When I first saw these hanging on a store rack I thought the ruching along the seams looked a little silly, like paratrooper pants - but over time the look sort of "grew on me" and after reading reviews I ordered a pair. GREAT lounge pants, lightweight and airy! And now I really like the visual interest of the ruching.

I am 5'2" and these are long even though I bought the ones with the shorter inseam. Have to get them altered a couple of inches. Overall they are very comfortable..

Loved them but consider buying a size smaller

I am planning to wear it at hiking, road-trips and during long-distance travel. I am only concerned about the nylon material which is not good for the skin especially when you sweat. On the other hand, it fits fantastic, super comfortable and light.

These pants are great for climbing in. Very breathable, soft, easy-to-move in and lightweight. My only complaint is that the knees started showing loose threads and pilling after the first use. The fabric seems to be wearing down much faster than I would have expected, but otherwise these are one of my favorite climbing pants! The large pockets are very nice, and the one with a zipper is the perfect size for a small phone. Overall pretty great pants for outside or gym climbing and travel.

The "Short" length is a lot more like "Regular". I tried these in the store in a "Regular" and they were way too long for 5'7" me. But the short is perfect.

Love these pants! Super comfy, fits true to size, love that they come in a shorter size as I'm only 5'2. They are slightly fitted, but just enough to keep them looking not so frumpy but not too much to make them uncomfortable.

super comfortable and light weight. a little too baggy for me, but I might just be between sizes (I am a 12 and I bought a large). also, they weren't entirely flattering on the backside.

Love the fit and style of these pants. But after just a couple of washes noticed the fabric pills quite a bit. So much that I only wear around the house or yard. Won't wear them otherwise, look really ratty and worn. I travel the world and these used to be my "go to". With a military discount, I bought two pairs. Still love the brand, just not some of the fabrics.

These are very comfortable and quite true to size. I run high end of a medium and the medium fit just fine. In fact, my biggest con is that after wearing them for an hour or so they start to sag and end up being too long (not too long prior to sagging) and you do have to pull them up and retie them more than I expected. I work for a land trust and we are out hiking at times and these are very comfortable and allow full movement. I can't say how warm they keep you when it's cooler out but there's probably enough room for thermals. I was outside in the 40s and the rest of my body was cold but legs weren't too bad. I tried on several Columbia pants for hiking and didn't like the fit. I would recommend these!

These are wonderful and stylish for Pilates or yoga. Two design wishes: (1) I wish the fabric didn't absorb heat when out walking in the sun because they quickly feel very hot. (2) No pocket for phone. But definitely my new go-to for Pilates!

I wear these pants all the time. I love them. My favorite pants. They are so comfortable. The only downside is that the pants have pilled terribly so I can no longer wear them when I teach or go out, just for hiking. I own a pair of capris and I have not had this problem. They are different colors, the pants are black so I wonder if there is something with the color? I'm going to return them, but happy to see that I can replace them.

I love these. The outdoor industry seems to have an aversion to curvy women, but these pants fit great. They have a bit of stretch which helps through the hip and thigh. And since they have an elastic waist, that means I don't have to have them taken in. I got them for hiking, so I do with they had more/deeper pockets. They are a thinner, less durable fabric, but I haven't had any holes or tears yet.

I love these pants. Super comfortable. However the "regular length" is a little long for the small size. I'm 5"7 1/2 and these touch the ground when worn with shoes. I may end up getting them hemmed.

Besides comfortable these pants fit in any situation. I wore them all over Italy. I have capris as well as long. Love the black.

I bought these for travel because they seemed like they would be comfortable on an upcoming long flight. I've worn them hiking twice (once in cool rainy weather, once on a warm fall day). They are very comfortable and also look good. Unprompted, my husband commented (while hiking behind me) that they were slimming. I ordered a second pair the next day. The fabric is probably not very durable (it's very lightweight) which might make them best for casual hikes rather than anything rough (that's the reason for only 4 stars).

I ordered the short size large. They were still pretty long & they were way too baggie. I normally wear a 12 petite @ athleta/gap. I just suggest ordering down. Great pants overall!

I bought the same pant in the mid calf length and it fit perfectly. This in a short regular was too tight and too long to be perfect.

I have a pair of the Aphrodite jogger which are comfortable but feel slightly restricting around the bum. When I tried these on in store I knew immediately I wanted to buy them in every color available. Fortunately, for my wallet, the store only had black In stock. The reason why I bought these was because I'm currently rehabbing my knee after surgery. I needed a pant that I could do my physical therapy in and would be easy to pull up over my knee for message and use of the TENs unit. Prior to this I was wearing adidas track pants that I felt overheated in. These pants are extremely lightweight and breathable. At 5'4" I opted to stick with the regular length and while it's a tad long, I prefer them length over the short inseam. This also has a drawstring at the bottom so you can tighten them around. theankle so they drag. If there was something I could change about these pants, I would probably put a slightly higher rise and maybe a zip cargo pocket on the leg. Hoping north face will come out with a version for colder weather. As in same fit, but heavier material. But please don't get rid of this pant!!
