Third pair in last yr of Merrill's I bought all boots but this pair seems tight in width. Great looking, but laces are also shorter on this pair

These are very comfortable hikers. Fit like a glove. Water proof feature outstanding. Right out of the box these hiking boots fit & performed great! Would highly recommend them to anyone.

Bought these for my dad. I was a little hesitant at first because he does require wider shoes but we never had much luck with getting what we want. He loves these! Boots were indeed wide width, size fit him perfectly, they are comfortable and light. The bottoms of the boots also look like they have good traction. We are looking forward to our next hiking adventure!

I love how comfortable these boots are, and my feet do not hurt at the end of the day from being on 12-14 hrs. However the waterproof part not at all, if it rains I can feel the water squish between my toes. I went with Merrill so I can have dry feet without having to go to a full on boot. If they were waterproof like they said they were they would be perfect.

I love the feel of this mid hiker. I wear it around town, school, and especially outdoors. The heel and arch support is awesome and well fitted to my feet. The traction is amazing on all materials, dry or wet. I am a sixteen year old Eagle Scout and wear these constantly around camp. The only complaint I have is that around the toe bed water will leek in. My socks will end up damp after walking through wet grass. Other than that I love these boots and recommend them to everyone.

I decided to do something a little bolder than usual for me style wise, and these boots fit the bill. I like them quite a bit. They are comfortable, but like about any shoe, after several hours, I was ready to take them off. So far, I haven't had an opportunity to do an in depth test on the water proof claim, but after a dog walk after a rain shower in these boots, my feet were still dry despite a few puddles. Overall, I'm happy.

Had to send back to get 11s. I wear 10.5 in everything else. Otherwise, I think they will be more than fine.

When I tried these on the store, they were the only pair of hiking boots among 10 or so different brands and models I tried that truly felt comfortable and immediately had a great fit. I wore them around the house several days, then decided to give them the water hose test along the sides to see if they are truly waterproof. With my hose water coming out at medium pressure, I started to feel water from the hose on my sock and foot with in about 30 seconds. I went ahead and took them hiking for the weekend on some nice light hikes on mountain biking trails. Aside from not being waterproof, these shoes performed admirably. As I use my hiking boots as snow boots when the occasion arises, waterproof Ness is a nonnegotiable, especially as these are premium shoes. As other of years have stated, I might try the Gore-Tex version of issue for true waterproofness.

The boots fit great, they are comfortable, and lightweight. Waterproofing is a must for me, and these keep my feet dry, while letting them breath. Will be ordering another pair to have on hand when these wear out. Would recommend this boot to anyone.

I do alot of property inspections and I needed a light weight shoe for dirt and pavement. The MOAB was exactly what I wanted in a shoe. It handles the mud and puddles while giving me comfort on the pavement. I recommend these for not only hiking but urban adventures.

found that the shoe rubs a blister on my right little toe after 4-5 hours of wear as I felt that the shoes were worn too much to return I am thinking that in time they might loosen or break in a bit it is not a big blister but makes wearing them uncomfortable for a day of out side

This is my second pair of Merrell hiking boots.... in 10 years! I literally wore out my previous pair over hundreds of miles because they were as comfortable as my favorite jeans. As for this pair, so far so good. They're equally comfy and fit as nicely as my old favs. I've only had them for a couple of weeks, so they haven't been tested on anything more than a couple of easy, dry hikes with a light backpack. Those two hikes totaled only about 8 miles. I sure hope these become my next favorite light hikers with many years and miles of adventure.

I decided to try these on the other day because I really liked how they looked and well, they felt even better. The problem was moisture getting into the shoe. I was walking the dog in a slightly muddy and wet field and I could start to feel my feet getting wet. With previous hiking boots I could stand in a creek and have dry feet. I discovered online that they aren't really waterproof even though they do say "Dry" on them. I was able to return them to the store and get a fully waterproof hiking boot. That being said if you just want a good day to day shoe these are super comfy. This is why I still have the boots 4 stars. If Merrell does this shoe fully waterproof at some point I will switch over to their shoes.

Bought this boot about 3 years ago. Climbed fourteeners in Colorado with them and slopped around the yard in Michigan. Great fit. Nice to walk in.. The waterproofing broke down after two years. I believe in this model the stitching goes through the waterproofing. I would upgrade to the GoreTex membrane on the next waterproof boot. Otherwise great fitting and comfortable boot.

Absolutely love Moab but sb called mfoab. Lacing the top hooks is over the top frustrating. Merrell please fix the design in your next update. Again love the boots but a fix needed.

I had a previous pair with similar styling, so I was confident in the size, but these are tighter inside. I tried to wear them and hope they would stretch out, but they are too small.

Love them, just wish the 12.5 had been available. Going to Portugal in a week and had to go ahead and get a pair for lots of hiking. I had 12.5 on back order for quite a long time. Hopefully they will be available when its time for my next pair.

Thie MOAB 2 boot is comfortable and has outstanding arch support features. Great for people with high arches. However, the arch appears to have been shifted a little toward the back of the shoe (as compared to my older versions). As a result, I had to exchange up to a half size larger shoe than my actual shoe size so that the arch support would line up correctly with my arch. Not a big issue, but it is a change from how my old MOAB 1 boots were fitted.

Very sturdy boot but it's a bit snug with a sports sock - so now I'm stuck wearing my dress socks or fun socks with my boots (frown).

Best recommendation I could provide is I have purchase five pairs of these boots. They fit as expected and keep my feet dry in the muck without sweating. You can hose them off but you'll want to get a suede brush to finish cleaning them up. Soles dig in really well on slippery sideslopes.

As someone with a wide foot and a high instep, I find it hard to get footware that fits, and is comfortable for hours at a time. These boots are all that.. The fit is just right. They breath fairly well. And are light. After 12 hours they feel as good as when I first put them on.

Delivered a day early! Wore these into Yosemite for their maiden hike. From Glacier point down into the Valley and back out with no shoe issues. Brand new and several miles covered with no blisters due to fit. I wear a 2E and these feel like a 4E. The shoe is a generous 10.5. Good ankle support without loss of mobility. I am happy with them for light hiking.
