First time running in Hokas and they are awesome. I have been having trouble finding a shoe with enough cushion and I have to say the cushion in the Bondi 5 is amazing. Although the shoe does look kind of big and clunky, it doesn't weight any more than other shoes.I was actually surprised how light they were. I will add, I am normally an 8 1/2 and I had to go down to an 8.

I have been wearing Hoka One One for a number of years and have been very happy with them. The Bondi 5 is no exception. They are extremely comfortable, light and breathable. I wear them for everyday walking/walking the dog and light off road walking. I can't, in all good conscience, call what I do light hiking, although, I think they would be comfortable for that. I like the Aquafer/Vintage Indigo color more than I expected to, it was not my first, or second, color choice. If you need cushioning, these shoes really come through.

Most comfortable shoe I have ever worn. Pricey but worth every penny.

These fit awesome and the colors are cool. I'm returning because of the white on the side of the shoe that will get crummy looking after a while from running outside. My mistake for buying.

A few things to note to make these shoes fit right for me: -I needed to purchase socks that went above my ankle because the lower socks kept slipping -I adjusted the shoelaces to the furthest to the top and this kept the shoe from rubbing my heel These came highly recommended by a dear friend and track coach. They were a bit pricey but worth every penny. I feel like I’m walking on air! They almost feel like they are propelling me forward. I went on a walk with my husband last night and he couldn’t keep up with me. :) My feet normally point out like a duck and I was surprised to see that these shoes are helping to correct that problem. I have worn ASICS and Adidas, and they usually make my heels hurt. With these shoes, I don’t have that problem and I feel like I could go for miles!

My new running shoes! I've been running in asics for over 10 years and I'm converted. These have great support and the wide width is perfect.

If you, like me have spent YEARS looking for a shoe for your aching feet read this review! I am a "recovering athlete" I played 3 sports in high school, 2 in college and never had any issues. That is until I grew up! When I entered my mid 30s everything changed. My feet hurt, my knees, my back- Plantar fasciitis , rhumatoid arthritis- The RA dr said my joints were 60 year old joints and I was only in my 30s. From that time on I have tired literally EVERY BRAND and MAKE of shoe- keen, saucony, brooks, new Balance- merrell, scarpa, oboz, the list goes on and on and on...I teach and I am on my feet 8 hours a day and take over 20,000 steps each day! I would go home and sit and not want to move for anything b/c my feet hurt so bad. I had resorted to wearing hiking boots b/c they at least gave me enough support...but you can't really run or jump in hiking boots. So I tried HOKA BONDI..and I am NOT kidding the day I worse them NO PAIN! I had lived with super tight calves for the last 6 years. and the first day I wore the Bondi 5 my calves weren't tight during the day or when I got home! It was not only surprising but a relief. But..would it last? maybe my knee or back would start to hurt..NOPE! I have worn them for a week and the pain is gone in my feet AND calves! Yesterday it was pouring rain...and I had to wear my old other shoes and my calves immediately tightened up! I"m a believer and I'm soooo grateful!! and while you think they look super huge like moon shoes on your feet..they don't really. they look like a regular PE shoe on your foot.
