Bought this shoe in my normal size. Thought it was a little small. Kept trying to make it work. Definitely too small. Unfortunately the store I purchased them at won't let me exchange them for 1/2 size up. I wish they would have known they fit small before I purchased. Seems like a good marathon racing shoe. Not sure if I'll spend the money again to get correct size. Bummer.

I love the 4mm drop, the cushion, the style, all perfect for shorter runs. However I am disappointed in the construction because for $160, the last lace loop just kind of hangs there due to no stitching. Definitely little to no arch support and my toes were squished into the toe box. I'm a true 8 and sizing should be consistent across the board. I wanted to love them, but they are going back sadly.i think saucony is onto something if they can fix the toe box and sizing of the shoe!

When I first saw these shoes, I new I wanted them. They look super cool (I bought the blue ones with the highlighter yellow and orange soles), and they're extremely comfortable. However, I've had them for maybe 7-8 months, and they are really struggling to hold together. I am an avid runner and understand that shoes fall apart, especially if you run them a lot like I do (and on trail gravel and whatnot). So I'm actually not surprised that the fabric is wearing, considering the tops of the shoes are made of mesh-like material that doesn't seem super sturdy. Since these seem like shorter-term shoes, I think they should definitely cost less. I'm not asking them to redesign the material or anything, but if the shoes don't even last a year and they're made by a running shoe company, perhaps they should be cheaper so I could go buy another pair. $160 for a pair of shoes is a lot, even if they do look sick. They should hold up better for that price.

Overall this shoe is sleek and breathable and very light. lacks in stability. I found my arch area hurting in my runs that were over the 7 to 8 miles and longer. I did try to put inserts to increase the stability because I really like the how the material was breathable and flexible. but in the end went back to my guide 10

This seems like it would be a great shoe for a nuetral runner, but recently all of Saucony's sizes seem to be running small. Will be ordering a half size up.

While the shoes are a bit narrow in width, it doesn't really bother me when I run. They feel well-cushioned but not "clunky" as some cushioned shoes can. I tend to like more natural-feeling shoes and these are a great mix of "minimalist" cushioned shoes. The blue is my favorite color, too!

I would recommend this shoe to runners with narrow feet. I might have liked them better if I had tried half a size larger.

I have high hopes for these and LOVE a lot about them so far. The blue is such a great color, the fit felt natural when I put them on, and the cushion is very plush, actually squishy underfoot. I also wear the Triumph 2 for long or recovery runs, and the Zealot 1 for speed/tempo and moderate runs. My favorites used to be the Virrata, but Saucony doesn't make them anymore. As far as sizing, I would say there is definitely no consistency from shoe to shoe - which is frustrating and why I only gave "good" ratings for quality and comfort. My Virratas always fit perfectly, IMO, which is a thumb's width at the end of my big toe. The Triumphs are almost too long, just over a thumb's width, and I have gotten blisters from them when I run over 10 miles or so. Zealots are just a bit too short - just under a thumb's width (but are my current favorite). Freedom feel very similar to the Zealot, with maybe a tiny bit more length. Maybe. I've been reading a lot about sizing complaints since I started wearing Zealots, and I wish Saucony would do something about it. All versions of my shoe were the same size. We'll see how they work on the run!

My new Freedom ISO came in today and I did a test run (3 miles of easy run and sprinting). All I can say is WOW - my feet are happy and definitely feel the return of energy with every foot strike. The fitting felt like the Zealot 1 which hardly require breaking into. I am very impressed and will definitely look forward to new colors. I'll updat after a week or two of running (tempo, long and hills).

They are okay, but kind of flimsy. Not a lot of arch support. I'm shocked that these shoes started out at near $200. I'll wear these to the gym, but not for running or walking.

These shoes are very comfortable for short and long runs, and very lightweight. The blue pair is beautiful and great for visibility. Unfortunately, the sock-like liner gave me awful blisters on the arch of my foot. My biggest complaint is after having the shoes for only 4 and a half months they got large holes above both big toes, when running 10-15 miles a week at most. I have never had this happen in shoes, even when I was half marathon training. I wish the upper was more durable because the sole is so great.

I've been running in Saucony for 25 years and have always worn the same size. These are the typical Saucony excellent quality but run very small. I sent them back and odered the style I am currently running in and they fit perfectly.

Man, my toes are beyond cramped that if I try to run in them more than 2 miles, I'll have severe pain. And yet? You can feel the magic in them. I got them pretty discounted originally, so I'm not sure I'm willing to buy another pair at the current price, but who knows. I would size up AT LEAST a half size, but I'm considering a full size to account for foot swelling and wearing thicker socks in the winter.

I bought a pair of Saucony Liberty ISO and loved everything about it, and that leads me to purchase another pair of Saucony Freedom ISO.
However, it was a huge disappointment. Freedom ISO does not have the support in the front of the sole like the Liberty.
I wished I could return it and get refund to buy another pair of Liberty.
Highly recommend Liberty but NOT Freedom (doesn't matter if it is on sale. not worth it.)

I have an older pair of the same shoes. They are built way better. These shoes run small and do not have the same quality sole. These shoes are more for decoration than as a running shoe.

I love Saucony. I've worn Saucony for over 40 years. I've been the same size for years. So I tried the freedom iso in "my size". I initially attributed the "different" feeling to it being a new style for me. But now running with these shoes I realize they are too small (1/2 size to a full size small in comparison to the shadow 6000). Style/color/quality are great.

I loved these shoes! So comfortable and ran like a dream. Sadly, the first pair I purchased wore a hole in the right toe. I had purchased up a half-size so the fit would be accurate according to the running shoe expert at a local specialty shop. So, when the toe wore out, I thought, "gosh, I've really loved running in these. Maybe it was a one-time issue." WRONG. My bad. I bought another pair and now the same issue is appearing. For $160.00 I expected them to wear better. This is a design/material flaw. Keep your money and look elsewhere.

I've worn the Zealot for the marathon for a few years but with it apparently being discontinued I wanted to start searching for a new shoe now well before I need it. I had heard that the Freedom rode similar to the Zealot and the plushness scale indicated it was similar, so I decided to give it a go. The shoe looks great, but it is definitely NOT a plush shoe! This pair was way firmer than my Kinvaras and really aggravated my right foot. Even after I changed back into my old Zealots my right foot bugged me for the rest of my run. I'd definitely recommend it as an uptempo shoe, but this is a bust for me for marathon training.

I purchased these in late December. Right away, I noticed a lot of pain in my ankles while I was running and for days after- pain that I haven't had while running before. I'm not a marathon runner- just a few miles a day, and a 5k here and there. I took a little time off and even tried other shoes, but the pain came back when I ran in these shoes again. Pretty disappointed I spent what I did on these only 3 months ago and probably won't get anymore use out of them.

I am usually not one to complain, but I bought the shoes a year ago for $160. This the most I have ever paid for a shoe. They feel fantastic on my feet!!! I don't use them very often and after two months the color overlay on the sole started peeling off and I tried to glue it back on. Then after 6 months or so, holes started wearing through the top of the fabric. I am so disappointed and try to still wear them because they wear good, they just look horrible. I thought of gluing a piece of fabric underneath the holes so I can continue to wear them.

I loved these runners but unfortunately they just didn't last the upper ripped on me twice, Saucony was amazing a replaced the first pair after only 3 months of wear and then the second pair went the exact same place, the cushion in these shoes were amazing one of the most comfortable pair I've owned

I wanted so badly to love these. I even ordered 2 sizes (up from my original size 8) to try for an optimal fit. One was too tight, the other too long. I could have managed that most likely, but they were lacking in other areas. They just aren’t as supportive or as cushioning as my Saucony Triumphs. There is a huge difference in the arch support for me. But they are super lightweight.

Oh, I truly wanted these shoes to work. As far as aesthetics go this is a gorgeous pair of running shoes. Sadly, they really do run small. I chose to go up a half size but it still wasn’t enough. Off to Zappos they go. I’m going to stay within the Saucony line, but maybe a different style.

These shoes were my first by Saucony; I've previously worn other brands. I bought these at a local running store, following a custom fitting including gait analysis and all. They were comfortable with great style, but at 150 miles the fabric at the toe tore and that was it. I was disappointed in that I was anticipating getting another couple hundred miles out of them at $160 a pair.
