Bought a pair of Moab 2 mid waterproof wide width and they were great shoes. The shoes had a problem with them so I reached out to Merrell for help. The customer service team was great and help get a new pair to fix the problem. Great investment.

Very comfortable and look good too

I replaced a similar pair of Merrells with these boots. The two pair were identical in fit, comfort and quality. The old pair lasted me 12 years of hiking the trails. That quality brought me back to Merrell when it came time for a replacement. I have had numerous conversations with other hikers who agree with me that Merrell makes the best hiking shoe on the market. I am a Merrell customer for life.

I'm 31 with four years in service to the marine corps and now bring a maintenance tech for the last two years.. I'm always on the go, moving.. and if not moving, standing still in one spot.. my feet were aching.. my back suffering.. my sciatic nerves were triggered.. pleaded to say, this product seriously helped alleviate all foot pain, maximums minimized back ache, gave me a spring to my step, absolutely comfortable. Five star. This review is from a first timer and just let me say these work boots are all that and more!!!

I have always used Merrell shoes for backpacking but this shoe stands out among them all. I have never owned a more comfortable and well-fitting shoe than the MOAB 2. There's a reason it is called the Mother of All Boots.

Ordered my pair of boots five days before I made a trip to Ireland. Received the boots three days after ordering. Hate all over Ireland for six days and these boots and they were awesome....Thanks

Comfy without having to be worn in. Waterproof but get a good spray anyway. Love the color I chose My favorite hiker I've bought.

Boots came as expected. The first time wearing them they had a great fit and comfortable. No break in period. Light weight and agile. First hike was after a morning rain on a rocky surface.

I have worn these boots for a few months, I love everything about them, they are indeed waterproof, and hold up to my every day work, from bending down under orange trees, to walking through cow pies in the pasture, from sugar sand to hard pan and rock these boots have you covered, they are very good at releasing debris in the tread and the sides. Very comfortable, a lot of cushion where you need it, not hot at all in the Florida heat, but will stay warm in the Tennessee slush, Merrell made the perfect boot! Tried the rest, can't beat the best! Thank you Merrell!

So comfortable I hate to take them off.

I bought these several years ago. But have worn then every day for the last 3 years. They are very comfortable and provide great traction on ANY surface, excluding solid ice, but better than anything I've worn in the past. The tread still looks new. I'm diabetic, so it's important to have good for wear. Thank you Merrell for taking great care of my feet! I'll buy another pair, when I can afford to.

I leave next week on a hiking trip. I've been walking several miles a day to break them in. No issues! I ordered a half size larger than my low cut Moab's because I will be wearing thicker socks this trip and also need the ankle support. The toe box is comfy.

Fit and finish are amazing. Can't wait to try them in the wet.

Very comfortable fit, seems to have good cushioning under the heel, doesn't feel too heavy.

Just put these boots through a week of day hikes in the Vail, Colorado area and they performed well. Good foot and ankle support. I especially like the side size offered.

I purchased a pair of these about 6 months ago there absolutely amazing hiking boots there light m very breathable never had footware in my life thats kept my feet dry n warm at the same time I hiked about 230 miles in these n they still look as new as I took them out of the box thank you Merrell for maken a good product

It was wonderful to slip on a boot out of the box and it fit perfectly! It takes me forever, usually, to find shoes that feel right off the shelf. Thought I would take a chance with an online shoe purchase. Best idea everrr! These boots are the holy grail of boots, so far. True to fit, wide width, really comfortable out of the box. I don't see the need for any "break in" time. Loved the comfort level so much I ordered another pair of Merrells 2 days later! Also very impressed with the 2nd pair! Merrell has earned my business!

I was looking for a WIDE, square toed shoe with an insole that cradled my foot. Having neuropathy, comfort is essential. Except for an inordinate number of snail advertisement after purchasing the product, I am extremely satisfied.

On a Trip to Philmont Scout Ranch in New Mexico I truly discovered the High Performance nature of the MOAB Boot. Our crew trekked 54 miles, in 12 days in the heat, rain, hail, stream crossings, diverse terrain, summited Mt Baldy (12,441 feet), Hart's Peak & Dean Skyline (8000 feet) and the MOAB boot kept my feet dry, comfortable, sure footed and NO BLISTERS I was considering looking at other brands of boots, but the High Performance of the MOAB has made me a Merrell Fan for life and will recommend them to anyone who asks. We also had to replace a Scouts worn boots a day before our trek, we replaced them with the MOAB boot, he experienced a great trek with no foot issues. Thanks Merrell for a great boot. Very comfortable boots. I ordered a wide size which i am really glad they had. I use them for working out in the woods. They are very sturdy and have a strong sole and good grip for going up and down hills with rocks. Nothing negative to say. Very well made affordable boots.
