I used wear 8size for Frye's boost and this time I purchased the same size but these pairs are smaller than others.

No cushion or support whatsoever. Too bad because the shoe is perfect otherwise. So soft leather. great style. But like walking on cement. Oh, BTW Toms avalon slip on has way more cushion than these.

I bought these a week ago, and so far, while I love the color and the style, I feel like they're trying to kill my feet. In my pair at least, the right is smaller than the left. I'm hoping they stretch out a little at least, because they look great.

The shoe is very comfortable and looks very elegant on my feet. Its light weight making it ideal for whole day wearing. I bought this after comparing it to three other shoes that I was considering and the feel and color of the shoe won me over. The leather, in my opinion, is a bit too sensitive. I wore the shoes after it had rained and I saw black spots on my shoe. I have now bought the protectant but it doesn't clean the spots. This happened on day 3 of buying the shoe. This is the only reason I am marking the product as average. If you spend this amount you expect it to last.

I normally take a size 8 but after reading some of the reviews about the shoes running small I ordered 8.5. They fit ok but snug at first. By the end of the day my feet were hurting. I should have gone for size 9. At this point I've already worn them a full day so assume that I can't return them. I'm so disappointed because they look nice. I've read that there are ways to stretch leather shoes and possibly after time they will stretch but I will probably have to go through pain before I have comfort. Bottom line - nice shoes but definitely go up a size or more.

I absolutely loved these shoes while I still had them. I bought them in the spring for a two month overseas trip and walked miles in them. They felt tight so I went up a half size and they were perfect, comfortable, and adorable. The neutral grayish color went with everything from jeans to dresses. Unfortunately, two holes developed at the bottom of the heels six month after purchase. I was hoping to have these shoes for a couple of years so it was a big disappointment. Frye is honoring the warranty and has sent me a credit for them since they currently don't have my size and color.

I just received these shoes today, when I opened box and I realized that these shoes are Suede not leather! They are also a little darker blue. The fit is true to size and very comfortable and soft. Except they are SUEDE!!

Love the look and feel of these shoes. Very comfortable for walking. However after wearing these about 5-6 days a week for 3 weeks they have already developed holes in the tread of the heels. Yes I live in nyc and walk more than the average person but I was hoping these shoes would at least make it through one summer. Beautiful shoe but disappointed in the quality.

I got the Melanie Slip-on in metallic in January expecting this to be my everyday shoe. I ordered a size 9 and returned them for a size 8 1/2 because they ran on the larger size and other reviews said that the leather will soften. When I first got them they were fantastic. I got a ton of compliments, and the shoes gave me pretty good support/went with most of my wardrobe. I expected to buy an additional color in the near future. However, the shape unfortunately wore out quickly and the soles don't seem to have a lot of life left. I was excited to see these through the spring and (hopefully) summer, but they didn't last more than a couple months (jan-mar). Great shoe if you want to save them for special occasions but not the Frye quality/durability I have come to expect and admire.

I had an allergic reaction from these shoes , I have missed work and have been to the doctor twice ! My feet are still swollen from these shoes!!!

I own a pair from 2 years ago in cognac & love them. Very disappointed to get the grey- once back in stock, and the fit was very loose across the top of my foot.
