Do not judge a book by its cover! They are a bit funky looking but these are one of the most comfortable running shoes I have ever tried. The cushioned soles are amazing and there is zero break in needed. They are broke-in comfy from run one. I have plantar fasciitis and my feet don’t ache one bit after a good run any longer. Will definitely be buying these again!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE the Bondi 5! So sad the Hoka One One is discontinuing it! Ugh! I bought 3 pair in preparation! Ugh! These sneakers are rated PLUSH on the Hoka website, and not many of them are rated PLUSH. These shoes let me work out again! I have leg, ankle & Foot pain due to mucho hardware in one of my legs. These shoes help alot! PLEASE keep this design!

Needed shoes for a long night walking vacation. Tried everything’s no I could find. These are the only shoes that I can wear more than an hour without pain from my plantar fasciitis. The shoes are big, making my large feet look huge, but the comfort is worth it. I returned my first pair in my usual size and got 1/2 size smaller. They fit perfectly. Thrilled that they come in wide width. I’ve recommended them to a couple of people who like them also.

It was a toss up between this and another pair, but only when I put my custom orthotics in these shoes did the others come out as the winner. These are SUPER comfy and really really nice looking too!!

The fit and size was perfect! They fit exactly to the size I wear in my other runners. I have bad knees and Hoka was recommended to me. Wow it is like running on air!!! I have othere runners but these are definately my go to shoes for distance running!

I purchased these for my mother who wears orthodotics, has small wide feet and is an active walker (85 years young). She was complaining of being tired with leg pain and wasn't walking, so I thought it could be contributed to her old pair of shoes. She didn't like the looks of these, but tried them on and fell in love with them. She said that her pain magically went away. She also resumed her walks and is very happy. I'm so glad that I purchased these for her!

These shoes have so much cushion that my feet do not hurt at all after my morning walk which is usually about 7 miles. Most days I get another 3 miles according to the Fitbit. I wear them around the house and out in the world too. They are by far my favorite shoes, surpassing my former favorites, the Clifton 4's. I now have two colors and hope to purchase one more.

Recently diagnosed with mid-foot arthritis, I needed a shoe with a very stiff sole that promotes walking heel through toe. These were recommended by the shoe store associated with my orthopedist's practice. Totally the right shoe for this ailment. Pain is substantially reduced. I'm not a fan of athletic shoes, but forced to wear them, these were a great choice.

Shout out to the Facebook Hallux Rigidus group, who have been singing the praises of this shoe. If you have a compromised foot (in this case, the metatarsal joint of the big toe is arthritic and without cartilage, causing the bone to scrap on bone), then this shoe may be the best one for you. I slipped them on, wore them for a couple of hours, and was pain-free. They have a slight rocker sole, which I didn't think I wanted, since I wasn't pleased with Dansko in the past. However I don't feel unsteady at all in these. Highly padded, great comfort. Highly recommend. I bought the all black, as I wanted them to be somewhat inconspicuous, but some of the color combinations are quite cute. Yes, they are clunky, but good soles and lots of padding will cause that.
