I love these shorts! Since I have a very difficult time finding shorts I like, I just ordered two more pairs to take on vacation. At 5'8 and over the age of 50, I am slightly self-conscious about the length - but they are too comfortable to really care! The 6" inseam version is out of stock but I plan to order the longer version as soon as they become available.

Great fit and comfortable.

I love these shorts. I can kick around in them around the house or put a decent Tshirt on and go grab a casual bite to eat. Not too pricey for this brand as well. Bought a pair and then promptly ordered two more in different colors. Highly recommend.

I live in Florida and always look for durable, lightweight and sweat resistant/ quick drying fabrics. These shorts surpassed my expectations. They are true to size and I like the extra cinch at the waist. I'm 5'7 and they come mid-thigh so not too short either. Love the comfort and breathability. Definitely recommend!

I read reviews prior to buying, and this product had a very high rating. Now that I own them, I can see why! The comfort and fit are both amazing, and I think that I will buy all of the colors! As for the sizing, it seems to be true.

Really enjoyed how comfortable these shorts were. Bought them for a camping trip in CA and found them to be very versatile. Like the breath ability so much have brought them to the Bahamas. I bought the medium (my usual size) and they are a little loose but I prefer that.

I am 5' 4" tall and 145 lbs. The size Medium fits perfectly. Not too snug, not too loose. Just right. These shorts do not ride up and are completely comfortable and have pockets for your keys and wallet. Perfect for running errands and are lightweight. No ironing necessary and look great after laundering. Truly the best shorts on earth. Thank you, North Face.

Most women's pockets are small, you can fit a phone, keys, wallet, etc. The front pockets on these shorts are awesome. I can fit an iPhone 7 keys and wallet with no problem! They comfy and seem durable.

I Am 5 ft 2 and weigh 120 lbs and the small fit perfectly. I used them for hicking and beachwear. I love the red. It goes well paired with a black bikini top.

Live these shorts for hiking. Not too long and not too short. I love that they don't look like traditional cargo style hiking shorts. Very comfy, stretchy fabric and extremely comfortable wide, stretchy waistband with drawstring. I've worn them running also and although they don't have a brief like traditional running shorts, they worked well for this purpose with nothing riding up or falling down. Bonus that I can use them for both running and hiking when packing space is limited. Also, love the blue color--doesn't look like traditional hiking attire. I am usually a medium in nike, UA, TNF, and felt the medium in these is true to size.

Soft and comfortable, I'm going to wear them all the time this summer. I love the color, goes well with so many tops.

I needed shorts for a trip to Italy and Greece. I wanted clothing that was light weight, and wouldn't wrinkle too badly, since we were living out of a suit case for 2 weeks. THESE SHORTS WERE AMAZING. So much more comfortable when walking throughout the cities, going up paved hilly roads, etc. I personally am a fan of the elastic waistband, instead of the button zipper fly. I have a belly, so it was just so much more comfortable, than a belted short. =)

Finally, I have found the best looking, best fitting, most comfortable shorts. They are so silky soft and lightweight. The waist is perfect, the drawstring isn't bulky and the longer length is just right. This is the first time buying The North Face but it certainly won't be the last!

They come in six colors for every taste and color coordination. An excellent product that I highly recommend. No inside liner to cut out. Very comfortable even though they came in the wrong color. :D I love the longer length - I cannot wear the shorty shorts so I appreciate a good hiking short with a 6" inseam! Even though the green color came (I ordered the bluff) I kept them anyway since they work well with my wardrobe. Thanks Zappos!

The M size is a perfect 6/8 size. Being over 40, I choose the longer length & they are great. Not too long at all.

Exactly what I have been looking for. Great for casual or hiking. Deep pockets are perfect for phone. I have hips and these fit comfortably. Have in grey and black.

I ordered these shorts for a trip to Aspen, CO, and Bozeman, MT. I wore them all day long yesterday on a hike on Aspen Mountain and another hike along the river. They are super comfortable. They look great. They fit perfectly. I love the fact that I can enter my height, weight, etc. and the website recommends a size. I followed the recommendation (size small) and could not be happier with the fit. I did order the long (six inch) inseam. I'm glad I did, as I think the shorter ones would have been too short for my age (53). I washed and dried the shorts last night. They are beautiful and ready for some hiking in Bozeman! I am considering ordering another pair in a different color, and I will definitely order the Aphrodite 2.0 pants for a September trip to Scotland and England. I love your products.

Great length (got the shorter length); I sized up for a more roomy fit; super comfortable with the draw string waist; nice deep pockets in the front and one zipper pocket.
