I got these boots 2 years ago and have worn them on a few hikes. Initially they felt good, plenty of cushion and true to size. The first hike I wore them on I found they were really good on rocks, however on the descent they destroyed my toes. I had a black toe for months from them. I figured I just didn't tie the ankle tight enough and tried them again. The second hike after two hours my toes and ankles were killing me. The third and last time I tried them I was just walking around a local park and this time they hurt my ankle bone. I'm very surprised no one else has had this issue. Maybe I should have gone up a half size and opted to wear very thick socks. I tend to wear normal hiking socks with them.

I do absolutely love these shoes but unfortunately I could not wear them. They are just too narrow for me. I first ordered my normal size in the wide width but I had to return them. So I then ordered a half a size larger thinking that would make them wide enough. I'm sorry to say that they was still far too narrow. If your foot isn't very wide then these might work for you. I was so disappointed that I had to send both pair back. They appear to be a good quality boot though and I love how they look. Please Columbia make them wider!

These shoes seem to be of great quality, but they are definitely NOT a wide width. I'm very disappointed and now have to pay $6.00 to return them. Will not be buying shoes from Columbia online anymore.

I bought these boots based on reviews I had read and my sister's recommendation, and I wore them to the infamous 2018 Boston Marathon, which was about 35 degrees and pouring rain. My feet were kept dry and warm for about 1/2 hour, but slowly but surely I felt cold dampness spread from the upper to the sole of my right boot. When I took them off in the car on the ride home, there was a puddle of water in the right boot, whereas the left boot was totally dry. These boots are wonderful and comfortable if you are not anticipating rainy weather; the sole is comfy and the arch support is incredible. They just did not stand up to the test that Boston gave them that day.

THESE ARE NOT WATERPROOF!!! I did a hike with some puddles of water and my shoes were SOAKED. Took 2 days for them to dry

I ordered this boot, twice, and despite it being available on the website, I was told it was not. I'm surprised that I was asked to write a review for the boots I couldn't buy.

I wore these once only to have both boots have a defect in the toe area. Very uncomfortable and presses down on the top of my toes. I cna stick my fingers in and feel the jagged edges on the inside. Very disappointing for how much I spent on these.

The left boot entire upper leather is bigger then the right boot causing discomfort and blistering due to foot not secure. Poor tongue design does not allow for proper tightening of shoe without discomfort to the top of the foot. Would not recommend.

I bought these about five months ago for some light hiking and backpacking this summer. The soles already started to chip away, and these boots do not feel like they absorb any impact when hiking! On top of this every time I hike in these I get blisters everywhere, and they have no ventilation.

Too small. Bought size I usually buy but they were all around tight and too small and had to be returned

The sizing was much too small and narrow. I had to order again in 2 different sizes and they all were not satisfactory

Very comfortable boot but......it SMELLS terrible....I can not keep in our house. Smells like mildew.

I bought these shoes a few months ago and finally got the chance to wear them outside of breaking-in indoors.. these boots are incredibly uncomfortable especially when walking down hills. There is very little cushion in the front of the shoe. Will be trying to return if possible. Such a bummer because the boot is super cute and I loved the color.

I bought this November 8. 2021 and after one week of used the sole starts to detach.

Hurt my toes after 4 miles. Hopefully this improves if I wear them more.

I bought a pair of these and went backpacking/mountain climbing for 4 days. The metal shoe lace pieces broke off very quickly and easily if any mud or water got in/on them. I had them 4 days and they fell apart and I couldn't get my money back....
