These are my favorite shorts! I'm tall, and finding shorts that are not too short is difficult. These are great in the longer length, because even if you decide to fold the waistband over to shorten them a bit, it lies flat! I love wearing these in hot weather, because of their breathable fabric. The 3 pockets are totally usable, which is not always the case with women's clothing. I love the small zippered pocket for my housekey, lip balm, and debit card, when I don't want to carry a purse. Best of all, these are comfy enough to wear at home, snuggling or stylish enough to wear out. They look great with the brand's matching baseball cap too, here on Zappo's. I'd love to order more colors.

These shorts not only look good, but they feel good. Absolutely love them!

3 day hiking trip and these shorts were amazing! No chafing or digging in, they were light and airy!

I absolutely love this shorts! I bought them in every color. I typically wear a large, but went with mediums as the legs fit better.

Finally found the perfect pair of shorts. They are comfortable, wear well, don't ride up, and look great. I am 5'5" and 145. I have full hips and legs and have struggled finding shorts that I want to wear. I originally purchased one pair. After receiving the first, made my second purchase of other colors. I am now buying a second pair of each color just in case North Face decideds to discontinue.

Excellent for walking, hiking and even the gym! Has a zip pocket in front for keys. Very comfortable and breathable fabric!

I bought these shorts for a sailing weekend earlier this year as they were quick-dry. I am petite and athletic built, and sometimes have a hard time finding shorts that are not too long or looking like a tutu while offering enough room for muscular thighs. Those fit great, are comfortable, have pockets... they have been my go-to casual shorts all summer, I've literally been wearing them every weekend! So I just got a second pair in preparation for a trip to Costa Rica, they are likely to be perfect for everything from hiking to water sports. As a reference, an XS fits perfectly for 5'2", 120#.

Versatility at its finest! My new go-to shorts! I purchased multiple colors after I received my first pair. Great for a casual look with a t-shirt and flip flops, or for your next adventure, from land to sea! Comfortable, lightweight, moveable, quick-drying. I'm 5'3" and 120 lbs. The XS regular fits me perfectly!

The band on it is Super comfy! The only drawback is that they are wide from the leg opening wished they were a bit tighter but other than that it's must buy

I bought a pair in a department store in gray. Favorite pair of shorts I own. Decided I needed more, so I went to Northface to buy three more pairs in variety of colors. Going on cruise next month...all four pairs are coming with me!!

I bought these shorts to use for my daily walks. The front pockets are deep enough to hold my cell phone and the small zippered pocket is great for keys or a credit card. The length is just right and I know I'll enjoy the quick dry fabric for hiking his fall.

Super lightweight and breathable. Wore them walking around Asheville in 90+ heat and stayed cool. They are long enough to cover my legs without being too long.

I use these shorts for hiking and the beach and they fit great, dry fast, overall very comfortable! I've had various different shorts from other brands over the years and for some reason the shorts always tend to "ride up", especially after starting to sweat while hiking. Didn't have to worry about these shorts at all. I ordered two pairs of black and one of every other color. North Face, please do not stop making these shorts!

I found these shorts in a sporting goods store and bought several more pairs online. They are really comfortable and the zip pocket is a usable size. These shorts are perfect for running errands, riding my bike, kayaking, etc. They also dry quickly! The only downside is they are currently unavailable in the longer length!

These wash really well and seem to hit at the right spot - not to long and not to short! Bought one and went back for two more.

Bought this for my wife from the North Face store in Hawaii. This is one of the few "active/athletic shorts" that has a pocket, and we have been looking for a couple of years. She is about 5'0" and 100 lbs and the XS fits perfect. The best part is that it is lightweight, stays cool for hot Hawaii weather, has a comfortable waistband, and the material is stretchy. She can carry her iPhone 7 in the pocket, which is goes deep all the way down to the bottom of the shorts. I bought it for her when we go for long walks on the weekends, comfortable and she can carry her phone and keys. However, she also uses it as pajamas. It also has been casual enough for lunch when paired with sandals. Very versatile. Bought 3 more since she liked it so much. She likes the dark gray color best, but also has one khaki colored version as well.

Great pair of shorts and can throw them in the dryer with no shrinkage!

These are the fourth pair of Aphrodite shorts that I have purchased and they are the most comfortable shorts I own. I wear them golfing, over a swimming suit to go to the pool, and just to run around in on the weekends. They are the perfect weight and are stylish. I highly recommend!

I really liked these shorts. I'm not a 'shorts' person because I'm not a fan on my legs but these are great. I got the SM. I'm a size 4/27 and got the 6" inseam. They are comfortable and flattering. I ziplined in them in really hot weather in Jamaica and they were perfect.

It's very hard for me to find shorts that fit my butt and thighs, that aren't huge in the waist. These shorts are perfect!!

The wide elastic waistband is really comfortable. I much prefer it to a regular zippered/snap waistband
