I have run in brooks for years and always loved them. In the spring I trained for 2 halfs and developed posterior tibial tendonitis. I switched to brooks stability shoe with no luck. These are my first pair of hokas, and I was in love from the first run. I broke them in with a 9 mile run with zero problems. They are nice and cushioned and with my inserts, I had no foot pain. The recommend tool suggested I order an 8, I wear and 8 1/2 in brooks. I still ordered an 8 1/2 and was glad I did; they fit perfectly!

I am overweight due to various medical conditions and recently developed plantar fasciitis. These provide the needed support, fit perfectly, and are breathable and lightweight. Nice bounce back. I am trying to get back in shape and I think these will help. I'll probably never "run" in them but if they help me re-establish my walking routine and have less pain, that's enough for me. No other shoe provides this level of comfort. I can wear them all day without being in agony. This is a huge thing for someone with foot problems. These aren't just for "athletes." Picked this model on the advice of a podiatrist.

I have "ball of foot pain" and do use a $70 orthotic w/ arch support and ball of foot support. I like to do strenuous hill walking and this shoe is the best I've used to prevent later having sore "balls of feet".
I did not like the very bright colors the retail store to had access to, so bought the shoes online and got the last one in my size of a dark blue w/ pink laces variety. So, means other liked the darker color too.
Also was concerned that the shoe would look huge on my size 9 feet - the darker color was way better in this regard.

I am an avid runner logging about 35-40 miles per week over the last 15 years. I am an over pronator along with having absolutely no arches. I have struggled over the years to find a shoe that really fit well and offered me the support that I needed. This shoe is absolutely hands down the best thing I have ever put my feet into! Great cushioning, foot support and leg alignment. I've been running in these shoes for a week now and I feel like I am flying! THANK YOU FOR THIS SHOE!

I have been wearing Brooks Adrenalin shoes forever! Im in total love! These shoes support my ankle supination (roll out, for the non-medical) and look great when I teach Les Mills BODYPUMP! The only description I can give is, it feels like squatting or lunging on a pillow! LOVE IT! They grip the floor and look fantastic for class! More COLORS PLEASE! I also added the Lock Tight Laces, well because Im lazy, HAHAHA, not really! I like the locked in feel and ability to kick them off quickly. AWESOME JOB HOKA! Im a converter/promoter!

the first black pair I use for for. walking, standing all day . They are a bit thick/heavy. I recommended to other girls at the spa, 3 of them have purchased the shoes...yes I will continue to recommend them.
Second pair I use to go to the gym ride my bike. I like the color very social, I can walk into a bar after my ride and get a drink.

I find Hoka's run large. Normally wear a 1/2 size bigger just for running and walking but with Hoka's you can wear your true size...otherwise too big.

I needed to replace a pair of Hoka Challenger that had worn out. I tried the same model, but they were different. After trying many other shoes, I tried the Gaviotta. They have worked out wonderfully. I used orthodics which fit well. I needed stability shoes and these fit the bill. Thanks for giving me my mobility back with these great shoes.

I finished my 10th 1/2 marathon in these last weekend. This was the FIRST time I have not had to duck tape up my inner arch to prevent blisters....no blisters, no "hot spots"....not one!! These shoes are amazing! I'm back to buy a second pair!

A nice super stable, max cushion show that doesn't weigh a ton or feel heavy on my feet! The wider toe box is so nice since most other shoes squeeze your forefoot so much. Very nice looking shoe as well.
