Brooks Ravenna sneakers have been my "go-to" for running/boot camp workouts for years. But something dramatic has changed with the Ravenna 8. The lacing style is all different, and causes weird pressure on the top of my foot in an uncomfortable way. The bottom of my foot went entirely numb when I ran in them. I am going back to my (worn out) Ravenna 7's for now. I think I may try the Adrenaline GTS17 in the meantime. I am hoping Brooks changes the style back to the original when they make the Ravenna 9.

I truly loved Brooks sneakers. Although not a runner, they were great for my knee comfort. The last two pairs ended up with the material splitting over the top sections of the sneaker within a couple of weeks. A pair was replaced by Zappos without any problem. This last pair did the same thing with a couple of weeks. Now the dilemma is whether to try them again or go to a completely different brand. Hate feeling lost again on brands.

They changed the way they make the shoe. The tonque space in the middle does not get me enough support for my foot. or anyones for that matter. it was not a goo idea to change it,

Purchase the Brooks Ravenna 8 after wearing Brooks Ravenna 7 for several months. In each shoe, wore 9.5 D. However, the #8 Ravena is huge!!! Toe box is cut much larger or something.

I ordered 3 pairs of Brooks tennis shoes. This style was the only one that was long enough, but it was still too narrow. I didn't like the color combination in person and could not rate overall or comfort, since it didn't fit. I'm exchanging this for another style.
