These might be the perfect casual shorts! They are roomy & comfy without making you look frumpy. Actually they look quite cute on! Take my word for it, they are 100x cuter in person than in the pic. Highly recommend!

Absolutely love these shorts for hiking. Extremely light weight and soft. No chafing. I ordered a size Medium and usually wear a 2-4 in most pants/shorts. Easily washable and quick dry which makes them the perfect hiking shorts. I have three pairs. Last years model and this years, both great quality and stylish.

I ordered the 'Urban Navy Heather' color. I am a pear shaped body type with a booty & these fit me great. I appreciate that the legs aren't tight & clingly like some other shorts I've purchased and breath nicely. I bought these to wear on a trip to Disney World & found the only downside is that the fabric got 'nubby' or pilled where my crossbody purse touched my shorts. Otherwise they are relaxed & comfortable.

Great for a walking commute or lounging around the house and definitely looks nice enough for casual outings. I bought one pair in a medium and then two more in other colors in a large. I am 5'9", 158 lbs. The medium is a more appropriate fit (though it shows panty lines), but I prefer the large pairs for unconstrained comfort!

I’m 5,6 120 usually wear a size 26/27 (2). I have slim legs.. Ordered size small and they fit big, mostly in the legs. XS worked perfectly for me. Ordered a second pair. Rise is perfect. This fabric is great when you sweat! I did notice in the Aphrodite pants, same fabric, does start to pill a bit and everything sticks to it! Love these shorts so far though!

I had to pull these up to my belly button for better fit. They don't "hug" any areas on you.

I love the light fabric these shorts are made of, and the waistband is comfortable. They seem to run a little small - I'd recommend sizing up if you like your shorts on the loose side. They are a little puffy below the waistband, but with an untucked shirt, it's not a problem.

Using for hiking purposes. Very light weight and comfortable

So comfortable - my new favorite shorts! Just wish there was a cell pocket because the front pockets don't seem secure enough for cell.

These shorts are great in every aspect except for the higher rise (I have to fold the waistband over or they cover my belly button) and the Crockery Beige color. This color makes my tan legs look white...

Super lightweight fabric that I'm sure would dry very quickly. Fit comfortably but the legs on me were just too wide.

these are good shorts, not too short, not too long. the material is a bit weird, but it is fine. I like the fact that they have pockets.

The Aphrodite Shorts are my favorite shorts for hiking and relaxing: the small zippered pocket in addition to large (yes, large!) slash side pockets keeps things like keys secure, allowing the wearer to leave the bag behind for short jaunts. The only downside is they do run a bit large: I usually wear a Medium but could've easily fit in a Small for this style.

Comfy and soft, short but not too short, these fit perfectly.

I truly adore the North Face Aphrodite capris and pants, and own a few pairs of each style. The shorts, however, are a bit disappointing to me because although the larges fit well, both the 4" and 6" styles rode up between my thighs. I had to keep yanking them down in front, which isn't a fun way to walk. With such light material, I guess it can't be helped, but disappointing nonetheless because otherwise they are a cute fit, love the elastic waist that still manages to look stylish (for hiking/travel) and the longer 6" inseam is the perfect length for my 35" inseam legs. I am 6' tall with 44" hips, 35" waist and the larges were a better fit than the XLs.

I am 5'6", 123lbs, and the small fit perfectly. The shorts are comfortable and don't chafe even during long runs. The pockets are deep enough that my phone does not fall out if I am walking. I liked the first pair so much that I ordered another pair soon after. However, I can't give them 5 stars because I sat down on a rock that was not too much rougher than a sidewalk, and the shorts instantly got about 100 snags. It looks awful. So I will use the 2nd pair for running, but I have to remember not to sit down outside!

Love these shorts. However, the material seems extremely cheap. I received a pair and they were torn in the front and I reached out to TNF and they said I had to submit a warranty claim. So now they're back at the warehouse and apparently have to pay to have them repaired.

Unfortunately, I had to return these shorts because they were too short for my taste. Otherwise, they fit well, the pockets were deep and the additional zip pocket would be very handy. Nice fabric. I would have ordered the 6" length from North Face, but none were available. I had to find a North Shore brand pair elsewhere which are perfect for me, and which I will keep and enjoy. Haven't washed them yet, so I have no opinion in that area.

I bought these shorts hoping they would be great for our trip to Universal Studios Orlando and they did not disappoint! We went in the beginning of August (hot) and they were cool, breathable, and comfortable! The side pockets held my phone and the small zip pocket in the front was perfect for our room key and express pass. I wear a size 12/14 in jeans and an XL in sweatpants. I have large legs from years of playing soccer and need room for my thighs. I bought these in an XL regular and they gave me enough room to move comfortably. I would like to try the long for more coverage to see how they would fit but that's for another time! I teach PE so they will be great for class too!

I do like these shorts! I hate trying to find shorts that fit the way I want cause I'm usually disappointed. Bought a regular XL. I usually wear size 12/14 jeans and XL sweatpants (PE Teacher) and they fit nicely. Wish they were a little longer. When standing tall my pinky finger hits the bottom hem of shorts. Didn't have them in the long for me to try so they might be better. I have thick thighs from many years playing soccer and doing sports and these are roomy enough for my thighs to move really well in. Also love the deep pockets for cell phone. Very comfortable and lightweight.

These shorts fit well but they are way shorter than I expected. I do like all the pockets and zips

Comfy shorts, I just was looking for something a little more structured for hiking.

These shorts are very comfortable, especially when hiking. I'm impressed with the quality and how decently priced they are.
