I ran in a pair of Sauconys that I loved years ago, and had moved to a different brand for the past few years. When I was looking for a new shoe to add into my training mix this season, these were a recommendation made by my local running shop. I wanted to love them, & I really did at first. The way the inner lining of the shoe fits like a sock is so comfortable, and I do love the sleek style & weight of the shoe. It was a bit of a jump in offset than what I've grown accustomed to running in, so I trained into it slowly & carefully- just 5 minutes, then 10, then a 5k, etc. As other reviewers have said, just a tiny bit of water really gets into the toe- the fabric is like a sponge...it takes up any & all water & dirt, & it stays damp. Stitching started to wear away & unravel on the tongue & around the overlay that lines the lace loops within 50 miles of use. I was still determined to love them, anyway. They felt comfortable, & I felt light and fast in them. A seasoned long distance runner, an unfamiliar, intolerable pain set into my feet nearly immediately once I began running distances as conservative as 5k. I've never had plantar fasciitis before, and suddenly I had a bad case of it. I didn't believe it was from these shoes & figured it was a new thing my body was experiencing with age & mileage, invested in a nice tool for my feet, and kept on going. During the first long'er run I donned these, I fractured my 3rd metatarsal. I onbvioisly can't put full blame for this on the shoe, however, the combination of this shoe on my foot just didn't work for my body's mechanics. After reading many reviews, it stands in a category with other shoes I've successfully run in with no issues, so I was surprised to have these problems. The ride is softer in the sole on these, which definitely creates less stability in the landing under the metatarsals. For anyone switching from a more rigid sole and/or making a jump in offset, definitely take your time adjusting into these & build up your foot strength. Since being allowed to resume running, I've switched back to another shoe & am no longer experiencing pain. And again to echo others, those the fabric is so comfortable, the way it holds up is quite disappointing. Still eager to try another model of Saucony, but these are unfortunately not for me.

I moved to the Freedom from the Zealot and love the comfort, weight, and fit. The quality however has been a bit disappointing. As another reviewer pointed out, any water, no matter how little will find its way into the toe of the shoe. Also, at around 200 miles the mesh on the toebox started to wear (big toe starting to poke thorough) and, with ~400 miles on the shoes the heel collar has weakened. Would I recommend Saucony - definitely, just not the Freedom.

I wanted these shoes ever since I heard about them because they look so awesome. However, once I got them, I found that they were not as great as I was expecting them to be. First, they did not have as much cushioning as they were promising. My feet would start to hurt at the end of long runs. I wish they had I higher stack height, that might would help. I felt so close to the ground. Second, they do not feel very fast and springy like I was hoping, but instead kind of flat and squishy. Also, these run smaller than my other Saucony shoes. My biggest complaint is that my arch would hurt after every run in these. They were okay because I wore them for about 100 miles before I decided I could not take it anymore. I know other people that love these shoes, but I much prefer my other Saucony shoes: the Ride 10 and Kinvara 8.

Order a half size up. I wear an 8 and this sizing was really off. Toe box also runs narrower than most other saucony. Cushion is comfortable and love the color. This model just fits too snug and runs small really cramping my toes for my liking.

I was very excited to order this and the shipment just came in. The shoe fit incredibly snug and the toe box is rather narrow compared to other Saucony shoes. I compared this shoe sole-to-sole with my Saucony Omni's and it is noticeably smaller in both length and width (about a thumb's width). That being said, it seems like a good quality shoe. Hence I returned the shoe and plan to order it in a whole shoe size up. I can't wait to run in this shoe once the new size comes in!

Love the colour and look but I bought them in my usual size and they are way to small. My toe touches the end so I am unable to run in them. All 7 of my other Saucony runners I am a size 8. This runner I would need at least 0.5 -1 size bigger. I found the sole of the shoe heavier then my other Sauncony runners as well.
Women's Kinvara is still by far my favorite.

I had my eye on the black Freedom ISO's for a long time. I needed a black sneaker for work & loved the style of these. I finally decided to get them when they went on sale. After I broke them in, the cushioning still remained very stiff. If I wear these more than a few hours, my feet start aching & they become miserable to wear. I have to rotate them with other sneakers because they are just really lacking in cushioning. I've tried them with and without inserts. How are these considered plush cushioning? I'm just grateful that I purchased these on sale, otherwise I'd be even more upset. This is the first sneaker that I've purchased & kept with Saucony. Not a good first impression at all.

Sad these shoes didn't work out for me. They were way to small and narrow when I tried them on. So crazy how these are so different from the Kinvara and Ride styles that fit my feet perfectly. I really hoped this style would be a good addition to my runs but I couldn't even walk around the house in them without my feet throbbing from how small they were. I even checked the size to make sure I got the correct size - it was. So these shoes run small and narrow.

I ran a few times in these, but thought the cushioning was too soft and unresponsive for my style. The fit was also extremely narrow and confining and the tongue often slipped around because it is not attached. I decided to wear these for work because of the high cushioning and neutral color (black). I only wore them three times a week for work and within a few months, there was a hole in the upper around the big toe. Shortly later, the other side also developed a hole in the upper around the big toe. I regularly trim my toe nails and bought an appropriate size, even with plenty of room to withstand long hours on my feet. I miss the Cortana for its cushioning and strong upper. If this is its replacement, its really disappointing, even at a discount.

These are VERY light shoes, good looking & well made as usual for Saucony, but there's little side support and no feeling of "return" in the heel strike. They're cushioned all right, but just not for running!

When I first got this shoe, I loved it. It felt very comfortable and my first run with them on feel amazing. But after my third run, I began to notice that my feet were hurting, and in particular, I had a slight protrusion on my right heel, which I had never had before. I have been running for a while now, have had other great Saucony shoes that made it feel like I was running on clouds. But sadly, this pair has done the complete opposite. I wish they didn't feel so comfortable at first so I could have returned them. If I feel like I wasted money on a pair of shoes I will no longer be able to use, and will now have to spend the same amount of money to get another pair of running shoes.

Got these shoes in November and wanted to break them in before my marathon in December! Different colors run different sizes. Have three freedoms and the gray ones would even fit on my feet. Wore them anyway, my toenail fell completely off, and now the sides are peeling. Very cheaply made, and disappointment because I love my other ones! Maybe it was just a bad pair, but definetly try instores, so you can verify size before hand.

I loved this sneakers in the store. Very stylish and even comfortable, until I walked/ran in them for a good amount of distance. My feet hurt and my lower back was on fire. I will never wear them again.

I got these in February, loved them on my very first run. Went 10 miles and they were AMAZING! The problem is I wore holes in the upper mesh above my big toes after less than 4 months of minimal/moderate wear. The last 2 months I haven't ran in them and try to keep my toe down just to get some use out of them. Soles and rest of the shoe looks brand new. I have shoes that have lasted 2 years or more and have never had my toe literally go through the top of the shoe. For this price, less than 6 months was a huge disappointment. My sister bought the same shoes based on my early recommendation and hers lasted even less time.

Absolutely love running in Saucony shoes. I purchased Freedom ISO for the first time in April. I ran in them for less then a month and a hole appeared at the top mesh part of both shoes. I took them back and got the exact pair but a size up thinking that could have been the problem. Yet again, I have a hole in the new pair in the exact same spot. I've been running in Saucony for over twenty years and never have had an issue. I am very disappointed in the quality of these shoes.

I hate the new isofit they are putting in their shoes. Love the cushioning but NO padding in the tongue. They are going back.

I loved these shoes from the very first time I tried them on in my local running store. I balked at first at the price but with as much time as I spend on my feet, I could justify the price. My runs in them have been amazing and so comfortable!
However, about 150 miles in, I started to notice my right toe starting to become threadbare. Now at just over 225 miles, there is a huge hole in the toe. I want to buy another pair of these because of the comfort but I can't justify the cost and only making it a couple of months-and I'm not even in a training cycle!

I had a pair of these shoes purchased for me on April 1 for my birthday. They were comfy, great colors, and made running on my joints easy from impact. No break in needed.
But.....after only 25 days of running, I had noticed that the mesh on the top has started to seperate from the shoe to make a hole.
I do love these shoes, but I'm torn wheather I will be returning where I had bought them or just exchanging them because of the fact that only after 25 days is it going to happen again on another pair of shoes?

I purchased this shoe in September 2018 and did t wear it until November 2018. As of March 2019 I have less than 100 miles on the shoes and the cushion/support is all gone on the front 50% of the shoe AND the biggest issue is that the shoe is tearing at the toes. I've last all support in the toe because my big toe can almost completely slide through the shoe in one foot. I have owned free's before and easily got over 600 miles on my last pair. Never again will I purchase saucony.

Sorry to say, I could not wear the shoe. For some reason they caused torture for my toes. I am now wearing Triumphs that I have had for many years. I have always worn Saucony shoes, in the past as a runner, now as a walker. I hope to get a refund so I can buy another pair of Triumphs. I cannot afford to spend $100 on a pair of shoes I can not wear. Sorry for this report.

These might be some of the most uncomfortable shoes I've ever worn. I tried them in the store and they were really great but as soon as I got them out for a run, my feet were in burning, excruciating pain. I thought they just needed to be broken in but I've now worn them about 20 times and I am still in pain every. single. time. I took out the insole to see if that helped, but nothing. Literally 15 minutes into any run or walk and the pads of my feet are on fire and I can't wait to get these shoes off. Such a shame because I loved them in the store, but these are unwearable.
