After a severe knee injury, I found standing and walking difficult as an elementary teacher. I purchased my first Hoka One Vanquish 2 shoe two years ago. I absolutely love them! The shoe eliminated so much impact on the knee. However, Hoka One Vanquish 3 have a little tighter toe box. ( I don't want to return them as Im not sure what to replace them with)...the cushioning is perfect for my knee. However, I'm left battling with blister and soreness from tight toe box area. :( I would recommend this shoe to anyone, but please Hoka One..design the toe box similiar to the Vanquish 2. Any recommendations out there?

I have sent the shoes back after running in them a few times and not being able to adjust to the size.

Love this sneaker and these colors but this Vanquish 3 felt too narrow in the B width. Wish this came in a wide width!

I injured my knee two years ago and went through several surgeries. As a school teacher walking on concrete all day, a good cushioned shoe is a must. My orthopedic doctor recommended HokaOne. I absolutely love them. I always wore the Vanquish 2 and will still try to find the shoe, but can't find them in my size as they have been replaced with Vanquish 3. I ordered my first pair of Vanquish 3...love the stability, and the cushion to manage knee pain. However, after the first day I have a blister trying to develop on the "big toe" area. It is a little loose in the heal, nothing to be alarmed about, however..hoping after a couple more days the "toe area" will improve. If not, I'm a sad customer. I'm wondering if there is another HokaONe that would best help my knee? I love the HokaOne.

Very sturdy shoe with maybe a bit more motion control than my foot can handle. Nice looking for my large feet. I love Hokas but these were not quite right for my needs.

I wasn't excited about the shoe age right doing so much research on a good cushioned shoe, but when it arrived I was disappointed that the toe box was so narrow. I need wider bc of very small beginning bunions (and my foot is wider on the front without them, but heel is normal/narrow). I hadn't to return. Maybe if I had gone up a 1/2 size it would have worked but didn't want to chance it. I'll try Hoka again next time, but went with a different brand for this time. The shoe seemed very cushiony though if it weren't for the narrowness.

I have 3 pairs of Hoka shoes, plus a pair of slides, this last pair( Vanquish) feels to narrow at the toes, to me they are not as comfortable as my other 2 pair,( Bondi and Infinite)the Vanquish does not seem to have enough cushion at the toe area, I wear them to work, because I walk between 3 to 5 miles or more a day at work, just to wear them for short periods of time they are fine, but I won't be buying another pair of Vanquish again, like the Bondi and Infinite a lot better they seem to have a lot more cushion for my need,

Tried these for about 3 weeks. My hips have never hurt so much in my life! Also, giant knee pain. I think these change your gait which might be ok for some, but not for me. These are going back.

I usually wear standard sneakers, off the rack. But these were tight through my foot - uncomfortably tight. Otherwise they seemed like a great shoe.

I wouldn't exactly rate these as plush, but they are moderately comfortable. I agree with the comments on the small toe box, however with my narrow feet it doesn't bother me. Still would recommend.

I thought these were nice except the right shoe squeaked with every step. That doesn’t work for me

I have purchased several Hoka One One Vanquish in the past and these are very different. One they are have a more narrow design, two the tongue of the shoe is shorter than V2 and they have less cushion than V2. I like the purple color and design but I am disappointed with the company for giving us "less" shoe. Furthermore, the shoe dept is less. It feels like your foot is not in the shoe. In the long run, we are getting less and paying more. This happens to be the on going trend with everything.

I work in healthcare. 12hr shifts walking on concrete. I have plantar facitis and wear orthotics. The infinity worked great for me but can't find anymore. I haven't found a replacement model that works for me. Thinking about going back to Asics or Brooks.

I love Hoka One One shoes. I really wanted to like the Hoka One One Vanquish 3. But it is a very expensive sneaker that is just not comfortable enough for me to keep. It doesn't feel much thicker than an ASIC. The Hoka One One Bondi 5 is my true love. This the shoe I wear in the house, standing and cooking my famous Italian sauce and coconut cookies! I have all hardwood floors and ceramic tile in my home and I need the cushioning! And the Bondi 5 is the one I wear working out as well. I have alot of hardware in my leg. I need the cushioning as I have arthritis and supination in my feet due to the changes in my gait. And the Vanquish 3 just doesn't cut it for me, even with my own inserts. I'll order another pair of Bondi 5 ! Hope this helps!

I am returning to jogging after a 30-year hiatus. I have cross-trained for many years and my first pair of Hokas---Challenger ATRs---made me think jogging again could be a fun activity again. So, I tried the newest Challenger model and liked all but the length and stiffness of the tongue (which left bruising on my upper foot). Thanks to Hoka's 30-day trial period, I returned those and got a pair of Vanquish 3's at the end of June 2017. I had read that they are plush (and they are, even with my Super Feet inserts) and offered more room in the toebox (an issue with other Hoka styles for me). Lo and behold, they worked! But, the tradeoff is that there is a little more volume in that area (it's a bit stiff but gets better with the wearing). Also the area around the top of the foot and ankle is wider (perhaps lower cut?). Solved that with a different lacing strategy but that necessitated longer laces (now I have non-Hoka laces). Finally got the fit tweaks done and shoes comfy for my short, slow jogs around my neighborhood on asphalt. Seriously, just casual short outings every few days just to get back into this activity. It's almost 3 months later and maybe 3 dozen short runs (1.5-2 miles each) with cool down walks and the black heel sections of the shoes wearing area and one-side, peeling off! I would have assigned this shoe a better rating and would recommend it but for the wear issue. Hoka does have a great guarantee and very good Customer Service but to have to make a return so quickly does not speak well for the quality of the manufacturing. Marilyn and CS is sending me another pair today. She encouraged me to write this review. Hopefully no one else will have this shocking issue or be reluctant to let the company know about it. Wish me luck! My future request is that Hoka create a plush, stable shoe with a toebox similar to the one on the Vanquish 3 model! Liked the stability offered by the Gaviota style but needed more cushioning.

Fit was 1/2 size large. Shoe tight over end of toes. Heal wore through to a hole. Day 1 gave a blister and every day after. Horrible fit and style. Do not purchase.

Upper quite uncomfortable. Stitching around tongue irritating plus tongue not wide enough to cover lacing. Footbed and walking surface were excellent, though.
