I have had these pants for a month and the material is not at all durable. I purchased these in black to wear to work in an office so they are not at all misused. I thought that a seam was fraying and it was the actual material that was pulled, and in numerous places upon a full inspection. I wish I could say I had caused the damage while on an epic adventure, but that wasn't the case. I am very disappointed as normally gear from North Face holds up exceptionally well and I loved the look and feel of the pants initially.

Wore once and there are pulls? Definitely makes me question the workmanship. Not impressed.

The material pilled immediately and seems to attract every bit of fuzz, hair, thread and dirt that it contacts. Cannot clean the stuff off the material even with a lint roller. I can only wear them around the house. I took a photo of the pants (on left) compared with an older pair of Lucy pants made of similar material.

The product peeled terribly after only one hike. They did not hold up at all. They were very breathable.

I am usually quite a happy and content TNF customer. I've always been pleased with their quality. I purchased these capris based on all the 5 star reviewers who stated that they love them, however I was utterly disappointed when these arrived. These capris are some of the poorest quality I've seen and definitely the poorest quality TNF has put out. The material is super thin and looks extremely fragile. I purchased the black and sizing was off. I thought I would end up buying many colors, needless to say that will not be happening and the black ones will be returned.

I bought these pants loving the comfort and style of them. They fit great but the material is not very good quality. I wore them to school once (about a 10 minute walk) with my backpack on. When I got home I looked at the back of the pants and they were all frayed, i'm guessing from my backpack... but I only wore by bag for 10 minutes. Definitely returning the pants. Can't imagine what quality they will be after wearing them for more than 1 day.

Nice attempt at a cuter-than-average hiking capri-but they look a little unkempt instead.

I love the way these pants fit, they are so comfortable. Unfortunately, they start pilling during the first week of wear and continue to do so, such that they look like pants I've had for years, rather than 6 weeks. They look worn and ragged with the material pilling. And the pilling can not be pulled off !

The fabric is not typical active wear. The bulk on the legs is overdone.

Loved these pants instantly because of the fit! I am 5 ft tall, 103 pounds and the fit is perfect. Unfortunatley, the fabric on these pants pill almost right away. I have worn one pair about 6 times and I'm now embarrassed to wear beacuse them they look so old and worn. Save your money.

I have 2 pair of the Aphrodite 2.0 Capris which I love. The fabric is 95% nylon, 7% elastane. New fabric is 93% nylon, 7% spandex. Fabric feels thin and is clingy. Returned item.

Capris were not sized like pair I got very recently. Fabric cheap, bottom of one pocket not sewn correctly. I love the first pair and wanted another like them. Supposed to be the same product but different color.

Unfortunately, these are awful. I have four pairs of them thinking they would be great travel/ casual work pants and occasional outdoor pants. First, they do NOT breathe. They were like wearing garbage bags around in hot weather. But more of a problem - they pilled like crazy! I've never had pants pill like this before. Now they are all so bad I can not even wear them as the pilled part feels like rough sandpaper and picks up lint. Awful.

This product might be worth it if the price were $19. I'm pretty sure the material won't hold up through even a couple of washes. Looks cheaply made too.

North Face is/was my favorite brand. I was so excited about these pants. After 1 day of wearing( at home) they are pilled on the rear and thigh. Bad quality. Seems like all good brands are going downhill.

The fabric on both pairs that I bought pilled almost immediately. When I returned the clerk said that other products of the same fabric had been returned. I didn't even need to show her the problem. She knew without looking.

I had 3 pairs these pants. One pair fell apart at the waistband so I ordered another pair. This pair was too small. Another trip to UPS.

After wearing once and one wash the triple stitching on one leg had pulled out. On contacting the warranty department they quickly and efficiently emailed me a gift certificate to cover the purchase cost. This was good as I then saw a lot of pilling and a snags on one leg which I had not seen previously. The are totally unwearable. Will be trying a totally different style and hope they are more resilient. The capris score 1 star but warranty department was good.

The previous Aphrodite capri had a bit more "hold" and shape while wearing. Also had a more sturdy waist band. These pants just "hang". Anything in the pocket sags the whole area and drags down the waist band. The tie string that is suppose to hold the pants up slips and will not stayed tied. Imagine a gunny sack split for two legs and ,tied at the waist with a rope. I sure miss the previous style. Can't believe North Face can not offer a better product, especially for the price! I followed the cleaning directions to the letter, so I've ruled out that problem. Unfortunately, I was hoping they were like the previous Aphrodite capri and now own two pair of these. Oh, well. Good for "slothing" around the house.
