Though the style and fit are on point, when walking the toe box creases and painfully presses in on my toes- even with thick hiking socks. it doesn't seem like breaking them in would be a fix because of how the leather is sewn together.

No arch support. I usually wear a 9 but would need to have sized up to wear my wool hiking socks. Back they go because lack of arch support.

I ordered these and only wound up trying the left shoe on. They were obviously more snug than my current hiking boots that I was trying to replace. I ordered the wide and they were so snug still.

Wides were still too narrow on my bunion. I have arthritis in my big toe and any rubbing is a no! They’re cute but if you have and foot ouchies, go for the more shoe like Columbia!

These are much cheaper feeling than previous pairs of Columbia hiking boots. No cushion, no support. Seams appear glued instead of sewn.

These shoes were very uncomfortable and would return them if I could. They also seem to be of low quality materials.

Not as stiff as I'd like for hiking boots. The toe part bends, and you can feel the bend digging into your toes even on a flat surface. It's a shame because the shoe is super comfortable (and stylish! for hiking boots at least) everywhere else.

These shoes are heavy, bulky and uncomfortable. The toe box is very square and feels unnecessary wide.

"You get what you pay for". These boots are 1/3 of the price of good boots b/c they just aren't that great. They didn't pose much problem when i wore them as work boots around the property but they first time I took them on a lengthy hike (after 5 miles) they made my feet ache. They have little to no arch support. They are so wide that I had to tie the laces so tightly to keep my feet from sliding around that they rubbed the top of my feet, making them raw. After 10 miles the soles started making a squishy air sound, and now i count the days until the sole separates from the shoe. My last hiking boots took me down the AT and thousands of other miles until they had any problems. These are not good boots for hiking.
