I had a rain jacket from Northface that was almost 10 years old. I took it out of the closet this year to find that the lining had started peeling off. I sent it into their warranty department not expecting much to happen but I was blown away! They sent me this BRAND NEW rain jacket!!! I am so happy! Thank you so much Northface! I will be sharing my story with everyone I know! Great company!

This is an awesome jacket, lightweight, water-proof, and breathable!
I live in California and I usually bike to work, this jacket is wind-proof. I really love this pink color, which makes me noticeable in the day and at night. I usually go out for hiking too, Last week I went to Yosemite for 8 hours hiking. It worked so good - that day was 100F and raining a little bit, and this jacket kept me all dry without making me feel hot at all! I can't even believe that it can keep me dry for 8 hours!
Definitely will keep it for years and recommend it to my friends. I even want to buy another one for my mom!

Weather during the 2018 Boston marathon was terrible - sheets of driving rain, 30 mph winds, temps in 30s/low 40s. A few days before the race, coming from SoCal without breathable raingear, I decided to buy this jacket, hoping for a change in weather forecast and not knowing if I'd need it on race day. Not only did I need it, but I really think it saved my race and my health that day. Others around me were becoming hypothermic and dropping out while I was running along in complete comfort - dry and warm - for almost 4 hours in intense, driving rain. This jacket kept me 100% dry while still allowing my body to breathe and any sweat to dissipate. Love the pit zips, which I stopped and opened about 3 miles into the marathon. It's the best item I've purchased in ages and well worth its reasonable price. I almost bought a much more expensive jacket but am SO happy to have this one and will treasure it forever. It has been put to an extreme test and passed with flying colors. Highly recommend!!!

Bought this jacket for a trip to Iceland - Packs down small and lightweight, which was great since I only pack a carry on. It's not lined/not warm, but I had enough room to layer warm layers underneath the jacket. I am 5'4" and 115lb - I got the size small which was perfect. Not too tight, but not huge - able to add warmer layers. Perfect for what I needed it for.

I initially loved this jacket. It's the perfect weight for spring, fall and even winter in North Carolina. However, after a year of wear the interior lining has disintegrated. It is so bad, that I can't even wear it because peices of the lining shed onto my clothes.

Bought this for my Girlfriend because she loves my Northface. I wear mine everywhere, to the gym, running, hiking, traveling and snowboarding. If it's cold I throw a light sweater under and bam I'm warm. She just got it and she loves it. She wore it snowboarding and it did fantastic, she wore a sweater under and she stayed warm and dry after a full day in 30 degree cold. She plans on wearing it traveling to places both warm and cold. I want one in grey overall amazing product and I'm a huge north face fan!

I'm 5'3" and 130 lbs. I purchased the medium and the jacket fits well. It's a little big, but I wanted it larger to allow for layers underneath. It looks really good on and is comfortable. The armpit vents help with the ventilation which is often hard to get in rain gear. The hood has a small bill built into it to help shelter your eyes from rain, and it has it's own drawstring to tighten. Large interior pockets make it easy to carry my phone and keep it safe from the elements.

The jacket is gorgeous. The color is great (I got the grey one). And it stands out from all the black jackets. Nice fit as well.
It is true to size. I usually get a Large, but I got an X-Large in case I wanted to put several layers inside.
Great wind-breaker, really waterproof (I survived next to a huge waterfall), and its breathable.
And when it was extra-cold I used a warmer NorthFace jacket inside (size L).
The only thing I did not like is that the zipper gave some problems,,,

I bought an extra one of this rain jacket in this great blue for working outside at home when it rains. I always pack one of these jackets when I travel no matter where I go (Hawaii, Tahiti, New Zealand in winter, Spain, Italy, France, or a road trip through the US). These jackets are light enough to wear in warm, rainy weather, and great to use to layer over warm clothing in cold weather (I get a size bigger for layering). They are also very give good movement.

I just recently returned from a trip to Ireland and this was the best jacket for the rainy weather. The one feature I was super excited about, though, I never had to use, but I'm glad the venting armpits is a feature! It definitely kept me dry and warm paired with my layers.

Loved this jacket so much I got one for my moms birthday. She is now a fan!! Great light weight option that can fold into the pocket for easy storage. I also got caught in a down poor while camping and it did surprisingly well keeping my dry.

I brought this jacket for myself and my picky daughter. She loves it. We wear them in the rain and in windy days. We keep our jackets folded up in our purses just in case.

I had the most difficult time finding a completely waterproof jacket that was not made of uncomfortable plastic. Here it is, folks. She's a beauty.

This jacket is so perfect for warm/mild weather and is truly waterproof! The rain literally rolls off of it. I keep buying jackets that claim they are but absorbs some rain. Living in NYC this is necessary as I walk everywhere. I am SO happy with my choice!

This is a nice lightweight jacket, a little longer than The Northface jacket. I like TNF but I’m 5’8” and prefer it a little longer. Tough to find white, and I get lots of compliments. No inside pockets; only 2 outside zippered hand pockets.

This jacket kept me dry during a multi-day hike through the Redwood National and State Parks. The pit zips were a great way to release excess heat while hiking. It rained quite a bit during the trip and the jacket kept me completely dry! It is breathable and flexible enough for hiking while also being stylish for more casual use. Some of the best features are the adjustable hood, velcro sleeves, and zippered pockets!

Bought this for my daughter who moved from Nashville to Ithaca, NY for college where there is a lot of gray and rainy weather. This jacket was definitely needed and keeps her warm and dry.

This jacket got me through 10 days of Alaskan rain and wind and was my go-to piece of clothing the entire trip. Its fit is a little bit larger than what I'd wear so I had to order a size down. However, because our weather was so cold I needed to wear many layers - fleece and down sweater fit great underneath so consider how much you'll layer this piece when ordering size. The sleeves were long enough which was nice and the hood size was generous enough to shield my face. Overall it did exactly what it was supposed to do which was keep me dry. And the style and color are great!

I normally wear a small in clothing, I purchased a medium in this. The fit was good, plenty of room for layering. This just wasn't really what I needed for running errands & taking the kids to school, etc. This would be better suited for hiking or traveling as it is super lightweight & packable.
