These pants fit better than I expected. I've never worn this brand pant before, so I ordered a color in the 2XL and a color in the 3XL. I normally wear a size 18W (My weight is proportional, with extra in the belly, upper butt, inner thighs and calves, which make pants interesting to find a good fit.) The 2XL was more than big enough. With one exception, the rise is too low in the front; wish the front rise was about one more inch. The back rise is just about perfect, though. Great rear end shaping, too, even though the material is thin and comfy. I do not see that this material will pill, as previous reviews have commented. The other issue is I like pants to be long but not too long, so I ordered the 32 inseam as that is the inseam I order for jeans. I will order the 30 inseam next. I have to roll up the 32 in this brand and this style. I am 5'7", and my legs are not long (my body/torso isn't long either, so I'm not sure what's up. Ha.) So far on this hot mid-humid day (it's due to be about 83 degrees today on June 3 in mid MI), these pants are perfect, indoors in an air conditioned office and outside in the humid heat. Not a perfect fit for my body, but better than others. I would recommend because everyone's body is different and this material is pretty great so far. The real test will be how long they last without a seam ripping out in the rear end or front abdomen, and/or where thighs rub.

I buy a new pair every year and the style has evolved each time. I would prefer the waist tie to be on the inside and I like having two zippered pockets. That being said I love the material, it dries very quickly and I like the fit.

i would definitely buy these pants again. They are breathable, lightweight, and well designed. Very versatile, for hiking and athleisure for ambling about the city. Only con is that the elastic on the waist is a bit flimsy.

These pants were even better than I expected! A nice feminine touch on a tech pant. Great fit, with a bit of stretch. Great for exercise, running errands, yard work, and anything else your day may bring!!

Comfortable, look good, lightweight. You can tighten the ankle but it loosens after a while, not a game changer but just a strange system

I got these for walking and hiking. It serves that purpose. They are not comfortable as a cotton jogger but good outdoors. The adjustable ankle was important to me because I can use it when it's cold and in the summer I can rise up the ends. Oh and the extra zipper pocket it's a plus because I can put my car keys in and not worry about it falling.

I got these on sale, and they're super comfortable and really great for hiking. The only drawback is that the seams are fraying a bit after only two hikes.

They are nice comfy pants, my only issue they are mark as hiking pants I did some bush walking and they are ripping already after two trips outside I wouldn't recommend for nothing else than just some walking in a hiking trail.

I love the look and feel of these pants. They're lightweight and very soft. However they wrinkle like crazy no matter how quickly you get them out of the dryer and you're not supposed to use an iron which I didn't realize until it was too late and I burned a small hole in them before I even had a chance to wear them. Fortunately you can't really tell because of where the hole is and because of the "crinkly" look so I still wear them. I also hate that I have no place to put my phone when wearing them at work because there's no back pocket or leg pocket and it's too awkward to put my phone in my front pocket- plus it doesn't really fit anyway.

Good climbing pant, but the material is lightweight and not very durable

These are extremely comfortable and the fit is amazing! I took off one star because after only a few months there is a small pull in the fabric.

They are a bit expensive. I'm a front line worker nurse at a hospital I did attempt to get the half off offer. I was unsuccessful in hearing back from North face so I purchased them at full price. That was disappointing.

Comfortable for causal look.

I love these pants! The fit is great, I love the stretch and the ability to move in them. After a few months I've noticed some strings already and I feel like these won't hold up in the long run.

Great pants. Stylish. Useful that there are pockets, including a zippered one. A bit too long for my 5' frame.

I generally wear these while running errands or to doctor appointments.

I love the material of these pants, they feel great and so comfortable. The only problem is they are too long! I even ordered them in short length, but still have to roll them. I am 5'2"

I purchased this pants for going to camping, it was perfect for camping and very comfortable

I have these in 4 colors because they are great for work. They look professional, and are easy to move in. I have had issue with 2 of the 4 pants seam unraveling, which is why I rate only 4 stars.

This pant was recommended to me by a good friend who calls them "her favorite pant". I now own 3 pair because they are so comfortable. I have the Capri style as well. My favorite features are the pull on style and the fabric weight. They're nice as a windbreaker, sun blocker in summer. I live in Minnesota so i prefer more layers and the pull on style allows for that! Love em! I'd give 5 stars for more color selection.

I love these pants, even bought a second pair in another color. They are comfortable enough to run or hike in, but I wear them for everyday use as well. I'm 5'5 135lbs and the small fit great. The only downside is they do snag easily if you have a cat!

These are great pants, my sister and I each ordered a pair. Great for hiking in the summer or layering during colder months. Also quick drying, I've worn them paddle boarding a few times!

Comfy for walking and everyday but material does get piles but still like them

Since retired, I wear them every day at home and 6 months of camping.- both pants & capris wash & drip dry perfectly. North Face needs to work on pilling & snagging
