Went up .5 size and after 3 wears they feel great!

Great boot! The orange laces were a little loud, so I'm considering a different color.

Have wore these for two weeks. Comfortable and supportive. Good sole. Great color (lots of comments).

Very attractive boot. I thought it was a decent fit. I think it will need some breaking in to achieve ultimate comfort in terms of the fit.

I've worn these boots on two six and seven mile hikes in Oregon during wet February weather. I'll get the negative out of the way first. My seven mile hike was through 4 to 6 inches of snow for about a mile. By the end of that hike, my feet were soaking wet and cold. Traction was okay in the snow, I didn't have someone else's boots to compare to on this hike though. I noticed that the top half inch of these boots don't lace up tight, leaving a floppy little entrance for snow and rain. I'm not sure if the need to wring my socks out at the end was due to all the moisture coming in from the top, or if the waterproofing failed. That being said, these boots are very comfortable. The comments about a no break in period for these boots are correct. I'm SO glad they have wide sizes for this boot! No issues with sore feet or blisters so far in them. I haven't had an issue with the metal lace hooks coming off, and I wasn't necessarily gentle trying to tie them tightly. Overall, I really love these boots. They look great and feel great. I'm still concerned about the wetness factor, but on my first hike in them, I stood in a stream to rinse them off with no issues then. These may just be better suited to drier weather.

I wanted to give a 5 star review but I couldn't. I love these boots. I have three pairs now in different colors I love the way they fit and look. They are very comfortable as well. My only complaint on this pair is that they have a mildew smell that will not go away. The box was not damaged and the boots were not wet. I do love them but very disappointed in the fact that they smell terrible.

Very impressed with how comfortable, lightweight, and warm these are. I thought I would have to switch to a heavier hiking boot in these below zero temps but "no" just a pair of wool hiking socks and my Columbia's and my feet are toasty. IMPRESSIVE! #TestedTough

I bought it a week before. It is really good looking, better than its picture and when I tight the shoelaces appropriately, it fits my foot very well.

Firstly, they run small (Please don't ignore this). I definitely wish I got at least a half size up. I'm usually an 8, but during longer hikes and on steep terrain my toes were suffering. Due to the waterproof nature of the shoe they are not the most breathable. Your feet will sweat. That being said. I loved these shoes. They gave me the confidence to step on slick, steep or jagged rocks! They are durable. They are great for the casual camper, but for more intense hiking I recommend a more breathable shoe. I'm sad to have to part with them.

Enjoyed this boots while hiking for 7hrs on an elevation. Minimal complaints of sore foot but overall feels lighter with excellent heel support compared to my other boots. Great product.

I ordered them for my rainy days for my bike rides, and they were functional. Could be made a little more lighter and comfortable.

I bought these for my first backpacking trip, so I don't have much experience with hiking boots! That said, I covered 20 miles in them out of the box without any major issues. I didn't find them super comfortable and find it hard to tie the laces tightly/keep them tightened but it wasn't too bad (and the trail I was on was pretty rough). They did a nice job keeping water out!

These shoes fit true to size and when I first put them on, they were super comfortable! The first hike I took them on was an uneven, super rocky path. These were supportive in all the right places and I didn't feel the rocks through the bottoms. My feet were perfectly dry the whole time too. By the end of the hike though, the balls of my feet were in a bit of pain. The insoles have very little/no support or cushioning so I will have to go out and buy different ones.

I've used these shoes for several walks and hikes (3+ miles) so far. With tall socks on each time, there was no irritation around my ankle which normally happens with new shoes. I did almost roll my ankle over a tree root and the shoe provided some rigidity to keep me safe. Plenty of room in the toes and are really comfortable. I have high arches and could see myself needing an insert as time goes on but I love them so far! Gave 4 stars because I haven't put them through any tough or long distance hikes and don't know how they'll do yet.

Like this shoe a lot. Comfort and functional. Good size. Seems water resistant although I haven't tried that. I gave 4 stars because I don't love the pink laces (I git the gray/rose style) and just don't love the clunkiness of hiking boots in the first place. However, for a hiking boot, they are great.
