I love how light weight this jacket is. I also appreciate that the sleeves can be adjusted since I have smaller wrists. I will definitely wear this jacket around town, in the rain and on hikes. I also be wearing this jacket on an upcoming trip to Seattle. Very versatile!

Trust your instincts not the size guide. Great jacket once you find the right fit.

The coat was great and it fit perfectly. My girlfriend is about 5'2" and I got her an XS. I was quite disappointed with the color however. I ordered the Oatmeal Heather color. The jacket is basically a cream color. Much lighter than I had thought. I really wish the pockets were fleece lined too because they aren't very comfortable or warm, but thats a small detail.

I only used my jacket for less than a week and the inside pocket broke. This was my first north face jacket and it already broke

Obviously this is a rain jacket, and I would only wear it in the rain as it would be a little stiff for day-to-day wear. It definitely repels water and keeps ya dry, I'll give it that! My only complaint is that the color in real life is NOTHING like the photo online. I ordered garnet purple heather, but in person it is a really dark purple. Still ok but not as advertised.

I purchased this jacket on the recommendation of my daughter, who was using it at college. I needed a lightweight waterproof jacket for occasional wear when traveling. The price was a bit steep for infrequent wear, but I loved all of the pockets and other features North Face included. It has been hanging in my closet for a couple of months and I pulled it out to wear to work today. Upon my arrival I discovered that the fabric was crumbling right along the edge of the seam sealing between the neck and hood of the jacket. NOT the quality and durability I expected from North Face and at this price point.

specifically bought this jacket in a larger size.. the waist cinches in and makes you look like a bell. very unhappy with how it looks on. would definitely not recommend if you want it to fit like any of the photos provided. not sure how they expect you to wear a fleece or insulated layer underneath. for reference I am 5'2'' 125lbs and athletic and bought a size medium.

The jacket itself was nice. I liked the color and the material appeared high quality. Unfortunately, I never had the chance to wear it and returned it. It was just way too big on me. It looked like I was wearing a tent. However, for someone larger than me the jacket would probably be great!

The heather green windbreaker was a nice color, but it fit poorly and material felt like paper. I returned it.

Haven't gotten wet yet wearing this. It is a little tighter in the mid section than most in this size for me but I still wear it! Very lightweight and comfortable.

This rain jacket was exactly what I was looking for. I bought my regular size but it’s still roomy enough to layer over a sweatshirt for damp, chilly days. It keeps the wind out and me dry. Love it!

I’m 5’6” 130lbs usually wear a medium for most brands but took the advice to size up and was happy I did. The large fits loosely, so I’m able to wear my usual layers underneath, or be comfortable in the warmer months without. Exactly what I was looking for to replace my old hooded shell!

I have twelve of this jacket, 3 shades of purple, 3 shades a pink, 1 bright yellow, 1 bright orange, royal blue, EAGLES green, white and mustard yellow. Enough said! DO NOT ever get rid of this jackets. The pit zips are one of the top things I LOVE. These are the perfect spring windbreaker/ rain jacket and can be packed into a tiny little pouch. I love the way the hood fits with a baseball hat under.

I am seriously in LOVE with this light rain jacket! I was drawn to this gorgeous blue color and had to have it the second I saw it! It’s also crazy warm for being so thin and light, and rain runs right off it! I have several of these in other colors over the last 20 years and will continue to purchase more. I highly recommend!

Great waterproof cover. I will use it to layer over my down jacket when we travel to Norway & Lapland in March. Color is perfect for me.

Love the slits for the venting of the arm pits. Lightweight jacket, fits well, and keeps me very dry!

Great color and arrive quickly. Rain jacket is very lightweight and has side zipper vents.

Can't beat The North Face for customer service! My old North Face raincoat's seams were disintegrating, and The North Face sent me an e-gift card that covered this lovely replacement raincoat. I haven't tested the coat out yet in the field this winter for real, but will certainly use it this spring and summer. Fits well and looks and feels like standard North Face quality -- it should last!
