I bought these for my son as a gift, and he seemed to like them a lot. I can add they are very nice looking sneakers, and are true to size. the colors were blue/silver

The shoes came quick, they’re great for arch/heel support. I run frequently in the gym at an incline so this helped absorbed the shock from running at an elevated angle. Great shoes awesome price!

Pleased with the fit of these shoes. I've bought them before and they held up so well I bought them again. A great value for the money.

I just received these and put them on. They are pretty comfortable for new shoes. They have a nice amount of room in the toe area. The insoles are nice and cushioned. We'll see how those hold up. They sit lower around my ankles than I was expecting. THey should be fine, but I'd want something with more ankle support for long walks. If you want a mid or high top shoe, these are not that. I have narrow feet for their lenght and these feel fairly secure and as they loosen up a bit I'll be able to lace them a bit snugger if needed. My heel stays well planted so no issues there. For the price, these seem to be some of the better shoes I've puirchased.

Shoe was 1/2 size to short. Reordered 1/2 size up and they felt great.

shoe is made from excellent materials, if I would have ordered a half size larger they would have been perfect. love the outsoles, extremely shock absorbent. had to return because my toes were rubbing against the stiching.

Felt very comfy out of the box. Quality materials think the shoes will last a long time.

For the price you can't beat this shoe.

These shoes are everything I hoped for. The only downside is that there is a "squeek" and "squelch" sound when I walk. It's loud enough to attract attention in quiet places. I'm hoping it will lessen with time.

Half size too small. Will reorder.

I'm very happy with the ASICS Contend 4. The fit, both length and width, is just right. The shoes are light, comfortable, and look great. Somehow they make my size 12, extra wide feet look smaller, while still fitting great. Nice shoes, and reasonable price. I will recommend them to friends. Also, the free next day delivery from Zappos was great too.

These are a great shoe with a great price. I usually buy Nikes, but have had these before. They look good and feel good, but a little cheaper. The arch is almost as good as Nike. Feel great and wear nicely.

This is the 2nd pair of this shoe I have purchased. It's a great shoe for the money - lots of "cushioning" - very comfortable to walk in. More comfortable then other Asics shoes costing 2x as much. I am a big Asics fan- I am at the age where feet are starting to hurt and Asics are a dream to walk in.

They are so comfortable that even with driving a long distance I wear them. I normally would take my sneakers off and wear my Ugg house shoes(for comfort), but I don't have to if I am wearing these! I have stopped wearing some of my other sneakers because they are not as comfortable.

I normally buy Saucony, changed up with the Asics. They feel the same in overall comfort with more stabilization in the heel area (over the Saucony) which I liked. Normally, I wear a 12 shoe but size up to 13 in athletic shoe. Just started to wear them, we'll see how they hold up to the Saucony.

Great shoe. Size and width we exact and shipping quick. Now I wear special orthotics in my shoes and replacement of the inner sole was easy. Would order again from Zappos when I need another pair.

These shoes are so comfortable that I just bought my second pair. Here's the problem, though: the top of the toe area is thin and, after awhile, my big toenail went through, creating an unsightly hole. Now I stick a piece of duct tape on the inside at the area the big toenail hits (I have to do this on some other shoes with the same problem). I can't tell it's there when wearing them, and it solves the problem. Otherwise, I would never buy them again.

Nice shoe but for my foot it was definitely a half size small. Returned the 11.5 for 12 and all is good. Comfortable right out of the box. Use it for walking exclusively and it is great. Used to be a runner and I would say that the cushioning is a little bit "spongy" for running and I would reduce my rating for support if that was my main use. Have had many pairs of Asics over the years and feel that the brand is very reliable in performance. I would buy this particular shoe again.

I am a 65 year old woman with chronic plantar fasciitis, walk 6+ miles a day, 7 days a week. I always buy men’s shoes because of the extra width. Love these shoes. Took a few walks to break in but after that, held up well. The only “issue” is by big toe broke through the mesh at the top. But by the time I noticed, I needed to replace them anyway. Back to buy 3 more pairs.

The look and fit are good. It seems to be a little tight in width, however it has broken in nicely. Great look if you are looking for a dark shoe.

Overall, a well-fitting shoe and mostly comfortable, although there is a bit of a 'hard' feel. The mesh top near the tip can potentially wear and tear IF you have a big toe that tends to curl up a little.

I’m satisfied with this purchase. Thank goodness for Zappos’ no hassle return policy. This is the third attempt this month to find a pair of shoes for me. The first pair fit but were unappealing. The second pair were too small. Thumbs up on this pair. They were wide enough and look great.
