots instead. Then Facebook showed me an add for the women's MOAB and it was available in 11W, so I absolutely had to try it out. It's comfortable even over the big toe I broke last year which healed crooked! I'm so glad I tried these boots. They beat even my men's Eddie Bauer Lukla Pro Mids, which I have been extremely comfortable in. There was enough room in my 11W that I got another color that was only available in a 10.5W, and I think they're going to be fine, too! Thanks, Merrell, for serving hard-to-fit customers like me!

Finally Merrell produced a boot in a wide width that fits. I am actually able to wear a pair of hiking socks with them, but they also feel comfortable with a pair of cotton athletic socks. I've worn the MOAB low hikers for years, but the mid-hiker has always been too narrow. I got these this past spring and they have been wonderful. I hiked more than 600 miles along with a couple of short backpacking trips this summer and they were very comfortable. Even after all that hiking, they are still in pretty good shape. I can't think of a single complaint. I am very happy with how they did perform in wet conditions. Are they really waterproof? Depends. I never tried actually wading in them, but they kept my feet dry when it rained and when walking across very shallow rivulets. They didn't keep my feet dry when I slipped and the water was higher than the boots....but what do you expect. I'm planning to purchase a second pair as replacement boots to stick in the closet. If things didn't deteriorate over time, I think I would buy a lifetime supply. This is only the second pair of boots in the last 30 years that have fit my feet and feel comfortable. These boots were exactly what I expected and are very comfortable. Great for walking the dog. I wear a 9 and the 9 fit with my thicker socks

Love these boots. Comfortable right out of the box. I have a high instep and wear orthotics so it's difficult for me to find good fitting shoes. No problem. I feel my heel is very secure and stable. Will most likely buy the low cut version as well. Highly recommend. I bought the 8.5 wide width.

Right after buying this boot I went hiking in the Red River Gorge Kentucky for a few days and I can say that these are the most comfortable boot that I have ever purchased. I even slipped into a stream that we were crossing by walking on rocks and water went over top of my boots and I did not even get water in them. Kept my feet warm without sweating. Love them!

Wore it the weekend I got it, and it served me well!

My old pair finally needed to be replaced. Came to your site and saw their twin. I do add my orthotics and like the easy removal of the footbeds. I have a narrow foot but these can be laced tight enough to keep my foot in place. I've never been disappointed with your shoes or boots and will keep coming back for more.

I loved these boots the minute I opened the box! The sizing was perfect and they wrap comfortably around my ankle. I love the extra padding for arch support. the colors are great and I look forward to getting much use out of these boots for years to come

This is my second pair - i love them! Very comfortable and durable!

I tried on many different comparable shoes and these ones were by far the best. They were roomy but not so roomy that my foot was sliding all over the place. And they were comfortable around my ankles while still giving support.

The boots fit my wife as expected. They are comfortable and lightweight and do not require a break-in period of use. They provide lots of support to her foot and ankle.
