This shoe was CRAZY COMFORTABLE but ... so old-lady looking.... I keep them because I am just getting back into running and the Hokas were really helpful for minimizing stress on my joints. However, I couldn't live with the giant white sole, so I took a Sharpie to them (see photos) - time consuming, but looks much better! Shoe on the right is post-Sharpie in each photo. Hoka - can you PLEEAASE make a show with the same technology but better style? You can borrow my Sharpie...

I wanted to love this shoe, but alas it's going back. Compared to other Hokas, this has a more streamlined profile. If you don't like the clunky Hoka look, this might be a good bet, but the narrower forefoot area didn't work for me.

This is the first pair of shoes in my 50+ years that I haven't wanted to take off. They are that comfortable. I am going to try to find a similar pair for my husband. I walk 2-3 miles before work and am on my feet most of the day. These totally fit the bill!! I was hesitant about the price but they are totally worth it. No more ankle pain!!

I have had the bulky hokas for a couple years now and love the cushioning they provide, but the outer soles seem to wear quickly worsening my pronation. This pair was less bulky and able to blend with everyday jeans or shorts. It does not wear unevenly on me. I have foot problems and wear orthotic insoles so the removable insoles hoka has work well - except that inserting and removing to put in different shoes was too taxing on the inside heel area and I now have the full plastic panel rubbing the back of my heel after only 2-3 months. I bought these mostly for long distance walking while I wear my hoka sobas for running. I'm about to buy the same pair again bc the top material is the ONLY style that doesn't hurt my corns and allows my wide feet enough room without causing me to slide around in them. Hopefully the designers will reinforce the inner heel padding so people can move their orthotics in and out without such weakening of the fabric!!

Initially sized my foot using the hooka size chart. It was 0.5 size too big. Exchanged for the size I usually wear in running shoes & it was perfect. I wear a 7.5 in asics and a 7.5 in hooka! The box box is so much better than the several models of asics I have. They are soft inside but not too soft that you don't feel the support, which I prefer. I do recommend these

The minute I put my first Hokas on it was an "Ahhhhh" moment. They are so cushiony and comfortable. I am not a runner but a walker with knee issues and often sore feet, but things have improved since I've made these my all-day shoe. I had to try a bunch of different Hoka styles (thanks, Zappos!)to find the two that felt the best for me, and I've barely taken them off since. They run small, and my feet run big (10 ladies) so I found these that I like in size 11, and another style in a men's 9. I'm not as concerned with how they look, although I love the colors-- to me it's all about how they feel. Ahhhh. I also use removable orthotics; I've only had these about a month but there is no problem with that yet.

I love these sneakers. I recently came down with foot problems that caused a great deal of pain. These sneakers were great and I bought several more pairs after this one

I got these because I read all the reviews and how amazing they are... so wrong! I got them and they felt amazing. Like pillows. A small amount tight across the top but it was so small I thought it would just stretch into my feet. After one day of wearing them, my feet were killing me. After two weeks of wearing them pain in the palm of my feet, in my arches and the sole. And after a month or so of wearing them daily, I was completely going over on them. They had no support and my feet where in constant pain. The the price, my feet should have felt like clouds but nowhere near. I wrote Zappos and boy-oh-boy did Zappos do right by me. Love Zappos! The shoes... :( so sad cause they are so pretty. Specially for the price - what a rip-off.

Too tight! too narrow. Sending back for next size up. Hope they honor the sale price.

I loved my last pair of Hokas. Unfortunately the new Hoaks have a piece of uncomfortable material that feels like plastic in the lace up area. Really rubs the wrong way! Back they go!
