I was looking for cute pants to wear in summer that would be cool, comfortable, and versatile. I originally purchased in a medium with fit finder, but I had to get the small (5'4, muscular, 130). Loved them when I originally got them, I could dress up or down and so comfortable! However, I found with wear they snag easily and pill with any rubbing (buttocks, from purse etc), and they also stretch out and slip down with anything in pockets. They shrink back with washing, but I'm hesitant to wash too much because of the pilling. So although I was going to purchase more, I am rethinking that decision.

I loved these pants when they were Lucy brand -- and I could get them in a plus size. Now North Face has taken over and I can't get them any more. Please, North Face, add at least one more size!

I love the color. But the pants material felt too flimsy. I wasn't a fan of it.

I love these pants and have a couple in other colors. I wasn't into this color. It looks more grey online but are more purple in person. Did end up returning because of the color.

Awkward looking on. Thighs were wide and made legs look stumpy. Very comfy and nice colors though.

Love the capris. Comfortable and fit well. Hate this color. It's a purplish gray, so I returned them and got the darker graphite gray.

I have several pairs of these capris and pants. Four out of six get snags in the material at random spots. I wash them individually on gently cycle with cold water, and my washer is new. There's no known excuse for this. I have had a seamstress look at them and was told it's due to the thin quality of fabric. I sent one pair back to TNF three weeks ago to look st them and they have yet to be logged into their system. I love how comfortable these capris and pants are, and I am not a rough person on my clothes. This is truly frustrating and dealing with TNF isn't easy nor quick about helping you. I have a friend who bought the pants and the same thing has happened to her. I do t like to leave negative comments, but feel I need to share my experience with others so they are aware of this possible happening to them.

I would recommend going with your true size and not what the sizing chart suggests. I needed a medium and they are sold out. Looking forward to trying the right size.

I purchased this pants for travel purposes. I typically wear a size 10 in North Face so I purchased the large. The large was too big around the waist and was baggy through the thighs. I took them to a local NF store and tried on the medium. The medium was better fitting, but fit a bit too snug around the tush and thighs. It is probably just my odd body shape, but this pant was just not for me. Ended up buying the women's paramount 2.0 convertible pants and was much happier with the style, fit and purpose.

would have kept them if the color was tan or grey but it was a blah mix of both colors

Super comfy and stylish. I was excited to wear. I have worn twice. Once to a quick shopping errand in town and to a meeting. I drove and sat the rolled luggage into hotel. I am dissappointed to say i have 2 material pulls that go all the way up the leg. Reminds me of pantyhose-never did like them. They dry quick as stated but i think they are a poor choice for camping or other outdoor activities. I had hoped to wear kayaking.

After only one wear, I noticed them pilling on the backside. Another reviewer mentioned it prior to my purchase and I hoped it was a one off. Nope! I, too, expected better quality from North Face I can only wear them around the house since having butt pilling in public is not my thing.

I bought these capris for a canoe trip. I really like how they fit, lightweight and dry quick. However after wearing for one day, with no affects from the environment I found 2 areas had started pulling and fraying around the inside leg sticking seam?! I bought them as I thought Northface made quality clothing, but I am very confused on discovering this after wearing on day 1 ever. I will be contacting Northface for a replacement.

After leisurely wearing these pants around the house for a day, the fabric pilled up in several areas. I emailed customer service and never heard back from them about it. Extremely disappointed in both merchandise quality and customer service of The North Face and will be taking my business elsewhere in the future.

These feel nice on are very thin and stretchy. I am petite and I don't like them hitting at the fattest part of my calf so I altered out at least 3 inches keeping the adjustable hem part so they were at the thin part just below my knee. I really like how they look when fresh washed before the seat bags out. I wore them for Golf, but they were not good because they don't have back pockets, I wore them for yardwork, but they're very thin and get got snagged easily, ultimately, they sagged quite a lot in the seat. I wore them shopping and and walking and they were perfect. I these would not be great for hiking I don't think they're sturdy enough for that, and they're not great for golfing and they're not great for yardwork but they look really good and the front pockets are deep. There's no good place for your phone because they are so thin and that makes the phone look so prominent. And again there's no back pockets to slip it in.

I usually love the Aphrodite line...I have multiple items from it. This time I feel like the cut on these capris is tighter than it used to be. Using my older items for comparison. I wear a size 6-8 so a medium is usually perfect. But these were very snug/tight across the butt area, so they were sent back unfortunately.

Review for Zappos VIP Points(What's this?)
These are great pants but for one thing: the fabric is totally wrong for pants of any kind, especially for active stuff. The fabric pills like crazy and looks really shabby after just a few wearings. I have purchased several pair of this style in various lengths and colors. It only seems to be the gray that is really a problem, although even the other colors don't seem to be as durable as North Face products used to be.

Constant itching and poking at the seams, clear nylon type thread, stretchy thread , pilling of fabric, very disappointing for the brand and price.

They are comfortable, but for the price you pay for them, they should last longer. I wore and washed (per instruction) them twice and the material started to pill. Looked great at first, now not so much.

These have a non stretch waist band, unlike the other identical NF capris that I own. Very disappointed. Loved these pants until now. The rest of the pant appears the same as others I own and wear frequently.

For the price, I was hoping for better quality. I returned a pair due to a seam coming apart. The fabric also gets snags easily then runs. I can't recommend these nor will I repurchase.

I mainly wear these as a casual pant for shopping around town, walking and light hiking. After a few washes (inside out, cold water, hang dry) they became pilly/bally.

COMFY - yes. Stylish - yes. Durable - NO. I bought two pair for intended use for hiking & casual work and out with friends. They are cute and they are comfortable, but that only lasts for a couple hours until your first snag. The tags say "Durable abrasion and snag resistant construction" - both pair of pants snagged easily (one by my dog and other by my computer??!!). I've worn one pair only 3 times and have not even put them to the test on serious hikes and they are already pilling and looking like I've had them for years. I would not recommend these for hiking or for anyone who has pets. Both of my brand new pants - I can now not wear out to dinner or work.
