These are my favorites. I wear them for everyday and walking or trips where we might be out in the weather. Our trip to Scotland they came in handy. We had to hike to the top of a "hill". The weather changes with the snap of a finger, it became cloudy and windy and started to rain. We were waiting for the steam train to come back across the Glenfinnan Viaduct. These pants kept me dry and warm! My husband's jeans were soaked the rest of the day! Mine were wet but kept my legs dry and they dried quickly.

Love these pants for travel, I already have them in black. Very comfortable and have pockets. Recently had a sprite poured in my lap during turbulence on a flight and the pair I had on dried really fast!

The material just isn't the same. I have 2 pairs of these pants from a few years ago and was a bit disappointed that the recent Aphrodite pants are much thinner and flimsy. It may be good for hotter climates, but I was hoping to wear these year round like my old pairs. The North Face logo is also more of a sewn-in patch, which makes it seem cheaply made. For the high price point, I would expect better quality from North Face. The only plus side is that the color is a nice shade of grey. Please bring back the original Aphrodite.

Love these and wear them all the time however they started pilling after two or three wears and have threads coming out even though I don't wash them after every wear, wash them in protective bags and hang dry... Wouldn't buy unless on sale until they improve the durability of them

I bought my first pair of these pants years ago and they are still my favorite. Since then I have bought them in several colors. J'adore! Two issues, however: 1. Unfortunately, the sizing is very inconsistent. I own XS and they are perfect. I purchased 3 more pairs recently and all XS fit very differently. I could only keep 1 pair. 2. I am in constant search of these pants, which are so often out of stock. :-( That said, it is worth the trouble of ringing them and getting the right size, that's how much I love these pants. :-)

I absolutely love these pants. They are comfortable, light and stretchy, but the ruching is attractive on ladies who may not have their girlish figure anymore. I get no chafing when I wear these hiking. I took one star off bc I ordered 2 pair in different colors in short length and they were 33 inch inseam! The chart said they should have been 29. Very disappointing since they were not the easiest pants to hem and still have the drawstring.

Love the fabric of these pants! Have several Aphrodite styles in the "short" version, and these pants seem much longer than the others. I am 5'3" and am walking on the bottoms of the pants unless I'm wearing hiking boots, which give me a few extra inches.

I LOVE these pants. The fit is super flattering and they are so comfortable. The only reason I am not giving them five stars is that the fabric is pilling a little. Most people probably won't notice it but it bugs me a bit. But, everything else about these is perfect, I am ordering a second pair.

Fit perfectly, lightweight, great for hiking casual wear.

Love the pants, very comfortable. Hard to find pants long enough, but these are! They fit perfectly when the arrived, but 4 stars for shrinking so much in the wash, especially considering there's no cotton in them.

I have a pair of these from years ago. They last and are GREAT travel pants. Unfortunately, I bought "short" and they are not really short. I'm 5'2" and they are too long. I'm keeping them, because they are great otherwise. I'll have to hem them though.

The pants look great and fit but the color did not match what was on Zappos.

Feel like these may run a bit large

I loved the pair I bought a couple of years ago: this pair, though I ordered the same size, fit was a bit tight - unlike the old pair I have. That said, I know to size up. Still love these for casual wear and hiking.

I just use these for every day wear and I love them! They are very comfortable, the one down side is after just a few washes they have begun to pill on the butt. It was pretty disappointing just because of them costing so much and pilling so fast.

Greta pants just too thin for what I needed

I used these as lounge pants after heavy hiking days. Super comfortable and temperature controlled. They handled keeping me warm on a boat trip as well as cool whilst lounging in a hammock!!! My only fault is the short length is more like a regular length. I might need to take them up a fold or two!!! But didn't stop me from wearing them.

I love these pants but the size I bought is too big and too long.

I loved these pants when I bought them the first couple of times. When I went to order two more pair they had changed the waistband. The waistband is elastic and stretchy but they've used a different type of thread so the waistband is unable to stretch when you try to get them up over your hips. I had an extra small in the first couple of pairs and they were fine yet the last two pair, I can barely get them on and I weigh exactly the same. Disappointing. It doesn't make sense to have non stretchy thread in this type of waistband. I didn't want to hassle with a return so I kept them but it would be nice if they went back to the old style. They are super cute.

The fit is very comfortable but length is long. I bought 30 inch (short) but is still a bit long. I am 5'4" and it is about 2 inches too long. I was disappointed but kept the pants.

I absolutely love these pants -- prefer the full length to the capri length. I buy multiple pairs each year as I live in fear that they will be discontinued. They are harder to find every year. Two criticisms: (1) The sizing shifted a couple of years ago -- waistband was made a couple of inches smaller making these a bit challenging to pull on over hips -- fit on waist was fine, but not fun getting them there -- I wear a small and am a size 2 or small 4 in all brands. (2) The fabric -- uber-cheap! Not a high tech/performance fabric -- the material pills very badly wherever they make contact with an object -- for example: if you carry a crossbody bag or wear a backpack/small size daypack, the area where the bag or pack touches the pants will be irreparably pilled -- and the pilling is very visible. The only workaround is to replace them and wear the pilled up ones when you know they will rub against other things. I probably have 12 pairs of these pants in a variety of colours -- some I only where when I am not carrying something -- i.e.: for walking or at the gym, and some I only wear hiking/backpacking since they are already ruined. It's very sad/disappointing to pay $70 for a pair of pants like this and then discover their limitations. the first day you wear them with a pack or bag. There are plenty of knockoffs that sell at 1/2-1/3 of the price that are made with 100% nylon and do not have the pilling problem (Kyodan, RBX). All the features, and none of the problems... I like to support The North Face which is why I continue to buy them, but I am nearing the end of my frustration rope

I liked this product and the quality looked amazing!! Too small- the small fit like an extra small- size up!

A little long, I had to have them hemmed. They work good for hot weather and are comfortable. Seems like they could snag easily.

I prefer wearing these over shorts in the summer! The fabric breathes well. The waist does not have much give, but in return, they stay put.
