I wear this same pant many times a week, but the sizing has changed. This order is the same size I always wear, but it is smaller. Great style and fabric, but the fit is tight. Disappointed.

I love love love the fabric of these pants! My issue is that I ordered the "short" version, and they are still so long that I'm walking on the bottoms unless I'm wearing my hiking boots, which give me a few extra inches. Everything else I've ordered in "short" has fit well so I am disappointed about the fit of these, but I am still able to wear them on hikes. I am 5'3" for reference.

These pants are very comfortable as well as stylish, but as I stated they snag so easily. All of my pairs of pants this has happened too even in the wash. I think for the cost of these pants, the material should be better quality. The NF are the only pants like this that I have the material issues with. I own seeral pairs of these pants as well as owning them in the also in the capri style, and my other name brands that I have in this style don't snag.. Therefore, I am reluctant to purchase these pants and capris any more. It's also happened to my friends who own these same pants, so it's not just me.

The pants are super comfortable and true to size. The only disappointment I have is that the material has started to pill shortly after a few wears. I machine wash and hang dry them.

I tried 3 different sizes: small/reg, small/short and xsmall/reg. The small/short were slightly better than the small/reg, but still too baggy. The xsmall looked the best style-wise, but the rise was too short, so I ended up returning them all. I prefer a higher rise and sometimes even order a tall just for the rise, despite my relatively short height, 5’3”. If you don’t mind a slightly baggy look, these should be fine for you. I prefer a slimmer style.

Short length still too long for petites. I love the capri version of these pants so thought I'd try the regular pant version for winter. I am 5'3 and 140 lbs, carrying weight in my stomach. In the capri a size medium fits me perfectly so I ordered the medium with 30 in inseam in the pants. The pants with the 30 inch inseam are long enough to wrap around my heel and go to mid-foot. If I wore them with hiking boots or athletic shoes they would puddle a lot...I think there would be too much length even I wore them with high heels, lol. Alas, the short inseam is not actually for short people.

I bought these pants for my trip to Acadia NP. I was looking for lightweight pants. I am 130 lbs and size 4 fits me perfectly. They are super comfy and stylish. However, this regular fit is way too long for me. I am 5'3". I was bummed that they are too long. Even when I wore them with my boots and they all bunched up around my ankles. I did not take them on my trip. :( At this point, I will have to return them. I'd exchange them if there was a shorter inseam.

I really like these pants. They fit nicely and look good on. I can wear a size small or medium in these. The medium are more comfortable and drawstring pants allow to make them fit just right. My only con is the pants seem cheaply made for the price and after wash and drying once they started to fray. I really wish they were made a little better.

Pants ok but unhappy with TNF...returned two winter coats and it took over 4 weeks to get my refund. Buy from a store. Jacket quality poor. Other brands better

These pants are comfortable/stretchy enough to wear to yoga class. However, the fabric is far too flimsy to classify as "ultra-durable". It pills like crazy between the thighs after walking a very short distance, and develops tons of little snags while hiking on casual green trails. I sat on a rock for a few minutes, and the butt developed so many snags! These are nice for casual wear, but are NOT suitable for outdoor activities if you want them to hold up. I wear them strictly as yoga pants now. Not the type of quality I expected from TNF, especially at their price points.

I love these pants. Have several pairs. But don't plan on the material staying new looking for long. Pills, looks worn and have only had short time. I wash on cold and delicate. At this price wish they'd use better material.

These were described as pants and since I already own several pairs of the original Aphrodite pant, which I love, I rushed to purchase. I ordered the same size I typically wear, a large, for my 5'6" frame but these are not pants. I would describe them more like peddle pushers and tight at the calf. I'm still keeping them because other than that I love the fit at my waist (and the back pockets, which are new are a plus) but these are NOT pants. Be warned.

Great pants, but they're way too long for me. I'm 5'4 and the regulars are super long. They look stupid. My mom is 5'7 and I'm going to have to give them to her. Bummed out.

I bought one pair and loved them so much I bought another pair. I wanted to use them for hiking in the backcountry. I was amazed at the FlashDry technology after the first trip. I spent a couple of hours hiking through drizzling rain. When I arrived at my campsite, the pants were actually dry! However, I was disappointed after my second trip in the backcountry. The pants were destroyed. All the threads were frayed and they are no longer suitable for wear in public.

Too snug in groin. Nice fabric and liked the cut of the legs. Having it too snug the groin dictates my choices of not purchasing.

Purchased this item because they look like my favorite brand "Lucy" who I heard might of merged with NF. So style was what I liked but i am torn on the material. It is stiff and itchy but what I like it that they fit great and LONG... I am 5'9" with a 34" inseam and they are long... so for that alone I am keeping them but hoping they soften up. I wish they made them with more of a soft athletic material.

I'm not sure how anyone under 5'6" is wearing these pants. I am 5'4" with a 29" inseam. A 32" inseam seems to be geared toward the uber long and lean bodies out there. Even at 6 feet tall, my son only has a 34" inseam. I love the look and feel of these pants. In every other way, a medium fits my 5'4", 145 pound athletic build perfectly. But they are obscenely long. Like, nearly covering my shoe long. Yes, they have the handy cinch tie inside. This just makes them look like clown pants with all of the extra material ballooned out over my feet. I see that there is a short (30") option on the order site (not that I would consider 30" short - that's my 5'9" husband's inseam length). But in six months of regularly checking the website, there has not been a short available in any of the colors I would be interested in purchasing. Come on, North Face. We're not all 5'10". Average height of a female in the U.S. is 5'4" just in case you hadn't looked lately. I'd buy five of these pairs of pants in a heartbeat if I could get a proper length.

I have really liked this pant in the past. I own 2 already and 4 in the capris. I was excited to see the new colors and ordered the same size I currently wear, but it fit differently. The waistband was too tight to pull up over my hips and the pant legs were tighter as well. I ordered the next size up and they were baggy on me and way too big. Super sad as I have loved these pants for traveling; they are so comfortable. Guess I'll have to be extra careful with the ones I already have.

I wanted to love these pants, but the fit was too small in the waist, and a bit too loose in the legs for me. I am 5' 1" and 93 lbs and the XS fit a bit snug on the hip and looked a bit too loose not well fitted from the hip down. I loved the dark green/taupe color and the general design of the pant, but the fit was just not proportioned right for me in order for it to look and feel good on. The fabric is very lightweight, definitely a summer/spring style - but I was bummed to have to return them. Maybe the capri version would have looked better on me...anyway, back they go to the store!

I like the blue color and soft texture of these pants. Unfortunately the sizing is odd. The xs looked baggy and frumpy on me and the xxs was too small in the waist band. The waist is not very stretchy and was uncomfortable to pull over my hips. I wish I had read reviews before ordering since this seems to be a common issue.

These were true to size, comfortable, and flattering but definitely not meant for serious hiking. They pilled on the first day. They would be ok for lounging around the house or walking on paved trails.
